Ok now it looks like we r in a boxing ring, but girls chill. The bottomline is that the direction nd the other technical glitches will always be there. We can only laugh about it. Coming to the present topic as to why dutta is not doin or not thinking enuf towards doing something is debatable. So lets cool down nd enjoy the debate. We dont have to get personal or charged up to put down somebody's viewpoint. 😃

@blue: That's exactly the thing that we all sometimes forget.....in LTL-land, it's technically only been 2-3 days.....even though we all feel like we've been watching it for a week😆...even I'm guilty of losing patience sometimes and forgetting that😆

Right now, barring the depression that the blindness brings, otherwise they are showing a very well rounded set of characteristics to Dutta and how he's evolved....he's mellowed towards Nakku and wants to make up for all the times he's shunned her, all the time they had to spend apart, yet at the same time he doesn't lose his edge....it shows in bits like the convo about faith....him thinking about AS, Baaji.....these are all sprinkled into the epi and shouldn't be ignored to draw a broad sweeping conclusion of Dutta now being "lost" as a character.....there are elements of everything if we watch carefully.....only the pace is a bit of an issue, that's all.....

I hope things move next week though.....this jadibooti shouldn't take like another two weeks to work😕😆

@bold : I hope so too, Anu. 😊 Yes, they are dragging the romance phase as it is getting them TRPs...Am not complaining because I love Tasha romance...Have waited for months for this!😆

And to clarify...I am not putting down anyone's viewpoint. Am just voicing my personal opinion. My side of the argument that Dutta is still in character!

@Crystal: LOL I would say it's more like they are dragging the phase of them living in this new house....wouldn't technically call it "romance"....it's more like setting up house.....and they are dragging it to drag the blindness out....everything comes back to the blindness only....lol

LOL...Yeah I call it romance because Dutta is all smiling and talking about pyar vyar..underdstanding etc now....He has never done that before....😆

He has done that before, Crystal....pre-FR during the whole "tu meri zindagi, payal scene, SR night speech etc." phase😆.....you all make it sound like he's NEVER smiled before this😆.....but yes this phase has returned after a long time and it is deffo nice to see him smiling and saying caring things to Nakku :-)

To be honest, Dutta has been living a life of hell ever since that dreaded day he turned to Bhao....yes during all that he acquired power, wealth and a reputation....but beyond all that, he never internally felt at peace and lacked someone to care for him, love him etc etc.....today, ignoring all the reasons for where he is, the circumstances, he is able to EXPERIENCE perhaps a sample of what life could POSSIBLY be as a family man (exclusing his blindness), with a wife....he is far away from all that 'pressure' of having to live up to his name....I think he has every right to enjoy a few moments of this 'freedom' he now has....back at PN, that sense of tranquility (not chilling lol) will not get to him again that quickly....

Also, I think Dutta's main concern is getting his eyesight back...I'm sure in that head of his, he is cooking up many plans.....and try to think about how hard it must be for someone to lose their sight.....he is not in that frame of mind to take ACTION if thats what you are implying...imagine the fear and irritation of not been able to see....he is worried but not letting it show...Dutta seems to be like a retired man...I love the fact he is 'taking a break'....yes his family needs hs help, but the fact that the end product is Dutta a fitter, mature and cool headed guy with Dutta Bhao still intact, is what makes me think, carry on for a few more days 😆 I don't mind, you'll be a better man...my view....hope it made sense.

Has he said 'Thoda sa pyar karaen' before? or Has he taken Nakku into a bear hug on every chance he can get?😆 Yeah he has smiled before but now we know that this smile is here to stay with respect to Nakku!...😍

Oh yeah, he looks like he's retired full time and is just relaxing on a retreat with his lovely wife....if only things could be that simple, haan?😆

I get your point about him finding some moments of tranquility after a lifetime of pain, anguish, bitterness......but there is something to be said about the fact that this phase shouldn't drag on for too long or it WILL get tedious......it's good that Dutta doesn't have the "pressure" as you say of his title and responsibilities hanging over him but his basic honor as a man hinges upon how he takes care of those responsibilities too......they shouldn't keep that in limbo for too long.

And honestly if this phase had come at another time, with his eyesight being fine, I would maybe have been all for dragging it out longer....but the lack of his eyesight doesn't make it AS fun, the fact that his family is in captivity back home doesn't LET this be a totally relaxed phase to enjoy either....funnily enough that eyesight is the very reason that this phase is probably happening in the first place or they'd never get that either.....😆.....what irony.
