niki some pepl r saying ki mr dutta charct se bore ho gaya hai to ho sakata hai ki wo wahi kidnapper ban ke aye jisane dutta ko kidnapped/mara hai agar aisa hai to i dont mind humara mr to rahega nayi love story suru hogi aur wese bhi cvs ne ab tak declared nahi kiya hai mr ke bare me. aur YMGGK (zee tvs show) aisa he track chal raha hai. i hope aisa he ho. pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee😊😊😊 what r ur opinion about this?😊

I love the character, Dutta and I am fida over Mishal's acting skills. For me only Mishal can be Dutta.

However I would love to see Mishal in various other challenging roles too.

I must confess that though Mishal is the only Dutta for me, not only because he is the original but that man has put his 200% behind the character till the script started faltering and I am happy he chose to leave because it is best we have good memories of his character, the role he played....before it gets butchered and severed and it becomes a caricature ....I have seen what happened to Jai Walia in KS...

Hoping to see MR in a different show...

I would have to agree with you here Niki...I have always maintained that I love Dutta and not MR but Dutta is where he is because of MR and his prowess in acting...As you rightly put in the last sentence, MR reduced the gap between MR and Dutta for me...I am very thankful to MR for putting life in Dutta and giving a character to us that we got so attached to. He filled a depth in Dutta's character that might not even exist in MR's own personality and thats what makes him a true actor!

Having said that, I cant envision in the wildest of imaginations that how any other actor can even fill his shoes and justify "Dutta". Dutta has become such an iconic character that any potrayal that is not true to his characteristic would be an insult to MR, us and Dutta as such...More than insult, it would be a sin. So, If Dutta comes back without MR, I would watch 2 episodes to assess the new actor (ofcourse with my prejudiced eyes unfortunately) but In all probability the 2nd epi with new actor would be my last.

I was always of the opinion that the actor is never bigger than the character, only very few actors have proved me wrong. MR is definitely one of them, I cant imagine any other actor playing Dutta - just because MR completely defined Dutta for me. The mannerisms, the reactions and even the physical attributes of that character are so well etched now, that its impossible to imagine anyone else play that role.
Another reason, why this iconic character cannot be played by anyone else, is because more than the run of the mill kitchen politics and the so called "ideal" husband, hero material we have witnessed, MR and Dutta together gave us a human element, a flawed personality that is terribly hard to re-create.

Hi Niki,

I completely agree with you...Like MISHAL no one can do justice for DUTTA...Bcoz no one has it in them...MISHAL is an outstanding actor....His expressions are priceless....I have seen few daily soaps where in I haven't seen anybody who is sooooo perfect when it comes to acting....I have seen this guy from days of LOVESTORY.....When ever I listen to the name AKASH, I get picture of MISHAL and When ever I listen DUTTA I get the picture of MISHAL again....😊

I would say I am watching LTL only BCOZ OF MISHAL RAHEJA....And I stand by it....MISHAL IS JUST THE BEST....😊
