Part 2 - Daraar
Dutta and Naku's party is on and Naku gets down from the stairs to come to the living room, where the party was at its peak. Marathi dances were going on. As soon as NAKU steps down, her eyes search for Dutta. She was wearing a saree for the first time, only for him and today, she just wanted to be with him, all the way. Just then her eyes fall on Dutta, sitting in the bar, looking dashing in Carbon Black Jeans, Black shirt and Black Sports coat.
She is mesmerized by his looks, Dutta turns to see Naku staring at him. He blushes and smiles slightly. Naku goes to him and smiles. She didnt know what to say. They both stare at each other for a long time then Dutta finally breaks the silence. "Tum bahut achchi lag rahi ho." More than Naku, he blushes. Naku finds her voice, "Aap bhi.". Dutta hears this and starts adjusting his jacket. "Achchi lag rahi hai na. Meine Pehli baar pehnaa."...he looks at her with anticipation. Naku gives him an assuring nod. Just then the whole PN bataalion approach them.
First Baaji and Roops congratulate the couple.
Baaji, "Kya Bhaoo, tu toh chaukaa maara re, ab chakka kab maaregaa, huh?" Baaji gives a notorious laugh and Dutta hits him on the head and turns his face with a blushing smile.
Naku also smiles back. Roops hugs her brother and tells him, "Bhaoo, Aapko khush dekhkar, mein bahut khush hai aaj." Dutta hugs her back, "Tu khush hai na Choti, toh mein toh khush hoga hee." Roops turns to Naku and hugs her too, "Vehni, Mere Bhaoo ko uske khushi ke 1 saal dene ke liye, dhanyaavaad."...Naku blushes, looks at Dutta who is looking at her with hidden smile.
From behind a voice interjects, "Hume bhi toh koi dekhe."
Baaji, Naku and Roops get serious but Dutta sees Kala and Leela and gets up. He hugs Kala. "Taayi, tere ko kaise bhool sakte hain."
Kala pats his face, "Bhaoo, shaadi ki saalgiraa mubaarak ho. Teri zindagi mein jaise utaar chadaav aaye, lagtaa nahi tha ki yeh din dekhne ko milegaa." Naku gives Kala a hard stare but keeps quiet. Dutta thanks kala and tells her, "Aap log ho na Taayi, toh mein sab toofaanoan ko dekh legaa." Naku shifts her gaze, anger rising inside her. Kala sees her and comes to Naku, "Humari vehni ko bhi toh koi dekhe. Uske bina kya saalgiraa.". Naku forces a smile.
AS comes from behind and calls for Dutta. "Dutta, apni Aayi ke gale nahi lagegaa?." Dutta hugs AS for a long time. AS then tells him with tears in her eyes, "Tere chehre par yeh khushi dekhne ke liye humaari aankhen taras gayi thi dutta. Maa Jagdambe saari khushi tere aanchal mein daal de." She blesses him and seeing this tears roll down Naku's eyes. This was too much for her to take. The flashes of the tape come in front of her and she holds the bar stool tight. AS notices the tears in naku's eyes and so does Dutta. He rushes to be by her side, he looks at her, "Kya hua Naku?"...Naku is not able to say anything when AS speaks up, "Yeh Khushi ke aansoon hai Dutta, Tu nahi samjhegaa aurtoan ki baatein. Naku, yede aa!" Naku makes herself go to AS with lot of effort. Dutta still looks concerned and unsure. AS holds Naku by shoulder. Naku touches her feet, all the time, AS's true face flashing in front of her! AS blesses her, "Jeete reh Naku, Doodho nah, pooto phal, agle baras hume doosri hi khushi chahiye." Naku keeps looking at AS in a serious manner. Baaji shouts from behind, "Yehi toh Aayi Saheb, Mein aur kya bol raha hai, ek chota dutta, bus, aur jaasti toh kuch nahi maangaa na."...Dutta again gives a hard whack to Baaji but Naku doesnt change her expression. She is not able to enjoy the joke. "Mukhote, sab jagah Mukhote....Kaise pehnte itne mukhote aur pure samay pehne rehte..." She turns her face in disgust, Dutta notices Naku's discomfort. He tells Aayi, "Aayi Saheb, Jashn shuru karein?". AS agrees and all leave to take their place.
Dutta holds Naku's hand and turns her face towards him, "Kya baat hai Naku? Tu aaj badli badli hai?"
Naku forces a smile, "Kuch nahi! Mei theek hai."
