Chapter 35-Revelation
Naku was standing in front of the bappa's idol with folding hands, eyes closed praying. Dutta sees her standing comes closer to her and stands behind her. He never believed in god, but he respected the way his wife always had such belief in him.
Naku felt his presence behind her, opened her eyes, bent down and picked up the pooja thaali in her hands. She turns around, faces her husband and with smile on her face she says "Saab I know you will win this fight today. I have faith in you and in my bappa." She puts the tilak on his forehead and gets a bit of worried look. "Kya hua Naku? Tu itni worried kyu hai?" He asks her as he moves forward and places both of his hands on her shoulder. Naku shakes her head and smiles at him "Kuch nahi Saab. Mein jaanti hain ke aap yeh jung jeet ke aao ge, par phir bhi thora daar lagta hai." Dutta smiles at her and cups her face "It is normal to feel the way, you feel Naku. Being worried is normal part of being human and if we did not have that, then we would not be human." Naku places one her own hand over his and nods her head. "Mein jaanti hain Saab." Dutta brings his face forward, places a kiss on her forehead and hugs her to him. He gently whispers "I love you Nakusha Dutta Patil." Naku buries her head into his chest and replies "I love you back." They both break the hug and have an eye lock moment. "Naku go and tell AS about the plan we have on Baaji. Also try to ease her in about where we are going." Dutta told her. Naku nods head in agreement and Dutta makes his way out.
Outside the house, both Baaji and Arjun were waiting on Dutta. They look up and see him walking in stride, like the man-in-charge and he was. "Is everything in place?" He questions in a serious tone. Baaji steps forward and answers "Haan Bhau, sabh tayari hogayi hai." Dutta nods his head, looks at his men "Today we are going after my enemy that not only kidnapped Arohi, but also your vaheeni. They also beat-up Arohi's sister and I want to finish not only him, but everyone associated with him." Baaji nods his head with a serious face and keeps on picturing Sands' face when he first saw her after she was beaten. Dutta looks at Baaji and puts his hand on his shoulder and says "We all are going alive and I want all of us including my men to come back alive. Agar aisa nahin hua toh teri vaheeni ko use ke bappa pe vishwas uth jaayega. Aur mein yeh nahin chaahta."He tells him very sternly. All of them got into their respective cars to leave and go fight the battle.
Arohi was sitting on the chair in the kitchen with a worried look. She was praying for the safety of the men that were on their way to deal with the monster, who had kidnapped her and Naku. Sands walks into the dining area and sees the worried look on her sisters face and says "Di don't worry they will all be fine." Arohi gives her a sister a smile, but her eyes were not agreeing. "Sands' all of the men that have gone are the ones we love and I am scared." Sands' gives her a hug from the back of the chair and whispers in her ear, "I know you are and I am too. We have to be strong for them, and have faith in our men that they will come back with victory in their hands." Arohi hugs her sister tightly and nods her head.
Back in the car, the men were finally there at the place where the leech Anna was hiding out. Dutta gets down from the car, takes his gun out, and with a stern face looks at his men. He instructs his men to spread out in all angles of the jungle as they will attack on all directions and Anna's men will have no time for reaction. Baaji went one side with the couple of bodyguards, Arjun the other side with the other guards and lastly Dutta with the remainder of them. "Remember shoot to kill no one should be left alive and one more thing Anna is mine." Dutta instructs his guards and they start too sparse around the jungle. Baaji and Arjun nod their heads in acknowledgement to the order's Dutta had given. "Baaji, I intend to go back to my wife tonight alive and hold her close to him while she sleeps." Dutta tells his right-hand man, his best friend, and his brother. "You will Bhau, you will go back to Naku." Baaji replies his friend back with confidence.
In the middle of jungle, there is a small hut where Anna is sitting in a chair with a drink in his hand. He looks straight-ahead to the pole where he had tied his wife down. "Subu, Subu abh tuhi baat mein tera kya karu?" He questions his wife with a smirk. "You helped those two girls in escaping, and in turn helped my enemy get better advantage of me." He shakes his head in disbelief and slowly sips his drink. Subha gives him a small smirk and says "Anna you wanted to use those two innocent girls, to get to their husbands. In this line of business, there has always been a boundary that we don't harm the women or children in family." She disgustingly tells him off. "Yet you broke those rules and kidnapped them." Anna fed up with his wife's non-stop lecture of what is right and wrong gets up harshly and angrily yells, "Yeh dhaandha aisa hi hai. Is mein yeh nahin dekha jaata keh kaun kiski biwi, baacha yeh maa hain." He walks slowly towards her, "I did what I had to do, but never even a million years thought that you would betray my trust. I loved you with all of my heart and for you do something like this, is unacceptable." He firmly tells her and brings his head closer to hear ear and whispers, "You will suffer my dear wife." He moves away from her and smiles wickedly. Subha smirks at him and shakes her head, "You think I am afraid of you. I am not my dear husband, you can kill me but know this your time will come." Anna looks at her angrily and thinks this woman is something.
