mIsHeZ.x: starting off with all the tedious bits..yet all I will say is that the whole story about sia/the old woman and now this shoot track will be revealed in the next chapter so not long to wait. Im not going to string it on for too long I just want a reason for nakusha and dutta to have lots of moments together and this will provide it...as for the tasha..yep well you guys want tasha so you get it ..glad you liked that bit then. Yep theres been a bit going on in my ff…sia..the old woman and now nakushas change back to the dark shade. But all will unfold in the next chapter..promise!!

Chapter 19

As Dutta turns to look at Nakusha's hesitant presence duttas eyes trailed down her figure with a sense of shock. Her face was covered in that dark koyal shade and her expression somewhat smeared in a sense of courage. Duttas eyes began to burn in a sensation of disbelief and anger. She was standing in front of him in such away yet there was no worry on her expression. Just silence yet as dutta looked upon her with a burning frustration in his eyes nakusha became wary of what was to come. As dutta closed the distance between them both..walking closer his eyes examined all details of nakusha's posture, her expression. She looked pretty much the same as he had seen her when leaving the Patil Niwas this morning however the koyal color was the significant change that made dutta blood boil. Baaji's explanation running through his minds..

the thought of nakusha, apologizing to that woman..the thought of her compromising her happiness for him with this reduclase pledge all angered dutta and more so hurt him. stopping close to Nakusha and looking down on her, nakusha could feel the fustration that dutta carried. The anger that was building up and the questions he had.

He said nothing for a second..just watched her with this powerful and stern expression of his. Both nakusha and baaji knew that there would be a word-wind of anger to be faced. Nakusha could feel her husbands distress..not able to look up at his nakusha dreaded this moment and here it was. Scattering her sight on the floor in front of her Nakusha thinks of a way she could make explanation for her actions yet for dutta nothing Nakusha would say could be enough.

Just as nakusha manages to raise her expression a little…dutta warns her with a high temperament filled in his eyes.

"Aaj tak dutta shri ram patil ne apna sir kisi ke aage nahin jukhayay..lekin aaj tune yeh kasar bhi puri kar di nakusha!!!! "

The way in which dutta raises his voice shakes nakusha..looking up at him for a second she realizes that his anger was something she would not be able to calm. Listening to his words rage upon her..nakushas eyes begin to fill.

"Tuje us aurat se maafi maangne ki kya sarurat thi!?!!! There is pause as nakusha tries to collect herself but dutta does not like the silence from her and his voice deepens in anger.."Bol chup kyun ho gayi!!!!!"

"Samaj ti kya hai apne aap ko tu?…jo dutta shri ram patil ki taraf se maafi ki bhik maang ne chali gayi!!"dutta steps closer looking down at her with a sense of sharpness to his eyes duttas eyes demand a reply. Naksuha could hear the way in which duttas breathing deepened…the way in which is frustration effected the surrounding, the intensity of his glare..his unpredictable nature in anger scared her yet something within gave her the courage maybe not to look at him but ..softly..with an almost trembling and teary reply she managed to put her words together.

-"Aapki patni hai."

"Kya…kya kaha tune?" Dutta stares at nakusha with an intense redness in his eyes, he couldn't believe she had answered back and more so what she said irrupted more anger within dutta's mind.

His voice rose volumes as he spoke.- " TAB APNE PATI KI ISAAT KYA KHAYAL NAHIN AAYA TUJE?? !!!!!" Duttas words no doubt caused a rush of sadness through nakusha, she felt terrible for having done something dutta did not approve of yet she tried to explain. Holding on to her words as best as she could nakusha couldn't look into duttas eyes yet she tried her best.

-"Meine socha ke agar..woh aapko maaf karde toe.." not letting nakusha finish her words. Dutta took swift glance back at naku as she tried to explain but dutta didn't approve .

"Maafi tab maangi jaati hai jab kuch galat kiya ho .aur meine kuch galat nahin kiya!!!! "Looking closer at nakusha..dutta brushes his right hand against nakushas cheek..and looking at his own finger tips he sees that dark shade rub off on the skin of his finger tips and the frustration grows.

"aur yeh…!! Yeh rang jo tere chere par laga hai!!! uska kya..!!,kya kaha tha tune muje!! - Ek beraang zindagi sahab ke naam!!! Yehi bola tha naa tune, vaada kiya tha ke yeh raang ko kabhi haath nahin laagayeygi!?"
Dutta looks down at Nakusha with a sense of disappointment not wanting to hear any more..dutta is about to turn away when nakusha stops him. Her eyes cupped with tears..her expression carries remorse yet even that isn't even enough to stop dutta..

"meri baat ek baar suno sahab.. "Dutta turns around in anger..and on intense glare of his forces nakusha to drop her expression at once.

"bas….aur kuch nahin bolegi tu.!" Demanding that there would be nothing more from nakusha dutta walks away leaving nakusha in silent tears. Baaji approaches nakusha from the back and places a hand of reassurance on her shoulder yet nakushas tears were not of the kind that would stop with such ease.