Dutta sighs, "Naku, Jaanta hai ki tu mujhe padh sakti hai, bahut achchi tarah, lekin mein bhi koi kam nahi hai. Tu itni saaf hai na Naku, tere dil ka haal, jhalakta hai un aankhon mein. Aaj mein chahtaa tha ki tu aur mein sirf khush rahein, lekin agar tu khush nahi hai, toh laalat hai mujh par. Waada kiyaa tha, teraa saath doonga, tu maukaa kyun nahi deti?"
Naku holds his hand and assures him, "Mei theek hai, sachchi! Aap jab tak Naku ke saath ho, Naku ko kuch nahi ho saktaa! Aur aap khushi bole na, sirf aaj nahi, ab humaare zindagi mei khushi hameshaa ke liye aayegi. yeh naku ka waada hai, apne saab se! Bus thoda bharosa karnaa hoga." She looks at him expectantly. Dutta tells her, "Bus tere par hi toh aankh band karne waala bharoasa hai Naku."
Naku smiles back, "Chalo, ab jashn mein chalein? Humari hi saalgiraa hai na?"
Both laugh and leave. Naku looks at the PN Family and thinks, "Ab mere saab ke zindagi mein asli khushiyaan aayengi."...Dutta gives Naku a side glance and sees a look of satisfaction on her face. He becomes happy seeing that look.

The function is ON with Marathi dance and plays being played in front of the family and guests. Naku and Dutta sitting in the middle, Dutta is having a great time but Naku keeps looking over her side, not able to get over the betrayal of her family.
Naku looks at all the faces..."Itne chehre, aur sab nakli? Kaise rahein hain yeh in sab ke beech mein ab tak!"..She shudders. Dutta notices her shudder and comes close to her, holds her shoulders, "Tum theek ho na?"...🥱🥱
Naku looks at Dutta and her eyes wells up. Her vision suddenly changes to see Dutta in the middle of the room, trapped between room full of black evil masks and he holding her shoulders as last support and trust!...She tells Dutta, "Bappa ko mein kaise dhanyawaad degi, ki usne mujhe aap diye"❤️❤️❤️
A pretty gal comes on the stage in the fisherwomen costume and starts dancing on, "Galiyaan sakli sonaa chi". The Patil family enjoy her dance. Once done, kala comes forward and pulls the girl in front of Dutta and Naku.
Kala - "Bhaoo, yeh Jhumri hai. Yahaan ki bahut naami nratya mandali ki sadasya. Khaas aapke jashn ke liye bulaaya hai."...She turns to face Jhumri, "Jhumri, Yeh mere Bhao - Dutta Bhaao aur humari Vehni hai.". Jhumri gets excited and holds on to Dutta's hand, "Mein badi naseeb waali hai ich ki mujhe bhagwaan, Dutta Bhao se milne kaa mauka mila ich! Haila Tauba!!...Aaj toh mein sabko bataayegi jaake, Mein Dutta Bhaao se milli."...😆😆😆,,,Dutta smiles at her and tries disengaging his hand from her, which was held for a few extra minutes than was required. Dutta - "Theek ho na Bai. Kuch chahiye toh bolnaa.". Jhumri gets more excited, "Aaigaa Saab, Majhaa Aaayi Baaba bahut khush honaar. Aap mere baare mein pooche. Aaigaa!"😳😳😆😆... Naku cant help laughing at Jhumri's excitement. Kala helps Dutta disengage his hand from jhumri's hold and she takes him away.
Dutta looks at Naku with embarrasment, "Meine nahi..."...Naku smiles at him back, "Aapko lagtaa hai ki aapko bolne ki zaroorat hai, mere ko?". Dutta's embarrasment changes to a lovelorn look, "Har din mere ko aehsaas hota hai, naye naye tareekoan se, ki mein kitna naseeb waala hoon."...
Naku and Dutta have been staring at each other when they hear Baaji's voice yelling on the mike, "Toh Bhaiyoan aur unki behnoan, Mere Bhaoo ka toh encounter bahut pehle hee ho gaya tha, lekin ek saal pehle usne shaadi ki goli bhi khaa le, tab se bus Khalaas hee ho gaya...😆😆😆...Ab Bhao ke muh se hum, Maarna, Kaatna, Khatam kar denaa, goli se udaa denaa sunte hee rehte hain, Aaj mein socha, kyun nahi hum woh sune jo sirf humari vehni sunti...Kyun Vehni?"...Dutta and Naku gets confused. Baaji goes on mischeviously, "Dutta Bhao, kya boltaa, Aaj humare sab ke saamne, bol daal, kuch shabdoan mein, tujhe pyaar mein kya kya hotaa hai?" Baaji laughs at Dutta's embarrasment. Dutta shakes his head in denial, but with everyone's pesterance, he finally goes on the podium, extremely shy and blushing from head to toe. Baaji tells Dutta, "Tujhe yaad hai Bhaao, ek baar mein tere ko challenge kiyaa tha, Naku ko shaadi ke liye bolne ka, Aaj mein tere ko phir challenge karta, agar tera pyaar abhi bhi jawaan hai, toh hum sab ke saamne Naku ko bata, tum dono ke pyaar ka kya aehsaas hai?" With this Baaji leaves.
