Chapter Fourteen
First off, great UD...thoroughly enjoyed it...Thank you. As you can tell it was brief. I have a soft spot for kids...so I find stories with em so adorable... LOL Broody? ;P
All of what was his fault...? That is a very vague way to put things! What's she stuck in the middle of...besides the obvious...? Your question shall be answered. But not outright. Let's not forget, Dutta has a habit of blaming himself for a number of thiings in his life. SOmetimes rightly so. But often he seems to have a one track mind and thinks it was his doing. I'm thinking as to this particular mess...yes he is to blame. BUT PARTLY. As to what he thinks he's to blame for, well to that, I shall let you be the judge once you've read the next update.

So cute na? 😆😛 OMG I absolutely loathed that catchphrase. Everytime she'd say it I wanted to punch her in the face. Urgh. But to be fair, there are worse much worse sayings that are thrown around on TV, so really I shouldn't be so harsh.
I do love to see that Dutta kept to his promise to be a part of his sister's life.I could have left it at the convo they had in Scotland, and told you yes they did get along. But I wanted to actually show it, because while a lot has been said about their life over the years (ergo the time jumping device) we don't really garner much about their present life: the one in which they are not together. So I wanted that scene to point out that Dutta indeed does have a support network.
He even made peace with his BIL!! Yes, I actually had a whole scene in mind where the two watch a match together at Roops' place, with her sat in between trying to make small talk. When she'd fail she would enlist the help of Baji. It was very testosterone filled and majorly awkward. But in the end, other than humour it would have added nothing, so I took it out.
And the easy teasing relationship between siblings is sweet and shows how far they've truly come. That's probably my personal experiences feeding into the story. I can be both their best friend and worst enemy when it comes to my siblings LOL
And bonus, it's easy to see that he does share his life with her...she knows a lot...more than we all do that's for sure. Hmmph🤓. And a scooby snack for you for using that smiley!!!! (I'd say points to gryffindor-you'd be in that house if you were sorted or possibly Ravenclaw, but alas my friend you haven't read HP, so I have to make do with a childhood cartoon!) Besides how cute were Sarah Michelle Geller and Freddie Prinze Jnr as Daphne and Fred? (One of the cutest Hollywood couples!)

I do encourage he pursue the future he wants, especially considering fate seems to be paving the way for them to find each other (finally and permanently?) Fate has had a massive part to play in their life...they shall discuss that. In fact there is a part coming up where this will be major. SO I'm not going to say more. But yes as to finally and permanently? All things come to an end? But not everyone get's their happy ending. ... cryptic much? < Also what a depressing thought.
What 'right thing" is Dutta doing..Let's not forget he thinks its right. You and I may not necessarily agree with him, when what he's just done comes to light

but for me...I'm more interested in the situation surrounding how and when those words initially popped up! Just like I hoped you would be. Something tells me that Naku is extremely crafty, she opens up the conversation with telling him, he's right. As though she already praises him so that when it comes down to discussing what went down, she can persuade him into siding with her. Well either that, or she's just done with it all. Sick and tired of all the chasing. It is now or never. Her Carpe Diem.
I have to say I love how casual their meets are...how easily they fall right into the moment despite the time that's lapsed. That's their biggest thing. They have this ability to pause the world around them and pick up where they left off.
Eager to find out more...continue soon!! I shall try my best. I generally start writing out the next passages in my head just as I'm about to drift off to sleep. At that point I think "Great Naila, that's witty use that next," But by the time I wake up, it's gone. LOL.
