Aparna,
Firstly...what a celebration post!!!!!!!!!!!
We need another celebration to celebrate just that one😃
I LOVE Karnan (Karan)
Oh!!! For a moment there I thought you had written I LOVE Kannan (Nana)😕
Thank GOD went back and checked again😉😆
YOU: blue - 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
ME: This is proof you agree with my observation and did stareee...
(remembered your Dutta-struck Gecko pose inside the Bathroom😉 😃)
YOU: red
ME: You have yourself touched upon some great points. Its amazing how a tele serial continued on the net can pick our brains thus and force us to think about so many aspects of life. It a huge commentary on the creative genius of the people involved...the writers, script writers, the behind the camera teams, the actors and
THE SPIRIT OF A MUSICAL GENIUS WHO MAKES US DANCE TO EVERY BEAT OF HER BAND...all I tell that person is...Bajate raho...
(Note how she commented on your girl-band? A total BAND-it)
YOU: green
ME: This is one topic that can be discussed till the moment I suddenly realise I,m getting carried to the burial ground!
Its a tale that I guess will remain current and topical in all ages. Its freshness untainted forever. I have not read the original (severely Sanscrit challenged) but read a very acclaimed translation and It mesmerises you because of the Human failings of every character involved, yes Krishna too.
Karan for me is also one of the true Heros of the Epic. Compared to the Pandavas he was a Giant. A man of principles who held on to them even at the face of self obliteration. That takes unthinkable courage. Arjun was the most spoilt brat of the entire lot, Talented yes, but established himself with the help of too many sugar daddies. Also too much of a roadside romeo...(all Six pack SHOULDERS and comparatively much less grey cells 😆😆) I would love to see what Arjun would have become had he not had Krishna by his side. Of the Pandavas I have always been partial to Bhim. He was a pure soul. And you may or may not agree, but Duryodhan, apart from having commited a couple of grave mistakes in life, was a man of substance. But there are a few things in life for which we can never expect redemption. We must pay.
Oh, sorry getting carried away.
YOU: purple
ME: Thanks for agreeing. I absolutely believe that true relations can have no defined parameters.
Aside from the topic yet in a way related to it, there's a song that's close to my heart
and please no hidden meanings attached😃
It goes
Humne dekhi hai un aankhon ki mehakti khushboo
Haath se choo ke isse rishton ka ilzaam na do
Sirf ehsaas hai yeh, rooh se mehsoos karo
Pyar ko pyar hi rehne do, koi naam na do...
YOU: pink ME: Agreed, Damodar did not hide his truth from her...but remember her asking AS..Kya saach mein meri Dad burre thein or words to that effect...
As Bandbajao's said, Damodar's letter to Dutta is a Don to Don talk. I think Madhu never got it that straight from her father.
YOU: mustard yellow - Oye aaja jappi paale ...
ME: here I bow to the genius and shamelessly copy
Jhappi paale 😃 ...
