I have a couple of thoughts on this:

August 19, 2009 - Discussions:

• Will Shubha be able to cope with Trisha's rude behavior?
• Will Vinny set Trisha straight?
• Will Trisha do her absolute best to embarass the Joshi's in any way possible?
• Will Trisha try to avenge her mother's death? [For Unknown Reasons.]
• It was shown that Trisha is upset with all the love Vasu has gotten from Vipul. How will Shubha handle this situation?

Trisha's entry was shown today, and by god, she is something else. A modern, stuck-up, bubble-blowing, spolit young woman, who needs to her prioreties straight. Even though she was only shown for 5 minutes today, Vasu and Trisha are at loggerheads! Yay! *Giggles*

i dont think shubha or vinny will really have a problem with trisha. in fact someone like vinny who is usually calm its tough to get under their skin. in fact trisha might get on well with him.
shubha sees trisha as vipul's daughter. and i think from his will she has concluded that vipul wanted his WHOLE family to live together under one roof. i guess thats the reason she invited trisha-to fulfill his last wish. so however rude trisha is i dont think she will get to shubha. shubha is warm woman...if she could help the stranger pooja then she wudnt really have a probelm with trisha. yes vipul betrayed her but he's gone now and she has forgiven him. trisha isnt responsible for what he did and shubha undestands that.
yes trisha will definitely try to create problems for the joshis but i think finally she will get along well with shubha and make her peace with her.
actually from what ive seen of trisha it seems like she didnt like vipul much. she understood that her mom was more or less a mistress to her father and he spent most of his time with shubha and her children. she resents him for that. so all her hippie look is prolly some sorta rebellion to get back at vipul. afterall shubha too was surprised to see trisha in such a get up.
so both shubha and trisha are in the same boat. betryaed by people who are now gone and paying for their sins.

Will Shubha be able to cope with Trisha's rude behavior? It might be difficult for her but I think she is mature & patient enough to cope - there might be one big blow up between them after a few days of stepping on eggshells, things might calm down after that.

Will Vinny set Trisha straight? Vinny is sensible like his mother & he will treat Trisha with kindness but only up to a certain point. He might snap & try to put her in her place eventually.

Will Trisha do her absolute best to embarass the Joshi's in any way possible? Absolutely, she is there for revenge only.

Will Trisha try to avenge her mother's death? [For Unknown Reasons.] She might just try to make everyone's lives miserable simply because they got what she always wanted but never had.

It was shown that Trisha is upset with all the love Vasu has gotten from Vipul. How will Shubha handle this situation? I think Shubha will try to be the sort of mother to Trisha that her own mother wasn't or couldn't be. She will try to give her the love, care, attention & nurturing that she needs to set her straight. Trisha is the way she is only because deep down inside, she is crying for attention.

@ Isha - Maybe, but a show like Ladies Special wouldn't showcase stuff like that. I think this Trisha is the real Trisha. Either way, her outfits are different from what we normally see on tv.

yeah i agree...vinny is a really cool character. first of all i liked the way he pataoed vasu to come back to be with them when trisha arrives. then yesterday i liked how he understood what shobha said abt trisha's state of mind. also it seems that trisha is the most civil to him. lol!
i told you trisha cannot get under the skin of a cool cucumber character like him.

I enjoyed yesterday episode - Vinny was good in the way he responded to Trisha & Vasu was her usual irritating self! I don't think that Trisha is wrong in the way she is behaving with the Joshis...remember how Vipul has left behind quite a bit of financial debt? In trying to provide for both families, he fell short & Trisha got the raw end of the deal...she is justified in feeling the way she does...by the way, she looks much younger than 24.

There's a spoiler/brief update up for yesterday. I can't really remember what happens in the preview -- basically Geeti has a flashback where as blood is pouring out of Jassi's head. [He hit his head on a huge rock.]
