Thankyou hammie for the most awaited event for the readers...the two soul mates joined forever ...and seeking blessings of not only their elders but from the readers of this thread too...i loved the way this event was conducted on this thread by everyone ...it made me feel is this couple for real... 😊 correct!every body contributed to the celebrations and I think thats why it comes across a biggie

So the two friends are on their way home after that fun...ermm water bed and duji ...no me not thinking about any dostana at this point.😆..ahmm wese this bachelors party reminds me that woh mene woh i missed for last update and im sorry for that.😳...no excuses chalo me at fault ...acha chalo maaf kar dou apne major ki shaadi ki khushi main plzz ...but its just ramdaan making me exhausted to think and type anything anywhere on forum ...
bas kar purani baat, move on, waise here a stag night is a huge event, many friends, take the groom , to another country for a huge celebration... booze, and bad behaviour are acceptable , as its only he groom and his close male friends... similarliy , the bride has a hen duo where its exactly the same!

Oki so both coming back under the effect of alcohol...what alcohol...they must thank thier stars ke woh naku idhar nahi hai...elsee would have taken thier class ...Its so amazing to see that not only dutta but his family too are so concerned about preprations at nakus house...just to lessen thier burden...and yeah rightly highlighted by you that people now a days find it so difficult to survive and a certain class spends to make thier big events relishable...but the problem arises when even middle class in order to match the standards set by those family try to follow them...thus leaving behind burden of loans for the family ...more so the grooms family too mostly are not supportive in such cases...ahh this is one of the unlikely part of marriges which is very evident in indo-pak weddings...
right, marriages, are expensive events in the asian culture, here I suspect , people also overspend to show their love of their traditions and culture, and yess they do end up with huge loans, for there is no limit to how far one can go... bas paisa hona chahiya... Asian wedding planning is a thriving business here..

Enjoyed the description of dutta naku's haldi and mehndi..loved it how she asked to write his complete name DSP for he finds pride in his complete name ..ohh im sure the color is going to be real dark on her hand for she is for sure loved by her to be husband and his aaye too...and like kala me too loved the reason that a girl doesnt have to work unless the colors fade...thats amazing...😆 haaa haa pata tha thujhe tu ye line pasand ho ge.. ummh kam chor!

.the whole setup was reminding of LTL1 where wesaw dutta wearing white dhoti and everyone applying haldi...both the families over joyed at this event ...baaji of course is my second favourite man ...this guy is the only one participating from both grooms and bride side 😊 actually tu sahi bole warrie, Baji gets a peek into both events, yaad rehe Naku ke saath Baji ka ristha...i would like to see it that way..

from sangeet to mandap...from food to decorations he has done it all...and to win my heart more you added the bit where he asked the decorater to pray for his sisters happiness... yes it was spontaneous.. and need of the hour!

a very well described rituals...letting us know as well how a mahrashtrian wedding is conducted... yes suppose when I was writing about this section , it was also an overall celebration of the varied customs attached to a wedding across the world too!

Finally the big day has come...my ohh my i hope me not dreaming...dutta all set to bring back his naku and this time tied in that lifetime relationship...no more pink room for naku at PN she has to enter the den now :)...baaji im loving how he is with dutta at every step like a true friend/best man ...and you didnt even forgot to mention rehmaan that was so nice specially the mention of g saar...ummh yes major ka batman.. tu bahut maine rekhta hai .. for Dutta... for sure!

ohh naku this has to be the most simplest bride of the world yet the most beautiful one too ...its good she kept it simple for thats what her saab demands ...loved the detail of the mahrashtrian style wedding ... it was something new for me to read about all those rituals...and loved the details of the vows they take to unite as one...very very well written
thanks warrie, personally I too enjoyed reading about a maharashtarian wedding, here i have attended a few gujarati, weddings of colleauges and friends , fascinating events.

Loved this update so much ...this event was the most excited one for me...and the way you kept it in accordance with all the rituals made it even more pure and real...in this one update nakusha has travelled a journey of a lifetime from nakusha to nakusha dutta patil...How beautiful this name sounds now...Perfect!!! well said warrie , touche!

Hammie it was a treat to read the UD as obviously this was a special one with the marriage ceremony. But the beauty was in how well u described each n every ceremony interspersed with bits of info blending beautifully n the touch of marati culture. It was a simple, no nonsense but a happy occasion. thanks brvv, it was my wish that I would keep his wedding rites inclusive only to the area where he born ,bred and educated... ise lye koi bolly wood ke influence nehi show kkiya

Major slightly miffed with the seperation bit yet not ready to break tradition too. The most endearing quality of dutta to me is he is ever conscious of the times, the surroundings n the stark realities of life.. along with ofcourse his childish tantrums... but but have to say not this sic habit of his, puking after every binge session, yeeks! Yedha hain. 😆ohhh come on man yahan, tu its the crwoning glory of a stag duo!throwing up all night and hang ovr the morining after 😆!was chuckling when I was writing his section... touch of UK, ,waise.. they also go squrting every where on the street corners and alley ways ,, but i spared you all this..

