Naku had not even listened to the rest of the conversation on the other end of the line; she just dropped the phone and ran out of the room. She hurried down the stairs in a jet speed and almost missed the step. She stopped and gathered herself and climbed down slowly. Only thing that was on her mind was that Baaji telling her that they were at the hospital and she initially thought of her 'Saab' being hurt.

At the hospital, the doctor sees Dutta and asks, "Bhau you are shot and it is quite deep it will need stitches. Come inside the operation room and we will get it done." Dutta still playing the words in his mind as to what Anna said about his sister being the culprit behind all the things that are happening to him. He sits down in a nearby bench and says, "Baaji meri apni behen aisa kar sakti hain maine kabhi aisa soch nahin tah. I have always loved her and respected her." He gets tears in his eyes and shakes his head. Baaji sits down beside him, places one of his hands on his shoulder and says, "Bhau I know what Kala Tai did was wrong, but there has to be a reason behind why she did what she did. The only way we will know is if we ask her." Dutta slouches down and buries his face in both of his hands. Subhu standing there heard all and could not believe her ears that the biggest enemy of his was none other than someone from his own family. She walks up to Dutta and says, "Dutta, sometimes it is hard to forgive the enemies, but it is even harder to forgive our loved ones. Those are the people whom we love and trust and in the end they break our trust." Dutta hears what Subhu told him looks up in her eyes and smiles. He knew she was right at some extent and forgiving Kala was not possible. She had jeopardized the lives of the people he loved. "Aap sahi hai. To forgive my sister is going to be impossible, but she has to be punished for her bad deeds." Dutta saw the doctor approaching him and letting him that the OR was ready for him. He gets and proceeds towards the OR.

At the front of hospital, the whole Patil gang had arrived. Naku runs in fast towards the receptionist and asks, "Dutta Sri Ram Patil kahan hain?" She looks with worried expression towards the girl in front of her. The receptionist asks, "Who are you?" Naku closes her eyes and loses her patience yells aloud, "I am his wife Nakusha Dutta Patil." She looks at the receptionist with anger in her eyes. The receptionist knew that this woman meant business tells her that he is in the OR having surgery done. Naku runs towards the OR without waiting for the rest of the family, she only knew one thing and that was her husband was in pain and she needed to be there for him. She comes down the hallway and sees Baaji pacing the floor. She yells, "Baaji." Upon hearing his name called, he turns towards the voice and sees Naku approaching him. "Saab kahan hain? Naku asks him with worried look. She then sees Subhu sitting on the bench and goes up to her, "Amma, aap theek toh hain na?" Subhu smiles at Naku and gently touches her face and answers, "I am fine Naku and so is your husband. He just has a minor wound and he needs stitches is all." She takes Naku's hand in hers and squeezes it, "So, you should stop worrying and be strong for him. Because I think he will need his wife's strength now more than ever." Naku looks at her not understanding what she meant by that, but nods her head agreement.

She then gets and walks towards the OR, pushes the door open and sees her husband in his wife-beater sitting on the operation bed. Dutta upon hearing the door opening looks there and sees his wife balling her eyes out. He shakes his head and says, "Eh Naku, bas kar abh come closer to me." He extends his hand out. Naku runs up to him and hugs him tightly. She buries her face in the crook of his neck balling her eyes out. Dutta with one had encircles her waist and slowly whispers in her ear, "Naku I am ok. It is just a scratch and nothing more. Stop crying, you know I can't stand tears in your eyes." Naku trying to catch her breath breaks the hug and affectionately looks at her husband. She kisses him on the forehead and says, "You are not allowed to die on me. Do you understand me?" Dutta smirks at his wife and replies, "Yes ma'am not allowed dying and I do understand." Naku hits him lightly on the shoulder and smiles.

Doctor comes in and says, "Bhau this wound is really deep and to stitch it up while you are awake is going to be painful. Why don't I give you anaesthetic so you don't feel any pain?" Dutta smiles at the doctor answers, "Doctor I don't want to be under. I want to feel the pain as this will always remind me that today I beat my enemy. Besides my strength is with me so I am sure I will not feel any pain." He turns and looks into Nakusha eyes. He takes her hand in his and entwines it.

