I still think that the conversations were jumping from purple-prose confessions to Kala and back to purple-prose confessions whereas DN could've played the scene out with D confessing, then moved on to the topic of Kala and spoken about that issue a bit more.

The above I agree with. There was a lack of flow in the conversation, jumping from 1 thing to another but I concluded it to be a reflection of Dutta's state of mind - a mix of emotions.

The episode was raved about because of the gestures by Tasha. But it wasn't like Mon-Thurs. You cannot let 1 episode take away from the fabulous week it has been. I said it was the poorest episode this week in my post in the EDT- thats because the other days were well and truly EPIC. But it was a fine episode. 😊

Considering that this is a high point in Dutta and Naku's story-line, I find the recent episodes disappointing. What I did love was the dialogues and confrontation between Kala and Dutta and Tasha in the episode where they met. But that and a couple of Tasha moments (like the water moment) are pretty much all I loved.
Mishal's performance, of course, has been amazing as always. God knows why he's wasting such talent on a channel that doesn't remotely appreciate it. But anyways, at least I got to see him act. That's always something to me.
But in the end, those past two months have taken too much out of me. Even this high point hasn't managed to get me high because of carelessness from the CVs and director and editing team. Whatever happens next, I hope they start caring a bit more about this show other than it's TRPs. As much as I love Dutta and LTL, I can't watch it get flushed down the toilet - until I know that it's safe, I won't be watching. And the only way I'll know it's safe is if Mishal stays (even though I'm starting to hope he leaves and the show ends). Because that'll mean he's made sure his character remains strong and that's all that matters to me at this point.

yes elysia I too feel something is missing, i cant put my finger on what exactly it is but I KNOW FOR SURE IT IS ABOUT DUTTA/NAKKU BOND ......... i had to brainstorm what bits made me love them..... was it the coversations that dutta had with koyal nakku; was it the post FR truama they suffered and yet interacted in some form; or did i like the moments of high conflict where the hot headed Dutta ignored her and she him; or were they moments where the drunk dutta raided the kitchen and ate by Nakku's hand , or the sober Dutta who was cold outside but was seething inside....... what was it between them that made me go aaahhh.... now that they are united why am I not excited thats how I wanted to see them always.......... I know now why because I CANT SEEEEE NAKKU THROUGH DUTTA'S EYES ... FOR WHEN DUTTA HAS SEEN NAKKU THROUGH HIS EYES WE HAVE SEEN IT IN NAKKU'S EYES AND THE WHOLE UNIVERSE HAS SEEN IT!!! OH PLEASE GOD MAKE DUTTA'S EYE SIGHT COME BACK ....... WE ARE HAVING BLURRED VISION WE CANT SEE THEM TOGETHER EVEN NOW!! .......... and today DUTTA SAYS HOW MUCH HE WANTS TO SEE HER.................

I dont agree with you Ana today. I think today's episode was abt conversations which was very much needed between Tasha. Only issue was the continuity glitches which was becuz of either poor camera angles/poor editing or bad direction. I cant pinpoint the reason as I am not an expert.
Regarding Dutta I believe that there has been a shift in his personality. The dark brooding Dutta has gone...he has been replaced by a more mellow and content Dutta. I think this change had to come in Dutta. As for certain actions of Dutta which we cant expect from him I am glad they are in some ways keeping it real. A blind man DOES need help irrespective of how brave and noble he is.

Will have to disagree on this one, in a relationship there comes a time where you have to talk things out and discuss your feeling with each other,,, this had to come,, and i would say this is what Tasha fans have been waiting for
@Ksh,, she is correct on ths editing, directing part,, it was not done is the best way.
MR and MV were fantabulos

@kshreya

I agree with this POV. The editing/camera angles/other technicalities (i am no expert in this) leave much scope from improvement. The shot shifts from MR abruptly and pans somewhere else in the middle of a scene-bad editing? This is a has been my peeve re: JMM 2 episodes.

No complaints re: Tasha moments and MR and MV's performances. Loved the scene at the lake side and Dutta's verbalizing his love for Nakku.

Its a fact that Dutta is blind and hence dependent on nakku to a certain extent-- (even though DSP is larger than life in many ways) these limitations are making him react to situations differently now- it is realistic. That's my two cents worth.

last but not the least, the uncertainty about MR's presence till the end LTL is at the back of our minds. I am trying to be positive and enjoy the show but the thought does bother me.

@Red... We call this lack of flow .."the salt Talk"...

It means that in between a very normal conversation, all of a sudden the wife asks...whether the salt was ok in the food...

It happens very often btw conversations....especially between husband and wives...😆.It happens when you have many thing.specially unresolved ones on your mind..

Tasha too, had many thing on their mind...they did not have a normal relationship, though both know of other's love for him/her. They have that on thier mind, plus Dutta's helpnessness and Kala's treachery.

The conversation is bound to go in circle..

So, instead of criticizing the scenes..we should actually say, the have made it look very natural. 😊

Liz, as much as I want to agree with you, I can't. I felt like they made a joke out of D's character today. They gave him such cheesy lines that he had to save them. They were so out of character. Not just him, Naku as well. From the line about her "sambhaling him" to "a woman can endure more than a man" to "I want to bring back a man who is filled with only love".
Look, honestly, I could pick out everything that was out of character and ridicilous and totally proof of carelessness from the director's and CVs side, but I'm tired.
I'm just so tired. And so done.
Dutta's journey was the sole reason I started watching this show. I know him, probably better than I know my sisters or my parents. And I know that today Dutta was only present for very brief moments throughout the episode, because the CVs gave him such cheesy out-of-character lines, it was painful.
I never watched this show for Tasha. I watched it for Dutta and his journey, and a very huge and important part of his journey is Naku (his love-story). Just because they feed us a few sweet moments between them in this episodes doesn't mean I'll ignore what they're doing to his character. LTL, to me, was perfect. Up until February.

👏I know it is risky to say this but I could agree with most parts of your first post in this thread - especially about the characters acting out of their normal behavior.

Also, probably the male fans of Dutta are probably more keen on seeing Dutta's macho side and not used to his musings a la Amitabh Bachhan in film Silsila ("Tum hoti toh kaisa hota...tum hoti toh is baat pe "saab" bolti, tum hoti to oos baat pe"bappa" bolti). Cmon folks, the guy is not romantic, though he has a sexy voice. And there lies his charm. Save that.
Dont make him say "Naku I love you". He can say it even more emphatically without saying it, the kind of "jhund" that he is. That is something more he is likely to do - not say it than say it.

Having said that, let me concede that a lot of LTL fans, especially the female fans (and they are unfairly outnumbering their counter-parts in this forum), must have found this epi as one close to perfection as far as their expectations are concerned.
