To me Its not as if naku has shades of grey character, its all about her inability to take reasoned judgements. She fails as a friend, soulmate, as a trusted loyal confidante. Dutta had come to trust naku,s input so kuch. But then was he right in doin so im wondering now???😕 true, that's why he chose supriya over her.. if you ask me , dutta should have accepted his first love Seema when she nurses him from his blindness.. naku was blind and she made Dutta blind too.

I have a problem in thinking that any right intentioned individual like naku despite her upbringing would come to trust supriya n ravi., 😕 I see it more as a flawed portrayal of naku,s character especially when she was shown to posess such profound knowledge of love, life, healing, etc.. How can naku expect any woman in luv with one man be faithful to another?? Its beyond reasoning for me. in my opinion naku saved supriya and Ravi from death.. she gave supriya a way out .. marriage or death for sure.

The only test with matters to heart is to keep oneself in similar position, we are bound to find our answers. Babi did give the perfect analogy, if one adds salt to milk its irreversible then naku is uneasy when dutta makes known his aversion to people who cheat, yet she decides to just do what is not expected of her 😲 When it mattered the most naku seems to fail dutta. Dutta will realize Naku is not right match for him..

Sorry Naku fans but isnt she just being plain stupid and acting the typical sacrificing woman, well i cant say bahu as she's not one yet. If Supriya wanted to run away with Ravi then why didnt she just let her go, dont like Ravi though 😡
she saves supriya and ravi from dutta's wrath.. maar deta unko ..
Now when Dutta was talking to Baji about how Supriya understands him and the others were listening, wasnt he talking more of how Naku understands him but not realising himself. Am i making sense? 🤔
no supriya ke baat kerta tha.. naku never understood him , she just wanted to be the hero of Ltl1.. the story was based on girl from basti.. pity naku has a contender for no 1 postion.. KALA!
As for Kala, well shes as conniving on the inside as she's sweet on the outside. Well at least shes helping Supriya and Ravi but its all for her own benefit but the dodos dont realise this.
I like Kala, very focussed on her task.. familial relationships don't matter to her and deter her in achieving her goal
When does this Supriya track end.

LTL Written Update

Episode ~79

15th April 2010

Patil Nivas

The ladies of the house gather around Bappa's statue for yet another pre-nuptial ceremony .Babi , like a faithful servant fusses and remarks, Aye Sahib you haven't sat down anything since morning. Aye says, there no time for that... and where is Naku has she served breakfast to Supriya ? Babi reminds her that till puja is not completed , Supriya is meant to fast. Aye admits her short memory. Naku turns up and Aye Sahib bids her to check if Supriya is ready. Kala reminds every one Roops has already gone to call her down , to Naku, she says you go and see to tea.

Roop stands at the landing of the main stair case and shouts , ensures every one's attentionis drawn, as her eldest sister had instructed her to do. Kala Tai ! Leela Tai ! Aye Sahib! she yells vahini is not in her room!. all are in shock. Alarmed by cries, Baji and Sudarshan also turn up. Naku is horrified. Kala calms Roops and says, why are you so upset? she is bound to be around. Roops cries, she has checked everywhere! but there is no sign of her ..in her room or in any other room .All are shocked. Kala traipses in from the side...the men folk exchanged glances much puzzled. Baji asks if she had checked Bhau's room? A hysterical Roops says she has checked there too but Vahini was not to be found there either! Aye complains, yesterday she had told her not go anywhere on her own.. Supriya's Aye says, she'll look too. Kala suggests, do you think she might have gone to the mandir like she did before. Sudarshan says, that's not possible had she gone out, the guards would have known.Naku looks extremely worried. Leela asks Supriya's parents if they were told anything? but they too didn't have an answer about there daughters' whereabouts . Sudarshan suggests to every one stay calm , he'll check and Baji and him leave. Kala looks at people around and waits for more chaos .. Naku looks very worried...she thinks why did she trust Supriya ? and leave her alone.. oh Bappa what will happen now.? she wonders.

Baji and Sudarshan return from the first floor, their heads hung low. Naku asks Baji did you find her? and he replies no. Kala looks content.Naku suddenly blurts , she's runaway! Supriya's mother along with others is alarmed... Naku continues.. she runaway from her marriage! people look to Naku accusingly. Babi goes to her side in mood, what are you saying! Aye Sahib chides, Naku be quiet! don't say another word! I don't want negative talk!