……..Late into the night an with a soaring sense of thought,worry and distress dutta sits in his office. Sitting in his armchair behind his desk…dutta flicks through buttons on the CCTV remote util he finds the one he is looking for.

Forwarding through irreverence dutta switches to watching within kalas room ealier that day. The man he had seen walking in…having a conversation with her, the exchange of money. Dutta knew what was unfolding in the means of nakusha was more than likey to be kalas plan and he would get to the bottom of it.

Pausing at the mans face..dutta intenslity stares at the man, his eyes show an angry determination to get answers.

A knock at the door of the room and..baaji silently opening the door enters the room. A little causiosus of his presence, baaji is quite. Not wanting to provoke anger from dutta he simply walks into the room..stops at some distance in front of duttas desk ..and makes his presence known.

Bhau..aapne bulaayay tha.

Dutta not taking his eyes off the sceen nods his head..takes a glance at baaji for a second and notices the way in which there is a little regret on his face. Not wanting to touch on deeper matters dutta gets straight to the point. His tone as demanding as ever dutta wants the job done.

"Is aadmi ko dhun… aur pata kar..woh kala se milne kyun aayay tha" baaji takes a look at the screens behind him with the intention of memorizing that face and turning back to dutta replies somewhat downtrodden as per what had gone on earlier."Ho..Bhau..subhe dekhta hai mein.." dutta glares at baaji with an intense fury.. 'Abhi baaji! abhi pata kar aur..jabtak pata na chale..mere saamne mat aana!!" - Baaji could see how deadly serious dutta was and dared not question.

As baaji leaves the room dutta rest his head back onto this chair in fustration. Shutting his eyes closed..as darkness falls upon them all dutta could worry about was nakusha. Maybe she would understand if she knew the whole truth.

As duttas thoughts intwine in a distressful way…before duttas eyes a deep dark.. hurtful moment of the past flashes in front of his eyes.

……….flashback.

As dutta walks the corridors of patil niwas..late night. Very much as per persona dressed yet dressed in a more western look dutta carries of a white blazer with jeans thinking over business matters as he returns from his trip. He hears a silent cry. Uknown to where it was coming from or who it was dutta stops in his footsteps ..walking in the direction of that cry that seemed to be getting louder he..stops outside a servant room where the noise seemed to be coming from. Knocking on the door ..there was no answer. Still just the sound of that cry..

His expression and thoughts creasing In a concern dutta pushes open the door..stepping into what was a dark room ..no light just that female cry dutta calls out to find out what exactly was going on.

"Kaun hai yaha..???" with a total darkness spread across the room…dutta reaches out for the light switch and and as the room lights up duttas face changes to a stage of shock. The girl Sitting amongst the darkness in the corner of the room crying in a broken state..looks up at dutta for help.

….As the flashback ends for dutta and the sound of that crying fills his mind duttas eyes open and his expression takes to a intense distress. Getting up from his chair dutta just about to walk out of the room when his mobile sat on the desk infront of him rings. Looking down at the phone which reads ""BAAJI CALLING."

Dutta picks up the phone to listen to what Baaji has to say.

"Bhau us aadmi ka pata chal gayay. - Woah kala tai ka mohra hai bhau.""

Hearing kalas name dutta shut his eyes in a hurtful disbelvie.. it was just what he had expected but hoped was unture.

Kala tai ne us aami ke haaton woh pagal aurat ke naam kuch paise behje.

Naku ke saamne yeh shart rakhne ke leighyey ke woah apna chehra chipayey rakhe"- Yeh saab kala tai ki chal hai bhau.."

……….

As dutta takes a seat at the bar in patil niwas amogst the empty glass that sits in front of him dutta sees nakushas shadow. Standing behind him watching form a distance ..duttas expression harldy changes yet he aknowleges nakusha with his words.

"Peen nahin raha hoon." Turning on the stool dutta takes a cold stare at nakusha who stands before him with her expression dropped to the floor.

"dutta shri ram patil anpe vadon se mukr ne valon se mein nahin hai."

Nakusha felt the harshness in his words for she knew it was taunt. She had promised him that she would never touch that dark color yet here she was standing before him..just the way in which he never wanted to see her.

Nakusha hated her self for the pain she was causing dutta yet she had only done so for his happiness.

"Meine wohin kiya sahab jo muje sahin laga."

"Woahi toe galti hai teri..nakusha..tu ne bhi soch leighyay naa ke dutta toe khuni hai. afsos is baat ka hai ke tu apne pati ko samaj hein nahin paayi".

As dutta went on to talk nakusha was hurt by the way dutta was feeling due to her..she denied his words ..looking up at him..nodding a no..as if to she doesn't mean to think badly of him in any way..duttas presence an words is far too dominant for nakusha to interrupt.

