The last time he saw them....

Well it's another Monday again and boy oh boy this forum has been quiet over the weekend! So expectations, expectations! This is my first post as a new topic so bear my Monday morning (acc.to UK time) ramblings 😳 Anyway, all of us are awaiting the day this week, fingers crossed, when Dutta's eyesight returns! So I thought, lets look back to the day when Dutta last saw his beloved Naku and his AS. And yes, it was that scene where Naku calls out 'Saab' and being the magnet Naku is, Dutta is just mesmerized, hypnotized and sent into a trance of some sort.....😳 He turns around and just walks towards her with his face giving very little away as usual, but the mere ACT - synonymous with him as his love calls him again - saying OODLES! What I loved was how he actually LOOKED at Naku for a significant amount of time as she told him she had kept a vrat....which was a little surprising as he had been pretty much avoiding eye contact with her before. We could all see Dutta had well and truly accepted 'defeat' in that sense and just melted....the questioning look in his eyes more about admiring her faith, her determination, her love. Almost indicating to her, 'yes, you've got me well and truly in love with you. I can't bear it now, I need you more than ever.' Then that look to AS again saying, ' how does she do it, that I can never say no?' The turn of the head, the little sigh, and the stubborn thing he was, he was off again. And AS's last words to him, were only to help Dutta and Naku and their r'ship.

And his last little view of Baji? When he told him to jump out of the car and look after AS et al as death breathed down their necks. Even in that moment both friends were only thinking of each other's safety. What a friendship! Duji renuion kab aayaga?! 😆 The dreaded car accident had us all down....but even that was destiny. A journey that has ultimately changed his life, has started to make things crystal clear in terms of his well wishers and his enemies. A car journey that led him to encounter the person who turned his life upside down and sent him into the depths of despair. And how sweet is it that Kala's evil plan collpased and she fell flat on her face again? 😃 Ultimately that little trip to Chaskar has turned out to be quite something! So my lovely people, I have no idea why I wrote this, just felt like saying a few words about the last 'sighting' Dutta had of his loved ones. 😆

Many people thought Dutta's acceptance of Naku after the accident was abrupt. But I dont think it was. When he last saw her...he was already ready to forgive her and move on. Perhaps thats what he would have done he had come back home as planned. He would have made up with Naku. And he did just that the next time he spoke to her.

WORD! That is exactly what I thought! Had it not been for that accident, I think he would have come back and taken that step in embracing her again! Absolutely right! He is just continuing with the act he had perhaps been planning on doing as he had FBs of Naku tying that thread, doing his aarti when he sat in the car.....he was actually in that mind frame of appreciating the effort she was putting in for the safety of his life....which is why he said those lines on Friday....

Neets (sorry don't know your real name... hope you don't mind!) what a wonderful post! You have correctly pointed out everything that I had thought of! Nothing is amiss from your post!

Hey Neets.....i completely loved ur post....and i agree with Ksh and Niki....

yeah dutta has changed behaviour towards nakku from that day when baaji told him that he forced nakku to not to told truth to him and that accident hides that fact.

But sometimes i think he doen't respect her at as i saw a previous episode in which dutta called naku to not to show him his manhoos face it really hurts.but it was in anger so ..

the fact is that he loves her a lot.

Considering that when Kala called Naku Manhoos, dutta said that she was insulting him when she insults Naku.
It was said in anger but very unexpected for me!
Poor Naku!

Dutta's acceptance of Nakku after the accident wasn't what I personally considered abrupt....rather the dialogues in that scene weren't as upto the mark I felt....can't recall in detail now but I remember thinking then that he suddenly started talking a little too suddenly about pyaaaaaaar and all and that exact dialogue wasn't really needed at that point in time.....he was thinking of Nakku.....he suddenly thought of Nakku when he realized how worried everyone at home must be thinking that he's dead, which was a sweet bit.....and then to jump from that to suddenly talking about pyar a little too much in detail....that GRADUALNESS that everyone is talking about vis a vis the blindness now too....lol...yeah that GRADUALNESS of thought flow was missing in that scene.

It's obvious that Dutta had mellowed a lot before the accident also....not that I'm personally very fond of the dhaaga tying scene having been assaulted by it a MILLION times through FBs and I just find the way Nakku SUDDENLY bends to take his aashirwaad seriously hilarious everytime....it so doesn't look convincing the way MV did that bit. And Nakku was a little too much in "Main mahaan patni" mode in that scene too....The idea of the scene was nice....but I never found myself very touched by the actual scene......The jaana jogi de naal OT scene is epic for me everytime.

Anyways, all that aside....now I'm really intrigued to see how they execute the scene when his eyesight comes back and he sees her again after all this time......hope that moment is as touching as we are all expecting.
