I understand your point Tin and personally I don't have any preference either way. 😳 But this poll was set up primarily to figure out what the members want - ideally I'd want everyone to reach a mutual compromise/decision on their own, but in cases such as these where that doesn't seem to happen, I would hope that going with the majority's vote is going to be the fair/democratic way.. Especially since this thread was set to to find out what the members felt, and now to ignore that entirely and set up a contrary procedure would seem a bit anti-climatic.. 😕😳

About the MIDs, I know what you mean. You can never be sure about anyone's identity either way - but you learn to trust them and eventually accept them. In this case however members are being asked to "trust" and "accept" in a very short time span.. And that can be unsettling to say the least. 😳 But personally, the fact that so many members I trust and respect have vouched for the validity of the person is enough for me to have a little faith.. That's enough for ME, but then that's just me.. 😳 And really that's all we can ask for at the end of the day, to form our own personal opinions without forcing anyone or being forced. Some trust this member, others done.. And that's okay. It's just something we're going to have to come to terms with as a forum.. 😳😊