Dutta turns back in his seat taking hold of an bottle of alcohol he pour the liquid into a glass whilst finishing his words.. "Agar satch pata chalgaya..toe tu mere saamne aane ke laayak nahin reh jaayeygi nakusha is leighyey is baat ko yaha chor de.-

Jo kara hai kar mein nahin rokunga."

Nakusha wonders what the real truth dutta was referring to was. If there was something more she wanted to know. With a heavy heat and saddened expression nakusha..walks closer towards dutta..just before he thinking of touching the glass takes it away from him. dutta in turns glares to his side at the way he uses the name – "nakusha.." in that deep tone is a sign that he was disspointed with her. But with a little courage nakusha manages to ask dutta..

"Sahab…mere ko puri satchayi jaani hai.."

Dutta looks at nakusha with a sentiment of anger, sorrow and fustration.

--"Chal mere saath…"

Dutta walks the corridors of patil niwas in a thunder and nakusha follows behind. Stopping at a certain room which nakusha knew to be chotu and Sia's room..dutta pushes open the door seeing Sia sitting on the floor with her back to the wall and eyes closed..in sleep with chotu sleeping in her lap dutta takes a stern glance at nakusha who was by his side. Wondering why they were here and what was going on..nakusha looks up at dutta with an obviousness.

Silencing his tone yet with the same frustration dutta speaks..watching over them both as nakusha listens to him and notes how duttas fustration grows with his every word.

"Dekh ise.." dutta eyes point to sia who is sleeping in front of them.

yeh ladki..patil wadi ki beti hai..meri zimidari hai..

mere paas aayi thi kuyun ke uske maa baap ghusargayey. Uska koi sahara nahin tha.

apne aap ko dutta shri ram patil samaj kar meine use chat di.. kam diya..

uska khyal rakhne ka vaada kiya. Duttas tone of voice was very silent and calm up to now yet as he went to speak on the tone got more and more frustrated his expression shaped in anger which he controlled..

"lekin meri hein ek aaadmi ne..uspein buri naazar dali..

meri hein ghar mein..meri hein chat ke neeche mere hein aadmi ne isaat lootli."

Nakusha shocked by what she hears..takes a look up to dutta by his side and her eyes widen at the thought of the incident. Seeing the sort of distress on duttas face.. the sort of sadness that this whole ordeal carried nakusha was left speechless.

Aur mein kuch nahin kar paayay…use baatcha toe nahin saka..par meine us aadmi ko chora bhi nahin. Maar dala meine use..

Dutta shri ram patil was profoundly a very strong character but looking up at the distress on his expression nakusha saw the existence of tears in those eyes of his. Tears that were not going to leave those eyes but sat that non the less showing a softer side of dutta.

Putting his hand to his head in a certain frustration dutta turns away to leave the room but before he does..his one last sentence unfolds the significance of everything he had told nakusha.

"Waoh aadmi.. us pagal aurat ka beta tha nakusha."

Nakusha shocked to hear this from dutta..is left speechless ..Sorrowful that she had incorrectly judged her husband and was wrong to do so. With a sadness of her own ..nakushas eyes well up looking down and sia and chotu..yet as dutta leaves the room …nakusha is quick to follow him for there was something that she needed to hear from him.

As dutta walks out of the room and begins to walk down the corridor with his back to nakusha. Naku stops him.

"Sahab ..!!"

Dutta stops in his steps..closes his eyes for a moment..taking a deep breath for a second he reopens them and then turns around. Nakusha looks into those troubled eye and sound her words.

" aapne us auarat ko apne bete ki saatchayi kyun nahin baatayi.?"

Duttas expression creases in further distress..as he begins to speak nakushas heart begins to melt in the realization that she was so wrong to judge him..

Dutta spoke with a deep softness in his eyes and an ultimate care and attachment to his reasoning ..

"Waoh aurat jee rahin hai toe uske bete ki yaadon ke saahare. Zindagi bhar uski badua ke saath jeelunga lekin..woh apne bete ke saatch jaan kar tut jaayey..woh mein deekh nahin paaunga."

Dutta looks at nakusha with a certain softness in his eyes.. yet it wasn't the same as usual..duttas eyes carried a sense of disappointment for nakusha. The disappointment that she had misunderstood him, walking away…nakusha watches dutta trail away..and once he is at a greater distance begins to sob to herself.

As Nakusha cries silently…baaji happens walk in and seeing that she is upset he stops close. Pulling a handkerchief out of his pocket he hands it to her. Nakusha looks up in the hope that it would be her sahab but as she takes a glance up she realizes that it is baaji. "Roh maat naku.. - Yeh sab kala tai ki chaal thi.. bhau ko chot pochane ke leighyey usne us aurat ko paise diya the.. use aaisi shart lagvaayi usne."

Nakusha looks up at baaji with tears..

"Mujse bohot badi galti ho gayi baaji."
