Hemalji's reply onthe TB article of 17th march and yesterday's gives me a bit of hope in a way thinking he is trying to get MR back at least to end the show... am sure the channel cannot continue with LCL beyond sep as its then BB starts... n even if SA comes as Dutta it wd only b for a short period...

So why cant we LTL fans be treated with some decency and get a proper article on the whole saga?

Now you guys might be wondering aaj ise kya ho gaya...but frankly speaking I havent been able to get the whole LTL offscreen saga out of my head till now. The saga started last December with the first news appearing on Hindustan Times that Dutta will exit LTL. That piece which we at that time thought was a rumour turned true in four months time. Since then there were lots of media articles on Dutta's exit but we got nothing officially from anyone related to the show or MR. From gossip section of newspapers we majorly got two stories:
-Mishal had become a tantrum king on the sets and he was fired.-Mishal had got some Bollywood offers and wanted to pursue films and he quit.-Mishal quit as he was unhappy with his renumeration. What's the truth? No one has come out officially on the same. So many questions remain unanswered like:-Was Mishal fired due to tantrums or did he quit as he wanted to pursue films?Mishal fired due to his tantrums...I don't believe that. Not at all! And I am ready to challenge anyone who thinks otherwise about this tantrum bs. Excuse me for the language. Having seen his off- screen interviews including the ones that were LTL related, never once did I get a feeling of him being arrogant or snobbish because of the success he brought to LTL. His cheerfulness, jovial attitude, his humbleness is all that came across as I saw his interviews, repeatedly! I think even if a blind man has to make a basic judgement on him...he would come up with similar stuff that I have mentioned just by listening to his tone and the realistic approach he has towards things and life in general.Did he quit because he wanted to pursue a career in films? I don't see anything wrong in this even if we go by this assumption for now. Everyone sets goals for themselves and wants to work harder to achieve them. So what if he has his Bollywood dreams in mind...does he not have a right to pursue them? He has already proved his potential in LTL over a stretch of almost a year. And if he thinks that the show could only give him so much to experiment with and thought that he needed to move on to bigger projects, then I don't see what is wrong in that. Ex: If I work as a manager in a small company and aim to be a CEO of my own company one day...I will have to look at better job prospects, meet new people, network to achieve that goal of mine...that position in that small company will only be able to provide me with limited resources. I think it's the same thing in his situation. Tellyworld and soaps are small...they can only provide so much to him...he is a person of much greater potential than what the Tellyworld is able to give. We, as an audience, might think it is a selfish thing on his behalf to leave a successful show in the middle because he wants to be in Bollywood...but just because we wish to see him, aren't we being selfish too?-Was Mishal really a tantrum king?No...NO...NOOO...NOOO! 😆-Has Mishal really got some Bollywood films? If he is pursuing films why is there no news on the same? Even Mishal has denied doing any movie in couple of interviews. One interview he has expressed interest in rerturning to TV in another role. So news of him doing films is untrue?I don't know if he has got any Bollywood films or not. But if he has denied the rumors of movie projects himself, shouldn't we take his word for it? And if he is considering returning to TV, then he must have put some thought behind it and might have gotten couple offers...I don't know. From what I have come to realize, he is very open about his work projects, mostly stuff he is currently working on...so if and when there is a confirmed movie project at hand and things have finalized to a greater extent, I am sure he wouldn't mind sharing it with his fans. I mean what good is a half true article, barely, with sources such as 'birdies' and 'khabroos' that make a bharta of bunch of incomplete facts and present it to us...then we end up spending hours here on IF speculating on its validity...so what good is all that? It's better to have confirmed news from people with real names. So we just have to be patient with things...I am sure it will pay off in the future. But on a different note...just because he is a celebrity now...why do we, as an audience, feel the need to know every little detail of his life...what is he doing now? Where is he vacationing or partying? What are his next plans? Does he not have any right to privacy? I feel as a true fan of his, I must and should respect his silence as much as his talks (can't think of a better word here 😆).