@aisha - I totally agree with you on the interpretation of Naku's situation. She has been bashed by many on this forum. I have often wondered reading all the posts, what is the age group/groW*H development and maturity that interprets each character. So regardless of where you fit in this category, I totally agree with you.

It is about HONESTY...how do you keep such a big lie from someone you love AND MARRY? How do you go on with a charade that you know will have to end one day, with the reveal? How can you let Dutta bask in his love for you or open himself up and even against Kala, and then reveal something that will confuse and hurt him because you did not say the truth before? This is what gets on my nerves. It did NOT need to happen this way. Everyone could have been spared some pain if Naku had exercised some personal integrity.

I agree Parul...Naku had enough time to get over her fear and be a sherni....It was the matter of her saab, her love...how can she not be sherni...No reasoning can justify, why she couldnt be sherni now....Naku has and will always be sherni for Dutta...We are seeing the Old Naku back in the precap....this is what was required before wedding.....Be sherni for her Saab!! She made a stmt, kept to ehr word many a times, but she had to do it before the wedding too......and didnt he disqualify the wedding now?...Naku was, as Fivr says, already his "shield-wife", hence, everyone's, including Naku's, reason on getting her married to him become void!!

The Naku we know and the Naku we are seeing now, would never ever have gone ahead with that marriage...never! She was not the Naku we know hence that was Naku's character Assassination!!..Thankfully, the Naku I related to is back.....and I love her for how she is standing by Dutta now!!
