Script writers need to research

I love Ladies special but of late , the script writers are being sloppy and slipping up on many details . This is ok for other Tv shows as they r nothing but fantasy soaps , where the heroines r over good and the villains are not human .........the plots are unrealistic and full of murky past lives , illegitimate children , stupid sacrifices that yield no result and senseless suffering galore ............examples being Kasam SE , Dulhann, Maayka , GkLB , etc etc . Ladies Special was refreshing coz it was grounded in reality . But the recent scripts have been bad . Examples are

I think the script writers have changed . The extension that LS has got will be screwed up by such aimless , shoddy scripts . So Scriptwriters , buck up ! Or creative heads , fire them .

Didi, I couldn't agree with you more - I used to LOVE this show, it was so realistic but of late, they really have screwed it up! I was so looking forward to the Pooja-Vinny love story developing...this is really pathetic! Also, how are we viewers suppose to believe that Karan let Pooja go so easily?

I really hope LS improves but once a show heads down hill, it is tough to recover. I wonder on what basis they got the extension. There are hardly any shows worth watching & after GKLB, I just wanted to watch something realistic...

This was one of my very fav show initially and I thought it will be different but it has gone down the drain...show is not worth watching anymore...

I have hope that Pooja's story hasn't ended. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a replacement. Perhaps they had to put it on hold while they cast a new actress. Much as I like Payal, I feel that she wasn't as dedicated to this show as she should have been, which is a shame because her story was the most developed and intriguing. I remember not too long ago she took a long break as well. Even though she was a good actress I feel they should have replaced her with someone more stable. Also, I find it a bit confusing as to how Vinny and Shuba's stories will continue without Pooja. The reason I am hoping for a replacement is because Payal's abrupt departure affects so many of the other stories and actors as well.

Geeti's case and also parts of Pooja's story were sloppily handled. I wrote about this a little while ago. Like...Geeti was drugged and obviously had marks on her body indicative of struggle...so why was that not used as evidence? I think the case was a lot more cut and dry than they made it out to be.

And Pooja: Her entire office witnessed Karan threatening and intimidating her! Somehow the creative team twisted this incident to benefit Karan and not Pooja which makes absolutely no sense. Pooja should have benefited because she now has her entire office as witnesses to his psychotic behavior. These are people she must have a good relationship with, so why wouldn't they come to her defense?

1] The winding up of Geethi's case ..........a damp sqib where the villain suddenly grows a conscience .......which never happens in real life so it doesn't suit Ladies special .

2] The end { ????!!!!] of the Pooja ......Karan and Vinny track where suddenly Karan asks her to go to Dhanbad , she supposedly runs away which was never shown , sudden landing up at Vinny's house , the holding of hands and intimacy without even a divorce, Vinny never knowing about Karan's atrocities ........no news of Kamini and Poojas mom ........no divorce finalisation . This track was winded up stupidly .There is no other word for it .......Pardon me guys , Im being blunt here . It was the best track in Ladies Special and they blew it coz they didn't scratch their heads enough . They could have developed the track by showing Pooja working at Vinny's office , a relationship brewing silently , Karan doing a tamasha there and Vinny throwing him out and understanding the facts of Pooja's abusive marraige , Pooja starting divorce proceedings , and Karan finally snapping and trying to physically harm her , Vinny reaching on time and saving her and Karan going behind bars . Trisha spilling the beans that Vinny loves someone else , Shubha initially putting her foot down knowing the girl is married and not even divorced and relenting when she learns it is none other than Pooja. This would have been the best climax and extremely realistic and dramatic both .

The other girl........the doctor from the orphanage was a sheer waste of time of us viewers . The script writers are unecessarily bringing in other characters and wasting a lot of producer money and our time too .

3] Shivangi's track . : Again.......Use ur brains script writers . You are featuring two Maharashtrian families ....................Sathe and Sawant , and showed the wedding in a Marathi style , the bride dressed in a nine yard saree stc stc . Then why did you mess up by showing the guy puts sindoor in the maang ? Maharashtrians never put sindoor in their maang ...........it is a northie tradition . Marathi people put kumkum on forehead and mangalsutra .............bas . The blooper could have been ignored id the idiots had not gone on to make such an issue out of it............they showed the girl being caught coz she wiped the sindoor with her handkerchief . Even the Bengalis and North Indians know that Maharashtrians do not apply sindoor in their maang . Some may do it for fashion nowdays , but it is no ritual in Maharashtrian weddings .