Outside in the jungle, Baaji and his troop of men had managed to kill most of Anna's men. Arjun too had successfully managed to do that. Dutta stealthy walks into the area where Anna's hut was visible to his eyes. He looks to his right, spots Baaji, and to his left Arjun was there. Baaji without any detection manages to get behind the house to see how many men were in the hut. He looks through the peep of the window and spots three other men, along with Anna. His eyes then fixate on the woman tied down. He looks at her, blinks his eyes, and sees it is none other than the woman who helped the girls. He face gets very angry; he takes this mobile out texts both Arjun and Dutta. He tells them who is inside. Dutta upon reading the text sighs big and texts Baaji back. Baaji makes his way back to Dutta and that is where they come up with the idea to lure Anna out. Once he is out in the open, Arjun will go through the back door and rescue Subhu to safety. Arjun replies to the text that Dutta had sent and agrees with the plan.
Baaji shouts out loudly, "Anna dekh teri mahut tujhe bula ri hain, Baar aah." Anna upon hearing grins and says to his men, "Who is this idiot that is telling me that my death has arrived?" He walks out the hut and sees Baaji standing there with the guards and all the guns pointing towards the entrance of the hut. Meanwhile, Arjun had managed to sneak onto the backside of the hut and was awaiting instructions from Dutta as to when to charge inside the hut. "Kya reh Baaji Rao, tera Bhau nahi aaya, tujhe bhej diya." He starts to laugh out wickedly and looks at Baaji. Baaji gives him his signature smirk and says, "What do you think that Bhau will not come? Mhh you must be mistaken, because teri mahut toh bhau ke haath se hi likhi hai."
Anna getting angry by the moment yells out, "Dutta SriRam Patil, come out don't hide like a coward. I had heard that you are a Lion and yet you are hiding out like a mouse." Dutta sent the text for Arjun to proceed with going inside the hut in two minutes. Dutta steps out of the shadows of the trees holding his gun to his side. He comes and stands right beside Baaji, "I don't hide or runaway like a coward, unlike someone I know." He spits back out to Anna. "I always was, still am and always will be the lion of this jungle." He powerfully states to Anna in a strong and deep tone of voice.
Anna laughs at Dutta's comment and pulls his gun out to shoot. There were shots fired everywhere and Arjun manages to kick the backdoor and shoot the two men in there. He walks to towards subhu and unties her, "You are safe now. No one is going to harm you." He tells her nicely. Subhu smiles at the young man in front of her and speaks "Tum Arjun ho na?" Arjun looks at her and nods his head. She smiles at him and with affection places her hand on top of his head. Arjun understood the gesture that she was blessing him and thanking him. He escorts her out of the house to safety. He tells the guards to take her back out of the jungle towards the cars and keep her safe from all the harm.
