I want to do a paragraph by paragraph analysis of this episode, but I'm afraid that I might bore people 😳 Nevertheless, I cannot keep myself from responding to another beautiful episode of LTL (as I waited hours for the update which almost caused me a physical sort of pain) 😛
Dutta's solitary moments have always been one of my favorites of his. When he's just kind of wandering/pacing on his own, musing, hands on his back - and especially that signature din-ta-din-ta theme of his has a powerful impact on me. So I really loved the opening scene as he went upstairs, the issue before him (the missing girls) distracting him a lot. Like Naku said, Dutta has always had immense respect for women. We have already seen, time and again, what he does to people who engage in women trafficking - so it's not a surprise that these missing girls are really troubling him. Dutta Bhau is known for having forbidden women trafficking in his dhanda. The fact that someone dared to break his rule on his land or anywhere near his land - well, it angers him, to put it mildly. This was all evident in episode 311.
In today's episode, I felt that we were shown the more emotional part of his thoughts regarding this issue as he speaks to Naku about it. And beautifully so.
First, I loved how he came in and just watched her fixing their bed. That was a sweet and totally Tasha-in-character moment. I also loved how Naku instantly went to him, and how he involuntarily opened his arms to embrace her. It's like a gravity thing with them. They're pulled toward each other.
Naku was really sweet in this episode. She was being herself fully. The listening and admiring and comforting Naku. I've always loved the way she looks at Dutta. Like he's the most amazing thing she's ever seen. Like he's unearthly beautiful and she cannot take her eyes off him. The way that she looked at him in today's episode just reminded me of the scene in the first jungle track when he had gotten her fruit and sat down on the ground next to her. She just kept staring at him and when he caught her, she just grinned like a big adorable idiot. I loved her so much for that.
It was a really beautiful moment between them in today's episode. The hand-holding, but not like a typical couple - this was a soothing gesture, a calming gesture from Naku to Dutta. It's like she always understands what he needs. Loved the words she spoke to him. Not too much, not too wise, not too heroic. They were just simple words, honest words that was all Naku. She knows that she can give him strength, that when he begins to doubt in himself - she can eliminate the doubt and strenghten him. More than that, I loved how she didn't get all sympathetic and "oh, you killed all those people and now you regret"-ish on him. She doesn't have much knowledge about his dhanda, but what she understands is what he needs. He needs to know that he isn't alone and that those girls gone missing isn't his fault. And that's what she tells him. She doesn't excuse his past, because it's there and it can't be excused. But he's on the right path now. He's trying to do something right and for that she'll stand with him.
Loved Dutta expressing his thoughts on what he has done. I've always wanted the CVs to explore this part of his mind some more. The part that, deep down, craves some kind of redemption for his doings. The part that registered Kala's words on him going to Hell to join his father.
Although I'm sure that Naku won't let that happen 😊 Bappa ke saath special connection hai na uska. She'll negotiate on his behalf 😆
Anyway, rounding it up. Another awesome episode that rocked my world. Can't wait for tomorrow's. The precap was mindblowing. Are people going to blame Dutta if he cannot find the girls fast enough? And once again - what is NS's deal in all this? I doubt that he's positive.
Thank you for updating and God bless. Keep it coming 😳
