Amrita has a dream where Trisha is calling her. She wakes up & notices a bunch of reporters gathered in front of the house. The security guards are stopping them from coming inside. Meghan thinks it's the paparazzi & goes to get ready to appear good on 'Page 3'.
Kushan is upset looking at newspapers headlines which say, "Cousins Suspected in Trisha's disappearance". Lavanya & Bobby are also worried about the news being leaked into media. Meghan tries to go outside since she wants to be the center of every one's attention. Lavanya scolds her & forcibly takes her back inside.
Abhay arrives at Kabir's house in the early morning while Kabir is trying to watch a kabaddi match on TV. Kabir advises Abhay to get married as he will then quit disturbing him and will also stop smiling. They receive the news about their case information being leaked to the media.
Prateek is infuriated since the Swaika kids' news was leaked to the media despite his warning to Kabir and his team. The entire family keeps receiving unwanted phone calls from reporters. This further annoys Prateek and he tells his aides to find out who leaked the news.
At his office, Kabir is shocked to see the newspaper headlines. He gathers his team (who's working on this case) & strictly interrogates them on who leaked the news to the media. No one speaks out. He warns them of strict disciplinary action & then turns emotional thinking how the leaked information can hamper their search. He storms out of his office in a fit of rage.
Lavanya advises Prateek to stick together as a family when the press reporters are trying to keep an eye on their each move. She tells him that their company's share value will fall if the media learns of the misunderstandings which have cropped up amongst them. Lavanya suggests they should hold a press conference to clear any doubts about this disparity. Amrita is annoyed at Lavanya's insensitivity towards Trisha's disappearance and Bobby & Vivaan being the prime suspects. She announces that no press conference will be held as she no longer cares about what people think about their family's feud. Prateek sides with Amrita on this and tells Lavanya that it's impossible for him to reconcile with her or pretend they are all a happy family when her own son is a suspect. Gaurav tries to talk to Prateek but he refuses to listen to him as well & tells him that Vivaan can't be forgiven ever for what he did. Prateek tells them not to expect any kind of help from his side and warns them that he will break off all ties if they don't stop bugging him to reconcile. Gaurav and Lavanya are stunned at this announcement.
Kushan is frustrated with reporters calling repeatedly & questioning him about Bobby. He yells at them and says his son is innocent. Bobby overhears his conversation & tries to pacify Kushan. He reassures him that he loved Trisha and therefore, can't even think of harming her. Kushan tells him that he has full faith in him and he trusts him completely. Bobby lets him know that all will fine in the end when Trisha comes home.
Prateek appoints a new supervisor for the tower project (this position was previously given to Kushan). Lavanya walks in and Prateek introduces the new employee to her. Lavanya speaks to Prateek privately and expresses her disapproval since she was supposed to hire the new employee, and not him. Prateek defends himself and tells her not to question his decisions. Lavanya says it's unfair for Kushan as he could have worked on the project while she searched for the new supervisor. Prateek tells her that he would rather see Kushan not being hired for any of his projects. Lavanya tells him not to get personal & keep their family matters out of their business. Prateek replies that she is being personal as well while supporting her husband. Lavanya advises him not to distant himself from his own family. Prateek clearly tells her that he doesn't trust Bobby at all since he is a liar. Lavanya defends her son and tells Prateek that everyone lies, including him. She finally reveals that she knows about his affair with Neha. Prateek is left shocked & tries to deny it and tells her to stop using such 'cheap tactics' to save her son. Lavanya tells him not to cross his limits and that too for a "baaharwaali" (outsider). She warns Prateek not to involve her kids or else she'll have to tell Amrita about his affair.
Amrita meets with Kabir and accuses him of hiding his team's failure by diverting media's attention on Swaika kids & ruining their family's reputation in the process. Kabir looks on quietly as she criticizes him for treating Trisha's disappearance like just another unimportant police case. As she turns to leave, Kabir finally speaks up and tells her he is not the one who leaked the information to the media since he knows his limits and that's why didn't even register an official FIR when he took away Vivaan and Bobby for questioning.
Precap: Amrita fondly looks at Kabir's daughter's picture in his wallet. She tells him that his daughter is very pretty. Kabir replies, "she was".
At home, Prateek strictly tells Amrita not to meet with ACP Kabir. Amrita tells him that she if she wants to, she will definitely go & meet Kabir and no one can stop her.