The challenge makes Dutta determined. The new found strength makes him feel that it was just Naku and him in the room, and everyone else faded in a fog! Dutta takes the mike and then looks at Naku. For few minutes, he just keeps looking at her, ❤️❤️❤️❤️...then suddenly he starts speaking, an unprepared oration of love, right from the heart, "Naku, meri zindagi mein aane ke liye, Koti koti dhanyavaad. Mujhe gaana nahi aata, par tere ko itnaa kehnaa chahtaa hoon"
He stares at her for few seconds, lost in her, and suddenly the room is filled with a cacophonic voice, singing -
"Duniyaa ne thookraaya hai, Bus tumne apnaaya hai,
Dil ko kitnaa chain milaa, sab ne itnaa sataaya hai,
Apna hai, ek sapnaa, ek tu hee ho apnaa"❤️❤️❤️❤️
Dutta's eyes wells up with each and every memory of their love flashing in front of him. ❤️❤️❤️❤️The guests desperately try to not close their ears but there was one person in the crowd who understood the depth of the words and the language of the the love, ❤️❤️❤️❤️she cried! 😭😭😭Naku got up and with tears in her eyes, went and hugged Dutta tightly. Both of them didnt care how many people were there in front of them, they two were immersed in love. ❤️❤️❤️😭😭😭Baaji starts crying seeing their love when Roops comes and gives his hand a hard squish.😭😭😭
Baaji wipes his tears and goes on the stage and gives a group hug to Dutta and Naku! 😳😳He takes the mike, "Pyaar bahut khoobsurat hota hai re! Bappa, mere ko bhi denaa." He looks at Roops for a second and then shifts his gaze. 😳😳😳Dutta and Naku go back to their seats, hands locked in each other!❤️❤️
The rest of the program goes on when Roops calls Naku, "Vehni, Aap pooja ki thaali kahaan rakhein hain? Aayi Saheb ko chahiye." Naku gets up and goes to the kitchen to search for it.
In the meanwhile, in the living room, a pair of feet moves with determined stride towards Dutta. he comes close when AS turns to see that DP was approaching Dutta. A fear crosses her face and she shreiks! Everyone turns towards AS. Dutta follows AS's line of sight to see DP standing near him, giving a tender look to Dutta. Anger rises inside Dutta, his palms clench, he starts hissing, "Inko yahaan kinse aane diyaa?" He goes near DP and holds his collar, "Teri himmat kaise hui yahaan aane ki?"
DP tells Dutta calmly, "Betaa, Mein sirf..." but Dutta stops him, "Kitni baar bataana padegaa, mein teraa betaa nahi hoon, nahi hoon, nahi hoon.", he hits his fist in the air.
DP looks at Dutta for a second and speaks again, "Sachchai ko kitnaa bhi jhookla le, badal nahi saktaa. Mein yahaan tere ko sirf sach bataane aaya hoon."
Dutta roars at him, "Mujhe teri koi sachchai nahi sun ni. Tere muh se aise lafz achche nahi lagte hain." He calls for his BGs, "Isko yahaan se lekaar jaao."😡😡😡😡😡
DP becomes adamant, "Mein yahaan se Nahi jaaongaa, jab tak tu meri poori baat nahi sun lete."
Dutta holds his collar tight, "Mujhe majboor mat kar aisaa kuch karne ke liye, jisse humari peediyaan pachtaayein."😡😡😡
DP - "Jo karnaa hai kar le betaa, mein yahaan aaj apni baat bataake hi jaaongaa."
Naku hears the screams inside the kitchen and rushes outside. She gets worried seeing Dutta being aggressive with DP. She sees Dutta about to punch DP and she rushes to him and stops him. She stands between Dutta and DP. "Aap yeh kya kar rahe hain?"
Dutta keeps looking at DP, "Naku, hat ja beech mein se."
Naku doesnt budge, "Nahi, Mein nahi jaayegi."
Kala and Leela are enjoying the scene and wish that Naku had not interfered.
Dutta releases DP's collar and turns in frustration. "isse kisne yahaan aane diyaa. Kisne?". He gets more and more aggressive , every minute. 😡😡😡
Naku takes a deep breadth and tells him, "Mei boolaayi unko yahaan."
