Mishal Raheja
Mishal Raheja, who played Dattabhau in Laagi Tujhse Lagan, was shown the door a couple of months ago. The actor's tantrums apparently were the reason for his ouster.
The channel that was adamant on not having Mishal in the show eventually got Shabbir Ahluwalia to play the character at a whopping price. The decision, however, has backfired badly!
The serial that was almost among the top three in terms of Television Rating Points (TRPs) just a few months ago has hit rock bottom at the moment (from 4.5 to 1.6 points). Neither has Shabbir worked as Dattabhau nor did the other track introduced sometime ago, with a new character called Deegu, make any impact. Guess the show has lived its course and there's little now that can be done to resurrect it! We wonder if Mishal is having the last laugh here?