Meanwhile, out in the front there was smoke fire that Arjun had a hard time figuring out if Baaji and Dutta were okay or not. Then with relief, he sees Dutta fire his shot at Anna, but it misses the leech. Anna shoots back and it ends up grazing Dutta in the shoulder. "Dutta you don't even know that, someone close to you wants you suffer and ulitmately wants your demise." Anna barked out with a sinster laugh as he managed to dodge the bullets coming at him. Dutta still not bothered with the pain in his arm, remembers that Anna had previously mentioned this too and now wants to know the person who is after him he shoots back aggressively. He shot the last shot in his chest and Anna dropped down. Dutta walks over to him and asks, "Who is my enemy that is close to me and wants to harm me?" Anna gasping for air smirks at Dutta who was seething with anger in his eyes. "Bol kaun hai?" Dutta yelled out. "Teri hi apni behen, kalawait Sri Ram Patil." Anna whispers out slowly. Dutta unable grasp the name Anna had just given looks at him in shock. Anna starts slowly to grasp for air as he was close to dying says, "You need to keep your friends closer, but your enemies even closer." Dutta blows a gasket and yells, "You are lying. My sister loves me, why would she try to harm me?" Anna gasping for his last breath answers, "A dying man will never lie on his death bed, and all I can say is that she wants you to suffer for the pain you have caused her family. She wanted you to suffer the pain and loss, like she did by harming the one you love the most." Dutta still trying grasp the information shakes his head, bends to Anna and asks, "Did she plan the kidnapping of Nakusha and Arohi?" Anna gasping for air holds his chest where the blood is oozing replies, "Yes it was her plan to kidnap and killed." Dutta close his eyes, has flashbacks of all the events involving his sister, and could not believe that she would do something evil like this. She wanted to harm him and went through the one he loves the most. He opens his eyes and sees that Anna has died; he gets an angry face and stands up. Meanwhile, Baaji runs towards Dutta and sees that his arm was bleeding profusely from the bullet wound. "Bhau you have been shot!" Exclaimed Baaji loudly. Dutta not registering his friend saying something to him says, "Let's go home. There is something or rather someone I need to deal with." Baaji looks at his friend and asks, "Haan Bhau we will go him, but let's get that wound checked out and then we will go home." Arjun walks up to them, tucking his gun at the back of jeans.
"Arjun is the woman safe?" Dutta asks as he tries to stop the arm from bleeding. "Yes Dutta she is. She is with the rest of the guards outside the jungle by the cars." Arjun replies.
Back at the Patil niwas, Naku tells AS about Dutta as to where he had gone. AS with worried look prays, "Aye jagadmbe." Naku smiles at her and says, "Bappa hain na AS, toh kuch nahin hoga un logo ko." AS smiles at her bahu and place her hand lovingly upon her head. "AS, I have to tell you something regarding Baaji and the whole marriage idea." She says with hesitation in her voice. AS looks at her with worried expression and says, "What is it Naku? Is everything all right?" Naku closes her eyes and responds yes it is and it is nothing bad. She then begins to tell Dutta's idea regarding the marriage plan and how he wants play around with Baaji. AS shakes her head at the idea that her son came up with this plan. She agrees with Naku that she will play along; however in the end it will be Sands' who will become her youngest daughter-in-law no matter what. Naku smiles and hugs AS. Now if only she could get some news regading how the men were doing that would make her feel at ease.
Back in the jungle, near the car Subha was sitting in awaiting the men to come. She prayed to god that they were ok, but had a distinct feeling that her suhaag was no longer alive. She sees the guards coming about and then notices a tall, well build man with black outfit emerging. She intinctly knew that this was none other than Dutta SriRam Patil, his stride and face gave him away. Subha noticed that he was bleeding in his right arm badly and was covering with his left hand to stop the bleeding. The men come to stop near the car, Subha comes out and says, "You are hurt and bleeding heavily. Aapko hospital jaana chahiye." Dutta shakes his head in disagreement, "Agar mein hospital poch gaya toh meri biwi will be worried for no reason and I don't want that." He states as a matter of fact. Subhu knew that he is the type of man, who can take any pain given to him, however can't see his loved ones in pain. "Mein aapse maafi mang ta hu. Aaj meri hatho se or meri hi bandook se use maar diya. Mein aapka guneghar hu jisne aapke suhaag ko cheehna hai aapse." He apologetically looks at the older woman and bends his head down. "Aap jo saaza dena chahiye mujhe kubul hain." He tells her as he looks into her eyes. Subhu smiles a little bit and replies, "I can't punish someone, who was trying avenge what was done to his loved ones." This suprises the three men standing there. "Waise aisa suhaag kisko chaahiye he kidnapped the women for his own selfish reasons. He broke the cardinal rule that in this business we leave women and children alone." She looks at Dutta in the eyes and what he saw was that she had no sadness or regret whatsoever. Dutta nods his head, "I will always be thankful to you and indebted for heping my wife and friend to safety. I have the utmost respect for you and if I have not said it before thank you for helping and saving them." Subhu smiles at him and accepts his thanks, but tells him that they should go to the hospital where the doctor can patch him up. Dutta reluctantly agrees and they all drive towards the hospital.
Naku was in her room waiting. She kept on looking at the big picture frame of Dutta. "Saab please jaldi aajao."
Please play this song while she remembers all of her time spent with Dutta
She hears the phone ring and rushes to pick it up and hears on the other end Baaji telling her they are at a hospital. Naku's heart instantly speeds up, drops the phone and rushes out of the room.
