When footage of Trisha with cropped hair withdrawing so much money from ATM emerged, should not the police had thought about fake kidnapping angle.Solanki angle was ruled out just after that and no substantial Ransome call later was good enough to pinpoint real kidnapping. The case is high profile and being investigated by an ACP not some sub inspector. This seems implausible to me.The story is a figment of imagination and I definitely feel writer has left a loop hole here. May be all this meaningless investigation in meaningless direction was just to bring out extra marital, incestous scandals of Swaikas out in the open in order to keep the audience hooked.

I think there is the possibility that Trisha was threatened by a kidnapper to withdraw that money. So I guess the police couldn't rule out the possibility of kidnapping during Solanki's time just based on the fact that they saw Trisha withdrawing the money.

The kidnapper who surfaced after money withdrawal was Solanki who was later ruled out as bogus. And there was hardly any investigation vis--vis Ransome later. So it can strongly be inferred that Trisha could have staged her missing/kidnapping.
Even Trisha's body is yet not found and Kabir's belief about she being alive still just on the basis of ATM footage gives clear indication that Trisha has left on her own.

The thing is though that not all kidnappings happen for ransom. I don't think they've ruled out the prospect that Trisha was kidnapped just to give the Swaikas pain. Then to top it off the Swaikas are top businesspeople and ever since Trisha has been kidnapped their business has suffered. There is another motive for kidnapping.

And even if he does make the obvious conclusion that she hasn't been kidnapped then they still do need to find her. So the searching for her phone number and finding who may be involved in the family is just a part of that investigation.

Hmmm... I think ACP was brought in to handle the case as Mr. Prateek Swaika brought in immense pressure on home ministry and CM and who all for his missing daughter's case... as far as Prateek is concerned...he's still disgusted at an ACP handling this case instead of DCP or CBI.
This show is not just about finding a missing person but also about knowing who your well wishers are...at good times and at times of a crisis. How parents and family handles the loss of a closed one and how they cope with the situation.
Kabir's pain is mirrored in Amrita. At times I feel he's searching Trisha for Amrita...not just because it's his duty.
