Few days back there was an article which said Jayesh Patil writes for Bade Achche Lagte Hain. That time I said that I dont see his name in the credits for BALH. But from this week onwards I see his name the credits. So its official and we are sure BALH can credit some of its success to JP's writing.

Thanks for the info. Yipeee I just saw his name in the credits. Yeah I really like the characters of Ram and Priya. I must say the guy is a very good writer and then it only gets better when you have talented actors like Ram and Sakshi.

Jayesh Patil's style of writing shows in glimpses with regards to Ram and Priya...I would be interested in knowing about the Gujarati play the show is based on. But that is best left for the BALH forum :) Thanks Ksh.

Anita, where did u hear that BALH is based on Gujarati play?Becaz i don't recollect any gujarati play with this story.😕
I only know that colors show MUKTIBANDHAN is based on Gujarati novel having same name.
But,would love to know which gujarati play is inspiration for BALH😊.
Thanks Ksh ,even i noticed his name in yesteray's episode.

As per the credits the show is based on a play 'Patrani' by Imtiaz Patel. Strangely even this credit is newly added.

'Patrani' by Imtiaz Patel who is a Gujarati playwright, so I presume it would be a Gujarati play, no? 😕 I tried to find out about it, but no luck as such 😆

Btw the creative director of the show is Prashant Bhatt. Prashant used to be the creative director of LTL too starting from the beginning till sometime around March 2010.
