Guess its time for some kinda proactive action on our part to highlight this power of the viewers to dump filth in our homes comg of these channels. WE need to learn to say NO to such shows nd channels who promote such unwanted stuff. More of this issue being highlihted in the various social networking sites nd other avenues will defo bring some change. No joking as the recent uprising all over the Arab world owes its success to Twitter nd just see how the fire has caught up.

@Ana: Does is really matter who watches the show now? I mean did we start and continue watching it becuz these 1 m people were watching? So does it matter if they continue or not. Those of us are not comfortable can switch off whenever we want...and we should instead of agonizing over it further. We have lived with this agony for the past 3 months those people didnt. Its time to let go and move on. Why worry any more what they do with the future tracks if MR and Dutta were the sole reasons we watched the show? Lets use the remote! Many channel honchos have fallen wrath to viewers displeasure when they couldnt see the writing on the wall.

I guess it's just hard, Shreya. I mean, I've come to care so much about every character that it's not easy to just ignore that they might butcher Naku's character next, or Baji's, or someone else's for that matter. It's just really hard to let go of something that you've cared about for such a long time. DSP will be in one episode and gone in the next. But as a viewer who care so much about all the character, I'm not going to support Colors anymore - but it saddens me that I'll have to switch it all off from one episode to another.
It's hard.

We are expectating too much from this channel, they don't care for our feelings, since last 4 months we have been posting them, but no official reply, may be they can't read, like BV, even they are illetrate, so our effors are wasted. They want us to see whatever they show & suffer like characters of their show & not utter a word.

I cant watch the show being butchered either...thankfully the butchering hasnt started yet. I plan to change channels before they start the butchering. What I dont see cant pain me. For me Naku and Dutta will live happily ever after from now on with the people who care for them.

Its hard for sure, it will take some time, i started this process [letting go] just when i heard the 1st rumours of MR's exit even tho' i regularly visited the forum, the magic of watchg the show on tv had gone for me as early as Jan. Earlier i would watch even the repeat telecast. I was surprised that MR stayed beyond feb . Learnt a big lesson frm this. But the way colors has treated MR nd the fans has left a bitter taste nd i will do whatever in my capacity to fight such injustices, take this further nd beyond LTL.

What hurts most is not only MR but even we are treated badly by the channel. So here that feeling of hurt is more & that sense of loss is more because of our attachment for the show. Something of our own is made to leave us that hurts the most, Hope they pay for this soon.

In this whole game the writers write...the channel approves the script...the PH shoots the scenes where the whole cast and crew is involved...then the material shot is again reviewed by the channel who again package it and then they air it with the support of advertisers.
But think abt it...despite all these efforts you are the most powerful person-you sit on the couch...pick up the remote and BAM you have switched off all their hard work and 'creativity'. So use ur remote instead of wasting any more emotions on something which no longer deserves them.

Ksh, Yup you are very right...that we are the one who is most powerful...and we make their creativity go down the drain, by one switch "off" button....I have stopped watching LTL. and in the light of new track does not look like i'll ever watch it....And I have already unsubscribed to the colors channel ....

But my question here is...Is this what the audiences want to see....the usual theory of marketing is...supply what the demand is...so is this the filth that the viewers are demanding or are the audiences being told to watch something they don't like....If it is the second scenario then, what should be the behaviour of colors channel called..other than "dictatorial".