The doctor begins to the stitch up the wound, he hisses in pain, squeezes her hand tightly, almost to the extent that she feels that there might be some bruising later on. She sucks the pain up and cups his face with the other hand. Dutta turns his face towards her hand and places a kiss on her palm. He releases her hand and encircles her waist tightly towards him. He buries his head in her chest, while Naku lovingly places both of her hands around his neck holding him to her.

Outside the OR, Baaji fills in all the details about what had transpired, leaving the part about Kala Tai. He thought that it would be better if Dutta himself confronted her and in privacy. AS praying with her maara asks, "Arjun kahan hai Baaji?" Baaji walks up to her and answers, "He went home to the girls. He is ok, but Arohi must be worried sick for him and he does not want her to be in stress." AS nods her head and looks at Subhu beside her. "You helped my daughter-in-law in the time of need, for that I shall be indebted to you forever. If there is anything that we can do for you please do not hestitate to ask." Subhu nods her head and replies, "I see those girls as my daughters as well and you don't have to thank me. I did what any human being would have done." AS smiles at the woman and says, "You will stay with us for awhile as our guest." Subhu accepts the invitation, as she had to come up with some living arrangments of her own.

Kala was pacing the hallway with a grim look on her face. She found out that Anna is dead, but knew this much that the leech would have unquestionably told Dutta about her. She smirked and shook her head. Well she thought if it has to come out, then so be it.

Dutta and Naku emerge out of the OR and AS instantly went up to her son. She embraced him and speaks, "I am glad you are ok." Dutta gently cups his mother's face and says, "I am fine AS, and anyhow how can anything happen to me when I have my surkasha kavach with him." He looks sideways towards Naku, who was smiling. He entwines his hand with her and says, "Ghar chalte hai." He walks past Kala and gives a look, which to Kala meant one thing that he, knows the truth.

They all arrive at the house and Dutta announces, "I want all family members' present for this." Naku still holding on to his hand lets go and comes to stand beside AS. Everyone was waiting for him to speak. "I had found out earlier that someone close to me wanted to harm me and make me suffer." He walks up to Naku, gently cups her face with one hand and turns his gaze towards Kala. He walks up to her, pulls his gun out from the back of his pants and ask,"Kyu Tai? Why do you want to cause me harm?" Everyone is in shell shock after Dutta pulled the gun out. AS looks at her daughter, who had nothing but pure hatred emitting through her eyes. Kala gives a sinister smirk and answers, "I wanted to harm you because your snake of a father killed mine. He made me and my sister's orphan, took away from us the father's love." AS is shocked to hear this and tells her,"Kala whatever happened was an accident and this is no way Dutta's fault. I mean if anyone is allowed to be angry, it should be me as I lost my suhaag, my husband and companion." Kala looks at her mother and smirks. She shakes her in disbelief and says, "However, AS you are not angry, in fact, you took your husband's murderers son in, gave him love, and raised him to be your own." She looks at Dutta with pure venom in her eyes and Dutta unable to fathom such hatred from the older sister he looked up too. Naku walks beside Dutta and puts a reassuring hand on his shoulder to calm him down. He looks towards the side, sighs big, and for one was glad that she was beside him. He needed her strength and will power.

"He not only took away our father's love from us, but also our mother's. I hated the fact that we had shared you with him. Therefore, yes I planned for him suffer. I turned Seema against him; he went spiraling down into the life of a gangster. I made sure that he would never ever again find love and suffer all of his life." Everyone's eyes became wide open at Kala's revelation on how she feels about Dutta. Kishore shook his head in disgust at his wife's thinking and says, "I hate that you are my wife, I mean to have such hatred for a man who has loved you as a sister, since he was young. I feel pity for you because look at where you are standing today all alone, and Dutta bhau has his whole family behind him." Kala laughs at her husband and does not give a damn about it. Leela and Roops shake their heads at their Tai as to what she did. AS takes a deep breath and says, "I don't have three daughters anymore, you are dead to me, nothing me."

