Thanks for the info Ksh.

I don't think people like JP or AD write or work on every single scene themselves. They leave it to their assistants...a team of writers who always remain anonymous. The big-wigs supervise and monitor their work, of course. I'm very much convinced of it myself. I have seen a few scenes of LTL-2 and I was shocked to see AD churning out such pathetic lines...THE AD to whom we had once dedicated a separate thread! How can his writing get sooo affected with the change in the writers' team(something that the media is not aware of)?

Yes, THE AD who is also responsible for the *cough* amazing show that is Uttaran...😆...I honestly don't think we can ever fully bank on any set of writers...who really knows who writes what??? And this process ultimately gets watered down through many layers it seems...like you're saying the writers actually make their ASSISTANTS write for the most part...then who knows how much the directors tamper with what ultimately is brought to them and ofcourse the ultimate say toh is only in the hands of the channel.

LTL-2 is a totally worthless stinking piece of trash and nothing else🤢🤢🤢🤢

Yes...and I think there must be different sets of assistants/writers who write for the same show. I, for one, can never believe that the same person was responsible for the soulful Dutta-Naku convos and the scenes between Supriya-Mawali or Dutta-on-the-fan😕😆

And AD toh is writing for at least a dozen dailies...is that humanly possible Anu? And I most certainly won't give JP the full credit for what LTL was.😊

Exactly, Rosa...I know we all love the glory days of LTL like anything cuz it was such superb writing, direction and ofcourse direction...but I too won't give JP full or most of the credit for it...I somehow feel that a lot of what came alive on screen had to do with the direction of the beginning phase as well as the superb cast of actors...baad mein toh ofcourse the show went through many crappy phases also where we can only presume ki JP ya AD ke pet monkeys were writing the "script"🤔😆...who can REALLY say how MUCH of a writer's real work actually comes through or WHO is the one REALLY writing it or if the director's vision enhances everything. And ofcourse not to forget the ever present CHANNEL interference.

Though I myself know for a fact that the actual work is done by the assitants of writers and directors I'll still give them some credit. For instance I have seen director Siddhart Sengupta's work and I find it pretty good always. One of my friend interacted with him and he did say the actual direction is done mostly by his assitants and he directs the crucial scenes in a show. BUT he also said irrespective of that the command of the show is with him and when something is crap its totally his responsibility.
I guess JP and AD work in a similar fashion. Otherwise why a channel and producer pay a star writer so much if anyways they can hire his assitants for peanuts?

Of course they deserve some credit...their assistants surely work according to their directions...! But they do depend on the assistants to a great extent. That's one of the reasons why their work is so inconsistent...the PH concerned being another factor.

Yes...writing too is a team work...and we can never be sure ki which scene is written by whom. And how much of what we see onscreen was actually intended...

Even JP wouldnt want to be associated with LTL now. Eve if he does take up LTL even he cant save it given how much damage has been done.