Dutta turns shocked, He is not able to say anything for quiet sometime. "Naku, Tu?". He moves closer to her, "Kyun Bulaayi tu isko?"
Naku holds his hand and calms him down, "Aap apne Baba ki ek baar baat toh sunlo?"
Dutta holds his hand, "Bus NAKU, Hum is baare mein baat kar chuke hain. Jab meine keh diyaa tha ki mein is se koi rishtaa nahi rakhnaa chahtaa hoon, toh tune usse kyun bulaaya? Woh bhi aaj? Jab mein humaare liye sab se khushi ka din banaana chahtaa tha, toh tune yeh tofaa diyaa mujhe?" Dutta gets emotional, pain reflecting from his eyes.
Naku feels his pain and tells him, "Humari khushi ke liye yeh zaroori hai, ki aap ek baar inki baat sunno."
Kala interjects, "Naku, Jab bhao keh raha hai ki woh is aadmi se milnaa nahi chahtaa toh mujhe samajh mein nahi aata ki tu kyun Bhaoo ko dookh par dookh denaa chahti hai? Tujhe humaare dookhoan ka koi aehsaas nahi hai?"
Naku gives Kala a dirty look but ignores her. She goes to Dutta and holds him, "Apne Naku ki aap ek baat nahi maanoge?"
Dutta falls on the couch, "Naku, Aisaa kuch math maang jo mein kabhie nahi de paaoon.Tujh se achcha kaun jaantaa hai..."
Naku cuts in, "Haan, mein jaanti hai...Dikhta mere ko, lekin jo mujhe dikhataa, woh aapko nahi dikhtaa...Aapko yeh sach jaan na zaroori hai." Dutta turns towards her agressively, "Sach sach sach, Kaisaa sach?"
Naku tells him boldly, "Aapke apnoan ka sach...Aap jinko apnaa kehtaa, woh kitne aapke apne hai, woh sach!...Aur uske liye agar aapke Baba se mujhe milnaa pade toh, mein woh bhi karegi! Mein aap ke liye, aap ke khilaf bhi khadi ho jaayegi!"
Dutta sits on couch, tired, "Tu kya keh rahi hai Naku, mujhe kuch samajh nahi aa raha."
Naku takes a deep breadth and tells him, "Saab! Aapko khokhlaa kiyaa hoga aapke Baba ne, par unkaa badlaa le rahe hain aap se, aapke apne, Aapki Aayi aur behnein!...Aapke khilaf har saazish, har khel, woh khele!..."
Dutta keeps getting infuriated at Naku's word
but Naku goes on! "Supriya ko bhagaaye yeh log, naam aaya mere pe, dil tootaa aapka...Har Khushi ko aap se door rakhne ki saazish kare yeh." Naku gives AS and Kala a venomous look. - "Lekin yeh bhool gaye ki Bappa sab dekh raha tha...Bappa ke aage toh kissi ki nahi chalti. Woh aapke Baba ko bhejaa aapki Aayi aur behnoan ke muh se mukhotaa nikaalne ke liye..."
Dutta gets very pissed off, and shouts at Naku, "Nakuuuuuuuu...".
Dutta raises his hand at Naku but stops midway. "Bus Naku, Bus!! Apne rishtey ki laaj rakhi abhi tak, suntaa gayaa, par ab nahi...bus!". This doesnt waver Naku, she goes on, "Nahi! Bus Nahi! Aap ko sun na padegaa...Kitnaa bhagenge hum? Kitni der tak patti pehne rahenge..."
Dutta moves around restlessly, giving signs to Naku to stop, but she doesnt."Aap jaante na ki mein Sups ko nahi bhagaayi, toh aap soche kaun bhagaaya...Aap hi bole the na ki ghar se koi usse bhagaaya...Toh kaun bhagaaya?".
Dutta shouts at Naku back, "Toh mein apni Aayi aur behnoan par ilzaam laga doon...?"
Naku - "Nahi, math lagao...Aisa toh kissi par bhi ilzaam nahi lagaane ka...Mein bhi nahi vishawaas ki aisa hee...lekin Baba ke paas saboot hai..."
Dutta argues, "Saboot banaaye bhi jaa sakte hain Naku...tere se accha yeh kaun jaantaa hai?"
Naku counter argues, "Haan mere samay par bhi saboot banaaye gaye the, lekin kisne banaaye the? Kuch saboot banaaye nahi ja sakte, aur woh dekhne se pata chalegaa na? Ek baar aap saboot toh dekho"
Dutta gets very emotional, he sits beside AS, who has been crying profusely.😭😭😭😭😭 He holds her hand, "Naku, Kaash apni poori zindagi ka saboot la saktaa, Kaash unmein dikhaa saktaa ki Aayi saheb ne mujhe kaise paala, Kaash dikha saktaa tere ko ki kaise meri behnein tadpi hain, jab mere par goli chalayi jaati....Kahaan se un aehsaasoan ke saboot laaoon Naku?"
