i really support sarfaraz here

he was innocent still he got punished

sundar will cry tears of blood

when he knows he was wrong

and also that he is his brother

it will be hard for sarfaraz

to forgive and forget all so easily

Sorry I should've been more clear. The foreshadowing is not that Sarfaraz is Sunder's brother, but foreshadowing of the past history which of course leads to today.

This is going off my guess that the girl Kishorelal loved was a girl from Heera Mandi.

In the first episode that exchange outside Sunder's room/office while he's finishing up work he has to do before leaving next day. Sunder is afraid his father will hear Lal Chand about going to Heera Mandi, and Lal Chand replies something like all the men in Lahore have gone to Heera Mandi at one time or another. Surely Babuji himself has gone in his days of youth.