Dutta closes his eyes and opens them again. He looks directly into her eyes and says, "For what you did in harming the one's I love there is no forgiveness, but rather punishment. Tell me Kala, what punishment should I give you?" He waits for answer, while he cocks his gun directly in front of her temple. AS shuts her eyes at the inevitable that was about to happen. Naku puts her hand forward to have Dutta lower his gun and says, "Saab no. You cannot shoot your own sister. I will not have you bloody your hands with her murder." She looks at Kala straight in her eyes and says, "End this fight and hatred you have for me him here and now. I mean he loves you as a sister. I beg of you Kala tai." Kala smirks at Naku and answers, "Never, tell your husband to shoot me here and now, or else if I am left alive then I promise I will try to kill him again." Naku gets angry at the response and yells, "Tai, you do whatever you want to do, but my husband will not kill you." Dutta breathes in, closes his eyes, and shoots up in the air to get everyone's attention. The echo of the gun fired startled everyone. "Enough! Kala's punishment is that from now onward no will address her as Kala Tai; she will have to leave the house immediately with nothing. She is no longer a part of this family." With that said Dutta marches out of the room and goes to his room.

Kala looks at everyone in the room and shakes her head and walks with her head up high, but before she leaves, makes one last announcement, "I will be back, and I will take my revenge on Dutta." Naku closes her eyes and breathes in deep. She feels AS place a hand on her back and say, "Go Naku my son, your husband needs you now." Naku nods her head and walks towards the staircase leading up to her room.

Dutta goes near the coffee table where the bottle of whisky was and pours a drink. He walks towards the edge of the window ceil and sits down. He has flashbacks of the events that transpired downstairs, he closes his eyes. He hears the room door open and instantly knew that his Naku had entered. He opens his eyes and downs his drink in one swift motion. He gazes towards Naku and she looks at him with affection in her eyes. She sees the pain and suffering his going through, she walks towards him and stands right in front of him. There was no need of words exchanged between them, but rather only talking done was through their eyes; he places his hands around her hips and jerks her flush towards him. Naku encircles her hands around his neck and he hugs her tightly with his head resting on her stomach. They stayed like that for a while and felt the cool breeze coming through the open window.

Dutta breaks the hug, stands up with his hands still planted on to her hips. He lowers his head and captures her lips in a scintillating kiss. Naku feels all the emotions through his kiss, his pain, sorrow, lust and everything. He bites her lower lip, which started to bleed a bit. He breaks the kiss, looks at her, then licks the blood of, and trails her lips once again in a heated kiss. He slowly trails down her neck, leaving open-mouth kiss, sucks at the base of her neck to leave a mark. Naku closes her eyes shut and felt like she was on cloud nine. The severe heat of the kiss left her mouth with fire. She starts to feel loose around her knees, if Dutta was not holding tightly her knees would buckle and she would plummet down.

He carries in his arms in swift motion and walks towards the bed. He looks at her tenderly and kisses her cheek. He gently places her down on the bed, removes his waistcoat, kurta and only thing left was his wife-beater. Naku glances up at him and moves upwards towards the head of the bed. Dutta not liking her teasing grabs a hold of her foot and jerks her towards him in haste. He hovers over, buries his mouth against her neck, and sucks on the sweet spot near her pulse, which drove her completely mad with desire. He chuckles into her neck, knowing the effect he had on her. He raises himself up and slowly starts to undress her; he pulls her pallu off, then un-buttons her blouse and places a kiss on her chest.

He was on top of her with the blue silk satin sheet covering them both. He looks at her with love and swiftly enters her and Naku extends her head upwards at the intensity she feels. She digs her nails into his arms and starts to moan. Dutta kisses her exposed skin on her neck and trails his tongue upwards towards her lips. He presses his lips harder, enters her mouth and tastes her. She was coming down from a high, which she never would have imagined; she knew of one thing that making love to her husband is always new and exciting. Dutta falls on his back and brings Naku along with him. She rests her head on his bare chest and kisses it. He whispers, "Thank you for being in my life." Naku smiles and raises her head and kisses his chin dimple and replies, "Where else would I be Saab? My heart and soul belong to you." Dutta hugs tightly and both fall into a satisfied sleep.

Ahh Finally the whole Kala thing is out of the way, now just to clarify Arohi is 7 months pregnant. The next part will have focus on Naku's pregnancy and finding out if she is or not.. then Baaji's Marriage game😉
