Chapter Eleven: Riddle me this
As if there isn't enough riddles in this story to find answers for! 😛 LOL That is exactly why I named the title of the chapter that. It was my tongue in cheek humour haha. So glad you picked up on it! ;)

Well Naila! Let me start off by saying this was quite an UD. And we're still left with many loose and even more questions! I did warn you! LOL. Trust me all of the loose ends and lingering questions are linked in some way or another. For example, I know how it seemed like a shock revelation in the last two chapters that Dutta got married, but I did indirectly already tell you that in Chapter one ;)

Guess all I'm trying to say is read between the lines, you may already have a lot of the answers to some burning questions...as to which questions, well I shall leave you to work that out yourself Patrick Jane ;)

It's a sign. Bhaag, Nakusha! Bhaag! You tell her Daya..although she does pay heed to your advice...albeit two years later ;) Sheesh I mean the world is seriously coming together to tell her something "The thread may be stretched but it can never break. They are destined lovers let's not forget" ;) and I'd just like to know what was going on in her pretty head when she made it as far as her wedding day *shakes head* cause we all know where this story started! Yes something must have happened which may have led to believe that this is it. This is her life she is resigned to be mrs Jerk. SIDE NOTE: I'm rather amused how no-one has yet pointed out that I have deliberately kept the Jerk's name out of the story. Nowhere is he mentioned by name...hmmm

But it's a little comfort to know she was panicked knowing what was coming when her Jerk got down on one knee. And I suspect (only because you mentioned neither she nor the stranger saw paid any attention to the other) that perhaps the stranger isn't really a stranger but rather her stranger. [I feel a Friends moment here 😆] They don't know, that we know, that they know, that we know they don't know... LOL> I've given myself a headache trying to get that line right and even so I feel it may be wrong. LMAO.

Alright, three hours ago...she was in the bathroom trying to escape the man SHE agreed to accompany. Indeed while he may have charmed her into it. IT WAS and shall remain her decision to accompany him!

Honestly (side note here) if you end it with someone, wouldn't you avoid things like being a plus one'. I mean seriously. Its one thing to say okay let's have a coffee to say we can still be friends. But being a date to a wedding? I'm just saying :P AND I am glad you are just saying. Indeed it was a weird thing for her to do. Especially since she broke it off. But she has suddenly been bombarded with affection and for someone who has been 'left alone' most her life maybe that new sense of attention somewhere deep down feels nice. At the end of the day we are human beings who crave love, care and attention and often a misguided sense of that can create false security. A security that charming people know how to exploit well...well y'know I'm just saying ;)

So no need to be surprised that he'd try to woo her. Maybe his ego's wounded from the breakup and he needs to prove he's still got it...'cause I don't believe for a second he actually misses her or loves her. I mean seriously, the man barely paid her any attention.There is a hidden agenda on his part, but for now, it's not something to dwell on :)

Hmm, Priya? Baathi jali? I'm glad. Wasn't that Dutta's prospective bride long ago?? Hmm,You know, if my memory is correct...Nakusha's conversation with Dutta where she presents his situation from the other girl's shoes (when he refused marriage that first time) was important...in that Dutta realized a few things...not only that you mentioned that this conversation was significant...I am wondering whether his present situation (being married) has something to do with things realized from that conversation...??? Everything seems connected huh? ;) Psst I feel so drunk on power haha. I want to scream and shout and tell you what it is, but where is the fun in that???? Now I know the next question will be: IS Priya, Mrs D. Patil? Well that is one query I can answer, and simply, no. Yes she is at the wedding too: let's not forget these families are all connected (the Patils, Sharma's, Agnihothri's (Roops in laws) and the Rao's) SO yes she would be in attendance, but after the 'baistee' the Sharma's felt from being rejected by a 'ruffian' (Yes I feel that is how they would have described Dutta lol) there is no way Priya would marry Dutta.)

"I'm Roop by the way. It was lovely to finally meet you!" < Uhmm finally ? So she knows about Nakusha? You picked up on the key word!!!! now if only nakusha had too. Indeed Roops seems to be under the impression that she knows Naku. However, if you recall not once did Naku tell Roops her name. Nor did Roops ask. She merely assumed who this kind woman was helping her out. So I put it to you: Roops thinks she knows who she is talking to, but does she really?

But at last, she finally figure out just whose wedding she was at. I'm telling you the world is trying to tell them something 😛😉 The whole universe is pushing them together: but really how many chances do we get?

But her joy in knowing he's here. I assume it is here that something big also happens. Sending them in opposite directions. Of course, we're still left with the puzzle of Dutta's wife and the reasons that is even the case... YEs yes and yes to all of that!

Dutta's wife seems to have become the big question here: at this point all I can say is that, while all shall be revealled. Other more pressing matters need to be addressed before I can unveil this mystery lady.

2014...back to the present:
And here are two people who should really get talking and clearing the air who keep dancing around topics. Which is interesting considering how open and comfortable with each other they are otherwise. They do that a lot, part of me wonders if it is because they 'unknowingly' try to live out a relationship in the brief time they have together: Thailand: they covered their past and inner demons, Australia: they caught up and indirectly revealled how they mutually found the other attractive, now Scotland: ... you shall see.

Him being stubborn about not calling her Rosie only piques my curiosity further on what happened that last time they met. When the person you love the most breaks your trust-unintentionally-even then it hurts a lot. Safe to say both will do that to each other. It's going to hurt. Harsh words will be exchanged. But in what capacity? Now that would be telling and I already fear I have told you tooo much!!!!

Oh they are soo attracted to each other and yet they keep withdrawing from the feelings...Withdrawing being the precise problem.

Oh, if only you knew Rosie' Dutta thought looking at his ring.< Perhaps Dutta you should enlighten us all! HAHA I love messing with all of you ;)

His Rosie. < how great of him to recognize it...silently *rolls eyes* Again, withdrawing.

Chal, that was a very good UD...even though the questions I want answered are still left up in the air. But I hope you UD soon! I'm actually working on it now, trying to figure out how many more chapters are left, as you can probably guess it's coming to an end now.

Like I said to Daya, the human mind is complex. The human heart is even more complicated. The only insight I can provide is that, Naku enjoys the attention she is receiving somewhere deep down. She has never had that her whole life, it's new and I can imagine how lovely it must be. Let's not forget, despite all his flaws, the Jerk is actually being affectionate and paying attention. Now as to whether his motives are genuine or not is a debate for another day. But in the meantime I can understand why Naku fell for it all again! ;) Hope that helps

Naku told Dutta her story, but only a part of it. after yrs it was used by dutta..Yes, recall her reaction in Phuket to when he first used it. Does her shock make sense now? .naku deserves happiness ...at least she ran away from wedding...LOL Runaway bride FTW dutta is still caught in what...past relation...liked a lot .pls ud soon HMm very observant. You are working two steps ahead already. Keep that in mind dear when you read the next chapter :)
