Quite surprised, till now no body posted this scene:

I remember when I saw the sequence the fact that I've witnessed a scene beautiful to this extent took 5 mins to sink in. I clearly remember my words once the scene got over, "kya kuch itna khoobsurat bhi ho sakta hai?"

Why did Dutta marry Naku...first time?

Dutta is a very deep character and I know he said that it was a punishment to her and himself...but I believe there is more to it...then a punishment.

What did you girls think when you saw the episode first time and then second time again?

Looking forward to read all there opinions you all have...😃

To answer the question: Why did Dutta marry Naku...first time?

Like you have already mentioned that Dutta is a very complex character...so there is no single answer to it. My two cents worth...

When DSP said that marriage was a punishment for Naku's dhokha and also for his stupidity bec failed to see through her friendship ...he actually believed it Well the hot headed gadha that he is.😆

I believe, that Dutta was already slowly falling in love with the simple compassionate girl. He was comfortable with her and had opened his heart out to her (seema and post seema...) If it was love at almost first sight for Naku towards her savior, God and first upright man she had ever met..Dutta was also fascinated by this calm,small yet brave girl...remember the momentary eye lock in the car (first meeting) and his holding her hand and drawing strength, when he was shot.

IMO, Dutta was always thanda and forced in his interaction with Sups. He required the prodding of either a naku, or a baaji ..or bulldozing of AS to do something for her. naku had to tell him to appreciate the karanji and but a tofah for her..which Naku had to select.

No one had to tell him how to behave around naku..good, bad, and trying to be indifferent😆 all came naturally to him.

Thanks Ani for the video. yes, i too agree that i was a great scene. For the first time, we saw Dutta and Madhu getting along. and dutta himself finds similarity between him and his sister. How sweetly he said "Apne bhai ki tarah ziddi bhi hain". And he actually showed concern on her life when he asked her why did she come to India by leaving a more stable life in london. This proves no matter how complicated the relationship is, no matter whose daughter she is,,,,dutta as an elder brother was equally affectionate & responsible toward his sisters.

Hats off to the guy who created this character. 👏

Wow shreya...we must had been sisters in peechle janam. 😆 U noticed my dp? Its exactly the same that u posted. and yes, the first impression was the key. I still remember i was wondering is it an Indian show? So much perfection in terms of storyline and giving such dhaansu intro for the male lead.

Talking about the fan scene, I guess why and how it was shot will ever remain a mystery for us, unless we do a brain mapping of the CVs...lol. As far as Mishal saying yes to the scene is concerned, I guess at the end of the day he's an actor, who is bound to listen to his director. (Well it doesn't mean that one could use it as a excuse, and Mishal has never done that even. He has always given us quality entertainment since LS days.) When a persons works, it's not that every time he/she will have a upper hand at his work place. There are times when one has to bow down. And there is nothing wrong in it, we all face such situations.
For me the fan scene is associated with fear. The moment I saw it, I was dam sure that he won't continue as dutta. He'll leave.

There is no point of digging why he said yes to such a scene. Even in bollywood, we see SRK, HR, AK doing weird scenes which actually don't make sense. We, as an audience can't even imagine what goes on there between directors and actors and how much liberty an actor gets in giving opinions.
and your last line was so true. The way the story finished eventually, Mishal as a sensible person would never wanted to be part of it any longer. Good that he left.
