Loved the ud...the fight of dutta between his mind & heart so very well written...he rules from heart...his anger melted to some extended...sharing something with total stranger naku at present is for him

Haldi ko tukhra kar chalo parathe ko kaha liye...😆he noticed her scar...too...he asked naku to join him...it was too touching for so was for reader she always got to eat last...u r too good with emotion

Morey creep will never improve...dutta doesn't allow wht is his so goes for naku...

Ahh.. the ready innocence and acceptance of a child.. annay is unaffected by this new addition, if at all it's all positive! it was instant great interaction with this ummmh" mammi".

Dutta, however gives off the I am not ready for marriage message.. be it due to some past heart ache. But what gets me is the blas attitude that it was a choice he made in sane mind..

I suspect the issue with him is the why he decided to play knight in shining armour? what was the compulsion? that's what he needs to grapple with..

As a person he can see the implications of marriage, the changes and adjustments two people ..in this case strangers have to make..

In the Dutta's ordinary, dressing up, his shower scene you have rather simply yet credibly brought out the nitty gritty of just married life! I thought the hair around the bar of soap was such a brilliant example of a simple yet significant act when sharing personalized areas like one's bath.. how one tends to react in daily life situations! Well described.. ummh now waiting for the bath plughole to be blocked by a bunch of her long hairs... haaah! he will probably get another on suite made!

I think Naku is unaware that she is under scrutiny by the great don! otherwise she would have perhaps left the area clean for the next person .. him! or she might have thought the servants would give the bath a clean over too? poor girl..

But using his towel was a bit much.. or does she think marriage means you share each other's stuff.. everything.. aamaaazing.. her simplicity is quite endearing..

Now for him it's, crystal clear, marriage is not about sharing one's space on the bed only, it's tackling day to living with another being ..literally giving up one's independence and this man is not good at sharing..

Nothing like a hot shower therapy! clears the cobwebs of the mind! Dutta begins to get the why of the marriage? aspect clarified.. the shower sequence was vividly described and relaxing to read! Almost had a second shower myself!

Dutta confronting first then evaluating decision he took of marrying her..and neatly finding her unworthy of his scowl throws a new light on their relationship.

Then come the justifications that humans give to ward of blame that falls upon them.. Dutta too presents his past, but is sensitive to find him funnily protective of Nakusha! and sharply evaluates his own behaviour..sometimes, simple situations can make one see reason, provided one allows them to..

Dutta almost did! but not without blaming himself. However he understandably regrets but decides to live by his honourable decision of sticking by his marriage, leaving it to time.. now this sounds reasonable.. Rose this complete section was a joy to read.. thanks.

Dutta refusing her emollient for his wounds was a symbolic scene, Dutta also disallowing Naku further right over his soul...his refusing tilak upon himself.. shows signs of some grudge towards the gods.. common with humans if things don't go their way!

Naku fits into her wifely duties of giving service to the family.. expected from a woman.. shower care upon the males! Her efforts are unexpectedly rewarded.. included to share the meal.. such a small yet a significant move extended by the hard don.. but he is humane within.. her scar is noticed by the child.. mystery .. did Dutta notice it too?

Loved the business related scene between Dutta and Morey.. more of Dutta's honour is revealed as Morey casts his evil eye on Dutta's woman.. no one does it and gets away with it! unscathed!
