Nimmi🤗….when I saw the announcement thread, was elated to know that it's something really easy to perform because I remember priya's dare thread, when after churning my brain wheels for hours, days and weeks, all I can come up with was a big "?" but seems you are upto make us do a lot of slogging…..lets see if this time I can come with something or not (leave alone good or bad)😆
Well I know it isn't allowed but I have to admit that be it from the initial infatuation to obsessive compulsion to post isolation effects…it all centered to one man just one man. It was all about HIM. It's a shame to admit that a person like me who claims to be some one really observant about whatever is happening on screen, always had this urge of skipping/muting all those scenes which doesn't featured him, and none of the great actors among the cast (well almost all of them were big names), could stop me being repulsive!!! Such was his charm, such is his charm!! It's only after almost one year after the show….I could think the show as a whole and he being just a part of it. Still sometimes or say most of the times it goes the other way round. Well anyways aapka hokum sar aakhon par…..here's my two cents on the show or saga as it's better known as!!
I can't sequentialise the striking features of the show according to the degree of impact…..that would be a little time taking!!
The Pace…..I know, all of us banged our heads out of frustration which the "chewing gum sessions" have caused us……but that was something which beautified the show, it was like going back to the era of Doordarshan where it was the work which was considered as priority and was treated well and paparazzi came second.
Vijay Krishnan chaturvedi……the director.(we are prohibited to discuss about the actors and the characters ONLY right?😉) well I can go on and on about this man, but to sum it up in brief, I would say that if LTL reminds me of poetry on screen, it's only those part touched by this one person and it's only because of this one person. Each and every shot, the camera angles….too good!!
The next one would be…umm I don't know how to explain it. It's something I felt from the very first promo (when I declared I'm not gonna watch the show) and still unable to word it right. The show had a class, a classic appeal (something which you feel while watching amit jee's Saudagar). The show had a rural background, and it never compromised on the crudeness aspect (It was only twice dutta spoke English words, Sorry and please) yet it was brilliantly sophisticated. It talked about a maid living in slums and a garage mechanic turned rural mafia and yet each and every moment was dignified, and that reminds me that it's probably the only show of the decade which didn't talked about adultery or any illegimate relationship.
One of the most amazing fact almost every character had a role to play without having any sub plots.
The maximum number of cameos and that too most powerful ones
The love story was NATURAL…..the lovey dovey moments always came acrossed as something spontaneous, It always seemed that it happened because it was meant to happen not because it was made to happen!!
Well there are many more but I'll like to take a break and come up with more after the break!!
Segment one:
Hoola people..In this segment we are gonna talk about ... Laagi Tujhse Lagan... the serial. Not actors..Not characters..But..Just the saga. the story of the magical serial called .. Laagi Tujhse Lagan..the goods..the bads..the postives..the negatives..the magic..the madness..the beast..and the beauty...Anything and Everything... that made the saga what it was.. what it will be... remembered as!so what are you waiting for......write away...Laagi Tujhse Lagan... The Serial.
Since discussing actors n characters is prohibited, have adopted nakusha,s intelligent comment with a few changes. Thank you nimmi
the goods..its unique story n the treatment not seen on tv beforethe bads.. sometime the parts were dragged, felt less screen space for lead.the postives..it had tailor made cast, music, background score, action..can go onthe negatives...ltl 1 ended abruptly, can't forgive the channel & makers for the mishandling of the lead,s contract n the eventual butchering of the storyline.the magic.. Rare lead characterisations, mindblowing cameos..the madness.. the hatred of the antogonaist n the luv of the protoganist for each other.the beast..circumstancesand the beauty...no proof required or words..it was heart felt 👏

great post nimmigood ... was aout unconditional love of a mother Babi, love of a woman AS who loved all as a women can her own as well as adopted, she might have loved Dutta because that's what her husband wanted but then there was baji, and then there was the unconditional love of a girl for her sweetheart.bad...was a young boy on the threshold of becomig a man was given such a blow that he couldn't see right from wrong and choose the worse way to earn a living a human can. To kill.positive... she loved him so much that was willing to give her own life for him. it showed many young viewers the meaning of true love, the idea that if u love someone enough u can change someones life for good.negative...gave bad impression with all the negative characters getting away with so much, and the good suffering inspite of their honesty and sweet nature, who wouldn.t even harm a fly.i'll b back!