-Was Mishal approached to return as Dutta again after trps of LTL fell post his exit? If yes why hasnt he returned if he is currently not having any acting job as he himself has said? Why should he return to a workplace where the people of 'higher' authority have no appreciation for his hard-work, are not able to give him due credit for his work...is that too much to ask for? If the environment is not sound and peaceful enough for him to work in with all the political hypocrisy that goes on...how is he suppose/going to concentrate on his work if he ends up getting caught in the mess intentionally or unintentionally. A person can only ignore the 'stuff' to a certain point...everyone reaches their saturation state sooner or later with the crap that goes on behind the screen...and when he thought he had reached that state, he made a wise decision and chose to leave rather than getting more caught up in this dirty showbiz. And he is very unique in the sense that he is not going to work just for the sake of earning money...he is one of those few people who puts lot of thought into his projects...accepts those that are meaningful and will take him a step further in life. With the stuff going on lately with Mr. Genius 'controlling' things...that would not have been possible. So what good was it going to do him returning to the sinking ship...just to save their back. Nope...he shouldn't...one doesn't have to be good all the time...it's alright to be 'selfish' (if that is what we, the audience, would like to call it) once in a while. 😆-Why is Mishal quiet for so long on his reasons for quitting when every media article paints him as a villian? Is it because the articles do hold some truth? As a fan its hurtful that he hasnt bothered to clarify on anything related to LTL and stuck to a 'No comments' stance.I don't think the articles hold complete truth...you know that as much as I do that lot of these statements for the most part are very self-contradictory. Media will always keep their priorities on top (regardless of the type of news and the substance in it) which is to spice things up for more publicity, popularity etc. Staying mum on things has created so much of a fuss regarding his character and what not...can you just imagine what the gossip media might be capable of when they actually get their hands on some information...the 'tor maror' of words they are capable of...they have managed to malign his name in his silence...I can only imagine what the result will be if they are able to get their hands on other news info. There is saying..."Ek chup, sau sukh" meaning, one silent moment can lead to hundred moments of happiness, can save you from lots of troubles...that's what the case is for him...he has maintained his 'No Comment' stance and personally for him that might have been one of the best decisions of his life. If I was in his shoes, I would stick to this old saying as well. When we start worrying about what others are going to say...it becomes a whole mess, one gets caught up in so many things. Duniya ka toh hai kaam tarah tarah kee baatein karna. Kis kis ka muh band karoge. It is better to shut your own mouth and let the duniya think whatever they want to...who cares, right? 😆I understand your and other people's hurtfulness regarding his 'No Comment' stance...but we have to understand that he is an individual with different beliefs and takes on things. If he is not comfortable sharing the off-screen stuff...be it for his own good or to respect the privacy of the situation, the people...why should we indulge on this thought more than we should. We must respect his decision. The other individuals you have mentioned, who have opened up about their work, might be comfortable doing it...MR might be not. Just because others are doing it and then expecting the same from MR...I don't think that's fair/appropriate.So why cant we LTL fans be treated with some decency and get a proper article on the whole saga? Why isnt anyone ready to comment officially? If not that why atleast Mishal is not speaking up for the sake of the fans who have supported him thru all these malicious gossip. There has been so much malicious gossip abt him in the media but I have not a seen a single fan badmouth him here or on facebook. Doesnt he owe us a logical explaination? I am not asking him to badmouth anyone or take names...but atleast say something!Again...I think I have kinda covered these questions above...but would like to just say a few last words. Just because his fans have supported him, why should he be obliged to return the favor. 'Selfless' is the key word here, I believe. He is very thankful for all the support and that should be enough for us.Lastly, all these questions...this is just expecting too much from an entertainment industry in my opinion. I think, we as an audience, are at fault too for having high expectations. The entertainment industry is here to entertain us and I think we should just leave it at that. When we start seeking answers to things like these...it can really hamper with your peace of mind. This is speaking from personal experience. 😆
@Ritu: I just want to know what is his take on things. I am fangirly enuf to buy whatever he says. And I think most of us are. Right now we are on verge of having another actor play Dutta. I dont grudge that as thats how entertainment or any industry works. But personally I want a closure before the forum is inundated with Shabbir fans and we MR fans give way to them.
@Fatty: Frankly speaking I was really irked with Mishal's "No comments" to the TC interview when asked if he was approached to play Dutta again. Couldnt he say a yes or no? I wouldnt have minded either way whether he chose to come back or not. That made me believe he's in this with the rest. And all this a month after 24th March. The issues he had or the people he worked with are not personal. He can speak abt them politely and give us some answers.
@Rama: I second Fatty. Hemalji is a hopeless case. Either he is no longer closely involved with the show. Or else he wants the speculation to stay alive as any publicity is good publicity in the entertainment industry.
@Anu: "this has all been such a long drawn out mentally exhausting drama to watch unfolding" - Bang on!