So the commander in chief of PN, kala tai is fully in control n the only person who can handle deftly the lion king! The haldi, mehndi taken care of n ohh! baji at every place checkg on arrangements...hmm isske bina kya hoga? Lastly the day ending with the sangeet with all the traditional maharashtrian wedding song n dance numbers...now im sure u wil be adorned as the adopted daughter of Maharashtra with this hammie. haaa yeah right! had to hunt up the numbers though.. my cuz said chikni chameli is a lavni number so include hat in your UD hammie I glared at her and said NO! only local numbers! but glad my authenticity kind of paid off...

The D day finally! major in the land of dera waiting impatiently for the moment, waiting to set his eyes on his beloved, but b4 that there was a host of more rituals ceremonies to cross. Naku as ever keeping in mind her man,s tastes dressed accordingly after a long wait brought to the dias face to face with soon to be the man of her life. Ofcourse now the rituals wil be much easier to bear with one another for co; Aaaw! with the varmala, sindoor n saptapadi the two in the presence n with the blessings of elders n well wishers are bound in the holy matrimony for better or worse indeed! it was tempting not to look at her LTL1, FR , bridal appearance, because mahi /naku looked absolutely stunning... but rejected that look as it didn't seem completely marathi!... so asked daya to fish out the naku face in the siggy

With the remaining customs taken care off to the satisfaction of all n most importantly major, ready to leave to his abode with his most prized possession. Spare a thought to the parents n brother of naku. ummh will keep in mind Brvv

Hmm... it was an unbelievable UD, was more like watching a live Maharashtrian wedding picturised on our fav major n naku replete with all the customs n traditions but never too loud nor dull. Could all along imagine every nuance of all of our fav LTL characters, missed the antics of suds n wise kishore not to forget Parekh. 😕 yesss i know, at the time of writing I was focussed on including the ceremony, so I sort of put them on the back boiler ..will keep in mind though!

Me a satisfied reader at the end, beating all my expectations. Thank you hammie, i can only imagine the hard work uve put with all the research n its no joke to successfully incorporate everything. im not good at words to express myself sufficiently, so take a bow lady. dutta in green reminded of LTL day .the wedding with all the rites & rituals was spectacular .loved everything the decor .menu .guests...yes thought keep Dutta in original LTL1 colours!

finally the bidai was emotional & finally dutta taking his bride nakusha dutta patil home .

bidai.. i kept low profile as the UD was getting long .. aur main focus of UD was to cover as many pre,wedding and wedding rituals as possible..

ahem ahem...first let me shine some light on my little situation of being absent..was sent off to do some creative pieces by my user of course who else...all those wedding cards, bride groom posters were done with and turned out my hammie dearest never booked me a flight ticket down to the wedding...kam finished and dusted of me to ...how rude *hands on hips and glares at hammie* how OYEEE chup kar!
ridiculous...had to get a private plane all the way out here 😆 ok jokes apart we all know none of that, except for the creations and user part, was reality...but was fun while this little dream lasted 😛 tu ah zarra pm mein thujhe neend se main jagon... ek kan ke neeche deliver kar ka..haan me your user tu??

Now that I'm here...let us begin the celebrations...i have absolutely enjoyed this wedding special update...have learned a lot of things from it...like i've already told you ...the wedding is similar yet different by a mile to how we do it...certainly some rituals were interesting to learn of ...i have heard of some before of course but definitely had me intrigued with the reasons, traditions, and rituals...hats off to you mate...definitely job well done...and the most dreaded wedding parts are coming out wonderfully...👏👏⭐️ The descriptions really describe the atmosphere as a whole and the explanations help understand it all the better...of course had the little teasing and banters in between which also help set the mood... thanks pappy , you know how it was , didn't chat to you for days... missed out silly chats..

I swear that tweaking of the ear was something I've never seen or heard i was like hain is this a real ritual 😆 but interesting still...and the clove one was so adorably cute...hain i could picture expression for all ...very well done 😃 made me a happy reader...loved the UD on a whole...not bored at any point only more interested to read and then my bubble popped and the UD ended ...now i have to wait for the next one... yes its true, if you see Devdas, ash tweaks some one's ear in that... but yes these rituals do happen , i think to create comic relief in between o r to lighten things up a bit.