Dutta suddenly appears on the landing balcony of the big staircase. He looks down , all are worried, his mother weeping... and he asks, what's happning down there? his mother looks up to him worried...all eyes turn up to him. Sudarshan discloses, Bhau vahini is nowhere . Kala looks at him expectanly.. waiting for him to have a breakdown. Sudarshan continues , no one knows where she is?. Dutta growls ,what rubbish is this!. Sudarshan lowers his head. Roops pipes up courage and says, Bhau vahini has runaway!.. Kala waits to see his reaction. He repeats, she's runaway? Roops says yes Bhau! Kala sniggers. Dutta says.. good she's run off before the wedding, good riddance! you must have done something? .. Roops looks at Kala.. and then says no Bhau!, in a fluster. Dutta calmly says your vahini is right here and he moves out of the way and Supriya emerges from behind him! Kala is shocked like everyone else.. to see Supriya by Dutta's side. Supriya looks down at Naku and gives her a little smile, and Naku too smiles back in great relief. Kala muses baffled, what is Supriya doing here? I helped her to elope yesterday?

Dutta comes down the stairs, and Supriya follows behind him.. till both smiling come and join the much relieved family members downstairs. Supriya apologises to Aye Sahib ... and Aye sahib kisses her forhead, Dutta explains, it's not her fault but his entirely..she was on the terrace, a puzzled Kala asks, what were you doing at the terrace? Dutta defends Supriya , she had gone to worship the rising sun. I too came out on the terrace to get some fresh air, and we both got talking... how time slipped away we didn't realize.. Kala says , but vahini you nearly killed me! I mean you gave every one such a fright! going to the terrace, doing puja was it that important? Aye Sahib says in mock severity , Supriya if you repeat this again , I'll turn into a tough mother in law and torture you ! everyone smiles, Aye Sahib then explains, that first of all we will bathe Dutta then afterwards we'll all head for the old well.. Supriya nods and then goes towards Naku and whispers ,Naku don't worry , I'll not leave him now.. Kala wonders why Supriya is talking to Naku? she gets to them in a hurry and hisses, vahini you nearly frightened us to death! come now let me get you ready!.. Naku says, I'll help you too . Kala firmly says, no Nakuska! I mean what are you going to do between two SIL's, you go do something else... Baji goes to Dutta's side and says, Bhau have to talk to you about financial matters...and they leave. Naku watches Kala and Supriya going up the stairs. Baji and Dutta talk .. Dutta notices Naku, looking up at the stairs on vigil. He calls out , Naku where are you going?. Baji says , let her go Bhau, as it is vahini's body guard has gone, so she's acting as vahini's body guard.. hey Naku! keep it up yells Baji . Dutta calls her with his hand.. why aren't you ready? you'll come out with us looking like this? it's my wedding Naku , this will not do, you come up me , have to show you something, come come,.. he urges and Dutta , Baji and Naku go to his room. He shows her jewellery boxes, and opens each one before her, jewellery for his sisters, for his and supriya's mother.. he says he got one for Supriya too, he has kept it separate, it's special. He shows her two tiny boxes and opens them.. one a silver pendant and chain , the other a gold chain and locket and asks her to choose one out of the two. She says you choose ,he does, the gold one and puts it in her palm, and says he hopes she will wear it for his wedding... she says she will and then she looks at the gold locket in her hand.. Baji observes her face keenly..

Naku then turns and leaves. Baji turns to Bhau .. and says , Bhau you gave Naku a gift .. good you did, she's a nice girl.. isn't that so? Dutta replies I know what's new about that? Baji says there's nothing new, but what if she takes it the wrong way? Dutta questions what do you mean?.. Baji says, since many days I felt.. but didn't say anything, but today when you give her a gift I looked at her eyes, and felt that our Naku loves you!.. Dutta has a unconvinced expression.. episode ends. Hamlet53 ~ 14. 12.13

The episodes comprises of surprise elements. Some pleasant , like Supriya being traced, and groom and bride in conversation on the terrace. Naku's great relief at finding out her nightmare has not proved to be true. Naku given expensive present by Dutta .

However the unpleasant surprise has to be what Kala receives .. and her brother upon Baji's words..

Naku is beginning to crack up under her guilt of withholding information from Dutta, that Supriya plans to abscond with her lover. Or is it simply a situation where only Naku is brave enough to say out aloud what every one fears?

The episode also marks yet another scene between Dutta and Baji and the maid. Baji as usual is making a mountain out of a molehill.. the relief is that for the moment Dutta is clued up enough to dismiss it as another of Baji 's preposterous nonsense .. it's more about Dutta not interested in Naku rather than her in him.. as for him.. Supriya is the love of his life.. Naku .. why Naku is just a maid who is about lucky for him, when he needs to offload emotionally .. nothing more..

One regret regarding the episode.. wish they had shown a scene on Dutta/Supriya conversation on the terrace.. she shyyy ,he staring at her face...