Naku doesnt loose her hold, "Woh aehsaas nafrat ka tha...sonaa deti murgi ko bhi toh paala jaata hai? Mein aapko aise nahi dekh sakti!"
Dutta rises up and shouts, "Nakuuuuuuu ...Bus!!Bahut sun liyaa meine...Aaj tune apni har had paar kar di hai." He turns and stops near her.
He looks at her for few seconds and finally says, "Aayi par ungli uthaane walle ki is ghar mein toh kya, mere zindagi mein koi jagah nahi hai!"
Naku looks at him shocked, "Humaare pyaar mein Hadein kahaan se aa gayi? Aur agar aapke liye mujhe hadeein paar karni padegi, toh mein woh bhi karegi!"
Dutta shakes his head in frustration, "Pyaar ka naam math de isse...Aaj tune mere pyaar ko bhi ruswaa kar diyaa.". He holds her for a long time and then abruptly releases her.
He sits on the couch and covers his face with his hand, "Chali jaa yahaan se Naku, Isse pehle ki mein iss pyaar ko kossoon, chali jaa!"
Naku goes near him, holds his hand and turns him to face her, She starts crying, "Aap apni Naku ko apne se door jaane ko keh rahe?"
Dutta turns his face from Naku and disengages his arm, "Chali jaa Naku! Isse pehle ki yeh betaa bhool jaaye ki woh kissi ke beintehaa pyaar karta hai, chali jaa! Nahi toh aaj mere se aisaa anarth ho jaayegaa, jiske liye mein apne aap ko kabhie maaf nahi kar paaongaa..."
AS keeps crying, "Dutta nahi...Mat kar...Hume Naku se koi shikaayat nahi hai. Yeh sab iss aadmi ka kiyaa karaaya hai. Naku toh sirf teraa bhala chahti hai."
Dutta looks at Naku, "Dekhaa! Aaj bhi meri Aayi mere baare mein soch rahi hai, meri khushi ke baare mein soch rahi hai, aur tu..." He turns his face, disgusted with Naku. "Meri Zindagi se chali jaa Naku. Meri Aayi mere liye sab se zyaada zaroori hai. Iske liye mein kuch bhi chod saktaa hai." Naku becomes stoned for a second. She couldnt believe what she was hearing.
Dutta gets up and starts leaving. His walk indicated that the man of the house had passed the verdict and Naku had to follow it. He reaches the stairs when Naku's voice roars from behind, "Nahi jaayegi, Mein nahi jaayegi! Aur kyun jaaye? Yeh ghar meraa hai, Aap mere ho!" Dutta turns in shock. Naku goes close to him and gives him a determined look, "Aap bole the na ek baar, ki mein aapko, aap se zyaada jaanti hai. Haan mein khud kehti hai, Aaj aapko meri sabse zyaada zaroorat hai. Aaj mein hi hai iss ghar mein, jo aapki hai, Aapko abhi dikhayi nahi de raha, par mein aapko dikhaayegi! Mein aapko aisee akelaa chod ke nahi jaayegi."
Kala realizes the game was slipping, she interjects,"Dekho toh, kitni dheet hai...Jab bhaao keh raha hai, jaane ke liye, toh jaati kyun nahi? Humaari Aayi ke upar ungli utnaane waale ko hum maaf nahi karte!"
Naku looks at her, and then back at Dutta, more determined than ever, "Aapne sunaa, Mein nahi jaayegi". She turns to look at Kala and AS. "Aur ab, Baba bhi humaare saath rahenge."
Dutta shouts back, "Nakuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu, tu nahi jaanti tu...."
Naku turns to look at Dutta, revolting look in her eyes, "Mein jaanti hai, achchi tarah jaanti hai, aur ek din aap bhi jaan jaaoge.". She turns towards DP, "Chaliye Baba! Aap ab se yahin rahoge! Humaare saath!"
DP gets skeptical, "Beti, magar..."...Naku interjects, "Baba, Beti kaha hai na, Beti ki baat maano!". She stares at Dutta but talks to DP, "Aap apna sachcha praishchit karnaa chahte na, toh aapko yahin rehnaa hoga."
With that she pulls DP and takes him to the guest room.
Dutta keeps hissing, with a strong punch on the railing of the stairs, he goes towards the bar.
AS and Kala keep staring, worried at the turn on events.
