If you are looking for Shlokas & their translation, try Gita Press Gorakhpur's Bhagvad Gita.
I would like to add a bit to this, currently Dwarkadheesh, is incorporating all these philosophy & deeper insights too,

Jagtap's end I feel was fitting. His soulmate Pakhi was no more. He was waiting to be reunited with her. The only reason he was alive was probably to do this task of uniting Tasha which was destined for him. Once he completed his task he was reunited with Pakhi. To me it was a happy ending to Jagtap.

Epi 360 :_Pg 12
"on the side of wrong, i.e., Dhuryodhana, I still feel he was the perfect man 😍! I loved the way he supported Dharmam. In all face-offs between Karan and Arjun, I have always felt like supporting Karan, as he seemed more righeous to me in individual face-offs. He was more of a self-made man. Arjun always had support in different forms, since the beginning...initially it was his guru Dronacharya who gave him the vardaan that he will always be the BEST, then came Krishna as his savior. But I loved the way Karnan stuck to Duryodhana till the end knowing he was wrong, because he couldnt forget the fact that when he was abandoned by everyone, it was Dhuryodhana who supported him, and built him. He never forgot that till the end, inspite of knowing Pandavas are his brothers. He was the REAL man, according to me"

Uh isnt this blue part written by me 🤔?! Where is Moony's writeup?!?!

Ok I found it, Moony 😃! I remember reading it, but guess I was too busy at that time to actually comment on it . I'll just come back with my reply in a short while 😃. In the mean time, here is the conversation we had on Karan, in case anyone is interested 😆...

Aparna,

Firstly...what a celebration post!!!!!!!!!!!
We need another celebration to celebrate just that one😃

I LOVE Karnan (Karan)
Oh!!! For a moment there I thought you had written I LOVE Kannan (Nana)😕
Thank GOD went back and checked again😉😆

YOU: blue - 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
ME: This is proof you agree with my observation and did stareee...
(remembered your Dutta-struck Gecko pose inside the Bathroom😉 😃)

YOU: red
ME: You have yourself touched upon some great points. Its amazing how a tele serial continued on the net can pick our brains thus and force us to think about so many aspects of life. It a huge commentary on the creative genius of the people involved...the writers, script writers, the behind the camera teams, the actors and
THE SPIRIT OF A MUSICAL GENIUS WHO MAKES US DANCE TO EVERY BEAT OF HER BAND...all I tell that person is...Bajate raho...
(Note how she commented on your girl-band? A total BAND-it)

YOU: green
ME: This is one topic that can be discussed till the moment I suddenly realise I,m getting carried to the burial ground!
Its a tale that I guess will remain current and topical in all ages. Its freshness untainted forever. I have not read the original (severely Sanscrit challenged) but read a very acclaimed translation and It mesmerises you because of the Human failings of every character involved, yes Krishna too.
Karan for me is also one of the true Heros of the Epic. Compared to the Pandavas he was a Giant. A man of principles who held on to them even at the face of self obliteration. That takes unthinkable courage. Arjun was the most spoilt brat of the entire lot, Talented yes, but established himself with the help of too many sugar daddies. Also too much of a roadside romeo...(all Six pack SHOULDERS and comparatively much less grey cells 😆😆) I would love to see what Arjun would have become had he not had Krishna by his side. Of the Pandavas I have always been partial to Bhim. He was a pure soul. And you may or may not agree, but Duryodhan, apart from having commited a couple of grave mistakes in life, was a man of substance. But there are a few things in life for which we can never expect redemption. We must pay.
Oh, sorry getting carried away.

YOU: purple
ME: Thanks for agreeing. I absolutely believe that true relations can have no defined parameters.
Aside from the topic yet in a way related to it, there's a song that's close to my heart
and please no hidden meanings attached😃
It goes

Humne dekhi hai un aankhon ki mehakti khushboo
Haath se choo ke isse rishton ka ilzaam na do
Sirf ehsaas hai yeh, rooh se mehsoos karo
Pyar ko pyar hi rehne do, koi naam na do...

YOU: pink
ME: Agreed, Damodar did not hide his truth from her...but remember her asking AS..Kya saach mein meri Dad burre thein or words to that effect...
As Bandbajao's said, Damodar's letter to Dutta is a Don to Don talk. I think Madhu never got it that straight from her father.

YOU: mustard yellow - Oye aaja jappi paale ...
ME: here I bow to the genius and shamelessly copy
Jhappi paale 😃 ... ...

And yes...A man with a DHOKA fetish 😃

I think Dutta's biggest USP is his human failings...his imperfect perfection

@ blue - Bache bhagwaan ka roop hote hain na, so in that sense also we can say Dutta IS Godly 😳.

I am not a Hindu but I have always found this stuff interesting. 👍🏼

Wow Param, your not a Hindu and you know so much about Mahabharat 😲?! Thats nice 😳. Yes it is really interesting, and one gets to learn a lot about life, deeds, and how to take apt decisions in life, especially when faced with crossroads while taking decisions. Thats why they say, Hinduism is not a religion, but a way of life.

Mahabharata is a tale encompassing several generations...the climax so to say is the battle of Kurukshetra... where as Raj explained seeing his own kith and keen Arjuna lets say got cold feet and refused to fight... That was the time Krishna..(who is an avtaar of Vishnu..one of the divine trinity of Hinduism) gives him a pep talk and helps Arjuna Gather himself...

The pep talk from Krishna is the Bhagwat Gita...😃

So the whole of Gita is a philosophy and not a religious text..
I know many say its the holy book of the Hindus...

give you few eg of the kind of verse that Gita has

'karmanye vadhika raste, Ma phaleshu kadachana;
ma karma phala he tur bhuh, ma te sangvasta karmani'
translated....'Seek to perform your duty, but lay not claim on its fruits. Be you not the producer of the fruits of karma , neither shall you lean towards inaction'...

another verse goes...
Na, jayate, mriatya ba kadachita / Na bthua, vabhita ba na vuha. Aja nityan sashwyaton purana Na hannate hannaman sarire.
translated
this soul never can be borne, never dies. It was not there, is not there & will not be there. This is old, the oldest, and never dies with the death of mortal man

another says..
'jaatasya hi dhruvo mrityuh dhruvam janma mritasya cha
tasmaadaparihaarye arthe na tvam shochitumarhasi'
translated
Death is certain of that which is born. Birth is certain of that which is dead. Therefore, you should not lament over the inevitable.

Hope that didn't sound preachy 😃
Had been looking them up ever since there was word of Ravindra ji's end
Wanted to use then in case he died..now this he is only 'Missing' 😉 didn't have to fall back on the Gita...😃

Very well said, Moony 👏! I want to discuss with you this also, let me just come back 😃!

@ blue - B'cos Kala was already doing the needful 😉! When his aim was also the same as Kala (to see Dutta in pain, and not to kill him off), there was no need for him to be there in the picture. Thats why he reappeared after Kala was destroyed.