4] Babli and Mintoo . The term ' brain cancer ' has wide connotations so would they be specific and detailed ? Also , second opinions r taken..........no one just folds in and accepts it like this . There r ways to cure it , stages at which it can be curbed . Babli 's behaviour is extremely unrealistic at times . If at all the Babli track is ending and Shivangi is introduced to take her place , why should we be subjected to such a pathetic end where Mintoo may accept being a buffoon on a reality show to acquire money for Babli's death and Babli dies anyway on a hospital bed yelling Mintooji Mintooji ? And all that sad music in the background ? The couple who made everyone laugh r in such pain..........the sad clown aspect perhaps ? Surely Ladies Special scriptwriters can do better than such typified imaginations ?

I am a Maharashtrian and never wear sindoor and that tradition was not even a part of my marriage ceremony! I hate the fact that Pooja's track was not treated well. It was indeed the best track.

Plus, he is a doctor not a God to give an exact time limit of 3 months. Doctors never loosely use the term "Cancer'. Especially when the tumor is in the brain it is specifically addressed as 'brain tumor'. There are two stages, benign and malignant. Benign tumor is most certainly treatable in this age with proper therapy. They should have expanded that verbatim and disease diagnosis. It saddens me when they mok at certain things and glorify it😕

Ditto for me, I am posting in this section after many months and especially for this post.

Varsha and Sunandshine...I remember both of you and thanks for coming back to this section and posting once more. Coming to the show as a regular viewer the show has completely disappointed me. I second rainabow's opinion that though Payel is a good actress and I like her she doesnt seem dedicated. She seems to flit from place to place and takes up whatever opportunity she gets and quickly gets bored or wants to move on when she feels she has something better on hand. For instance she did a dumb sidey role in Shakuntala and when she got LS she quit that show. Then later when she got some Bengali films she quit LS. I am sure if she runs out of offers in Bengali films instead of persevering she will be back to TV to quit again. Payel sorely lacks dedicated which is essential for a TV serial heroine. In fact when she disappeared the first time she should have been replaced by someone. She is good but there is others who are good too. For instance Megha Gupta would have made a good Pooja. So instead of getting a new character they should have replaced Payel with Megha.
When Payel disappeared the first time her track was on full steam and due to her quitting the show somehow lost its uniqueness. To make up for Pooja's absence they concentrated on Nanda's track which I guess didnt do too well. The channel must have ordered the production house to close the track and hence the abrupt closure as Payel was ready to come back to make some extra bucks till her next film started. Instead of waiting for Payel to return they should have replaced her at that point only. Vinny was already in the picture and they could have continued with Pooja's story with Vinny instead of the Dhanbad house track which turned out to be disappointing as well.
And now again due to Payel's exit they decide to close all the tracks related to Pooja. So its not only her but also other characters like Karan, Vinny, Shubha, Trisha, Vasu have also made an abrupt exit. I simply dont understand why dont they recognize what was unique in the show and replace Payel and get back all these characters and continue with Pooja's story. Maybe its vinaash kale vipreet buddhi. LS has got so many jury nominations. Its all due to old cast and tracks. Cant they see that? But really I have no hopes of improvement as I agree with h&rblock that once a show goes downhill its tough to recover. And this whole Shivangi track is doing more harm that good as its weird to see a complete set of new characters in the show. Many times such experiments have been tried but never worked.
And yes even I want to know that without Pooja's track and all old characters on what basis did the show get an extension? Maybe its only to pass time till they have a new show ready. Already they were showing promos of a new show Jeet Jayenge Hum.

Coming to bloopers and sloppy writing here's one from me: Pooja was given one month's notice before she went to Dhanbad. Yet she got leave to go and enjoy her sister's marriage for months. Which office would do that to an employee on notice? Or for the matter any employee. When she returns to Mumbai her friend tells her she has been terminated. Karan even taunts her and asks her to find another job. Yet she is again shown working in the same office. How come?
