It was good to see him after a long time, he is very honest is whatever he is doing, which shows on his face. A good interview, there is nothing wrong in taking a long vacation, an actor's life is like that, instead of taking up any role it is better to play memorable roles like Aakash & Datta bhau. Life is quite uncertain may be ther is something really good waiting for him.😊

I think MR is being totally honest about the 6 months contract. Dutta was not that deep or strong character in the beginning. It was MR and the writers that made the character so deep, and strong.

But I do agree…that MR is not telling the whole story…he is being polite and want to leave the rumours and what really/also happened behind.

I do think he wanted to leave…likely
because he had wanted to try out Bollywood...but also because...they where changing the story for a triangle and he was not fond of that.

Just my guess.😃

We should also remember…that many other people…who where also very important part of LTL in the beginning...left before MR.

I think a lot of things was going on…we would likely never know.

Ya, but such decisions cannot be taken by the PH alone, the channel has to approve of it. So I'm wondering how did Colors allow the PH to sign their lead for 6 months?! Not only that, Rohit Bakshi was the initial choice for the role (I still cant understand how can anyone even suggest him for the role!), so Hemal could have easily got anyone to play such a strong character. And even if Hemal wanted MR, I still dont believe Colors easily agreed to the 6 months contract thingy. I still feel there is something more to all this.

Somehow I feel the Rohit Bakshi thing was very premature and he was never really seriously in the running for the role...aise toh Shabbir was also being bandied around as a strong contender for the role back then also...Hemal Thakkar zeroed in on MR for a reason I'd say.

As for the rest...who can really say how things go on with the channel...I agree with Lekz's summary...the first director of the show also left it within six months...so possibly the long term plans were never thought out properly by the channel/PH in general.

@ blue - Thats what I had heard initially - that he was leaving because Pranjal was giving him a tough time because of his ego hassles with MR, as it seems Pranjal wanted to introduce a new male protagonist who would be an equally strong character as Dutta, and MR wasnt too keen to share his space with another male lead, when it wasnt necessary as LTL was doing quite well even without all that. He also understood that PS was doing all this to make things hard for MR, as he dint like him. Anyways, now the verdict is out and MR ----> 👍🏼 & PS ----> 👎🏼.

Yeah Ani looks like he put the past behind and moved on.
Just loved the way he conveyed all that we needed to know so simply.
His smile just brightens your spirits.
Am glad Mishal Raheja and Dutta Shriram Patil came my way.

@ blue - Same here, never felt this way for ANY actor (TV or Bollywood), he has really touched all of us at such a deep level, that even after 6 months of his exit, we still love him and remember him as though he is still here.

I think we really need to thank the DN - The Real Eternal Story thread also for this, as the way the writer is writing and describing every trivial thing, you can just see every scene moving in front of you, so we still feel we are watching LTL like before. She has decribed every nuance of Dutta's and every one else's expressions / scenes / other descriptions so well, that we feel as though the real LTL is not gone and is still there. To be frank, it is the thread bcos of which I still feel excited to come to the forum even today. Really applaud the writer's soulfulness and sincerity to this story (her baby), and the efforts taken by her to keep LTL alive for us since the last 6 months.

I havent seen another soulful actor like MR in my life, neither Hollywood nor Bollywood, and out of all other actors on TV, why did MR itself had to be so elusive, am really tired of missing him and waiting for him . Hope he comes back real soon.

I think they signed him up for 6 months coz colors had no expectations from LTL from the beginning. I mean during those days one of the persons working for colors use to make posts on yeh pyar na hog kam forum and I asked her what are colors expectations from LTL and she said they had no expectations from LTL instead they thought yeh pyar na hoga kam would be a winner from the two shows which started on the same day. Hence, no expectations must have led them to sign him for 6 months coz colors must have thought hey it will be a flop and we will end it just like they did with yeh pyar na hoga kam when it flopped big time.

But seriously somebody needs to get this guy back onscreen I do not know about anybody else but I am certainly getting very bored watching the newbies with their weird expressions and seriously feel like killing some of the female characters I have gotten to know in the past couple of months. 😆

Mishal Raheja jaldi wapas ajao hum yahan bethe hai apke intezar mein coz now atleast I know the guy will leave if the script is ridiculous. I certainly do believe he did not like the script of love-triangle along with his bollywood plans. Yippieee for that I hate love-triangles. 🤢 All a person has to tell me there is a love-triangle and believe me I'll be the first one to quit the show.

@ Anu - apne toh creations bhi bana li Mishal ki. He looks fabulous in your siggy box. 👏

Word Aparna.
I think with the DN Real Eternal story we are living the show that we all fell in love with.
The writer is doing a marvellous job, there is not a scene where I do not imagine and visualize the characters. It was such a well thought out script.
👏👏👏
Hope he really comes back soon.
