Chapter-1

He was sitting with his good for nothing friends lazily.wasting the evening in non profitable talks...when his eyes quivered at a simply dressed not so attractive girl who was busy distributing some pamphlets of red, green and blue color..he didn't even realize when he was lost into her when he was disturbed by a little kid.who was assisting this girl in her work.

"Please take this pamphlet!" the little kid pleaded when he was being bullied by the gang of boys.

"Hmm so you want us to take this pamphlet huh?" the boys asked the little kid by pulling his tee..

"We are not forcing you to take it. If you don't want to take it...then ignore it.it is simple you see" she came forward, smilingly and pulled the kid with her.

'What does she think of herself..?' a guy stood and was about to go and teach the girl a lesson when a strong arm pulled him back.

'Relax dude! We don't need to think about her, alright!' He raised his eyebrow and shifted his gaze at the girl she was gone he shook his head

After hours of chatting and lounging around with his friends he said... "Ok guys...I got to go...it's already late and mom must be waiting for me...good night guys!' he started walking

'Hey dude...you are coming tomorrow, right?' asked one of his friends...

'Where to?' he asked sliding his hands in his pockets.

'To the betting, you know what I am talking?' his friend asked tentatively

'No, I am not coming' he started walking

'But, why? You have so much fortune left by your father...what are you going to do with it..you can try and double it by betting on horses...what say?' his friend asked stretching his arms

He stopped in his footsteps...turned and gazed at his friend 'I would rather spend my father's property on myself than spending on something which I am not sure of Now let me go and you guys have fun with your betting. Good night!' he nodded his head

He reached home he waited outside for sometime, then he opened the door slowly as he heard someone's voice..he peeped in

'What are you doing standing there son? Don't worry you have come to the right house come in it's just a guest..' his mother said jokingly

'Mom? I just heard someone's voice, I thought it must be Doc so thought of running away before he could see me'..he chuckled

'Dutta, stop now'

Until then the girl who came to invite stood up to take a leave."Ok ma'am..i have to go its late...please come to our event.i would be obliged.Good night ma'am..' she turned to face this guy whom she encountered few hours back.

'Whoa.so you have come to distribute those colorful pamphlets here as well? Interesting" he raised his eyebrow.

'Duttathis is Nakusha.she works for an NGO and she is organizing a charitable event she has come to invite us.AND we are going' she said with a stern look and voice

'Ok ma'am good night again.' She smiled at her and came close to Dutta and whispered in his ears 'Well, you can bring your friends as well.' She smiled sarcastically.

Wait, you can't go alone it's too late' said Shakuntala Patil..she looked at Dutta..."Go son.drop her.' She nodded at a bewildered Dutta...he didn't want to drop her but it was his mother's order and he had to follow her 'Ok' he turned towards Nakusha and showed her the way asking her to walk in front...they both came out of the house she stopped and turned to face him.."It's ok...you don't have to worry.I can go by me thanks. And goodnight' she nodded and stepped forward when she heard a simple OK from him..

She was walking alone on the path while Dutta just allowed her to go alone...as she wanted to some time later when she covered half the distance she saw a man of average age coming towards her.by the look of his walk it was clear that he was drunk..she started sweating..as the man started getting closer to her she cursed herself for not allowing Dutta to drop her home.she increased her speed..she froze when the guy was inches apart from her..she wanted to shout but her voice was not supporting her..just then a voice came from behind."Let her go! She is with me' he came forward.and pushed the guy back...'Chill dude.the girl is with me' she held her hand.the drunk guy was afraid to even say anything he started walking backwards.
