She realised, that her host had instilled an unknown apprehension, a kind of fear in her mind. She tried to deny it, but her intense gazes and confident smirks smacked her brains again and again.

Leela was gathering her stuffs, and packing them for her next trip. She had a week long flights from Dubai to Athens; to and fro. Her duty hours were erratic as she was a flight attendant in an international airlines company. She came back, stayed for a couple of days and went flying again. When Naku came in the apartment she was busy over the phone with her co-worker, the guy, she was presently rumoured to be dating. Naku somehow, had the hunch that this was not one of those light hearted flings that Leela usually indulges in, it was something way more serious than those several others that crept Leela's past record. Though Leela tried to deny the seriousness on her end vehemently each time the discussion cropped up, it was clear from the amount of time she dedicated behind this particular fellow, was quite not usual for Leela.

Naku on the other hand was feeding baby Anupama, who kept slamming her spoon on the bowl kept in front of her, while her mother fought even more valiantly than Achilles in Troy. Feeding baby Anupama was always an ordeal, tougher than fighting a battle. When Naku came in, Roops looked at her once, and plucked little Anu from her chair and handed her over to Naku; without a word. She knew that Naku was not in a good mood, and the best way to make her relax, was to make her indulge in things that she really loved. Playing little baby games with her daughter Anupama was one of them.

While Naku played with little Anu, Roops set herself to clean the kitchen counter, where her daughter sat for dinner. She always made sure that she was fed less, and she feeds the things around her more. She enjoyed doing so, for she chuckled endlessly while on her feats, which ended up having her mother make different animated facial gestures, which were a constant source of amusement for little Anupama.

Her aunt Naku was the best thing that could probably have happened to her, and to her utter satisfaction, she knew deep down in her baby heart, that this best thing will be exclusively hers for a long time to come. She always had her own little ways with her dear aunt Naku, and even without asking. The last time was those several hard sturdy rectangular shaped, shiny and thin looking stuffs, with lots of writing on it. Though little Anu did not know, what those rectangular shaped thin sturdy stuffs were, but she understood that those were mighty important to the grown-ups. She also knew that her aunt Naku would not throw her antics like her mother would, especially as long as those rectangular stuffs did not tear apart due to her endless chewing.

Anupama was right to have guessed about Naku's reaction. When Naku had realised that her leather card holder was missing, she came to the living room looking for it, only to find it laying on the coffee table carelessly, with one card on the carpet in front of the table, and another, half way into little Anupama's mouth, and she was relishing the feel of it. She knew that it was her dear aunt Naku's sheer huge heart that made her pick her up, take the card from her hand, and taking her out for a walk.

Her aunt Leela was good too, but sadly she could never stick around for long, but for as long as she did, little Anu had the treat of a time. She was spared from the regular bland food that her mamma prepared for her. She had to give her aunt Leela a ten on ten when it came to tasty food. Oh! She was the most blessed child under the sun.

Naku sat with little her lap watching Sponge Bob and Square Pants over Nickelodeon, when Roops joined them. "What's up? Why are you so quiet? Anything wrong?"
"Nope, everything's just fine. Your daughter is hardly two; does she even understand Sponge Bob?"
"No, probably not, it's just the shapes that intrigues her. How was your date ... eeerrrmmmm... meeting?"
"Good"
"Yeah, I was wondering so too, it must have been really interesting, since you forgot to switch on your mobile phone." To this Naku's head snapped u from the television.
"What is it Naku? What is bothering you? Tell me."

Naku heaved out a sigh and relayed her entire evening, and how her host was confident that they will meet again, and how he pointed out that there was an ulterior motive that he had planned for her; and how his presumptions distracted her and disturbed the tranquillity of her mind.
"Don't worry, it's just useless premonitions I am sure." Roops said, when Leela dashed out of her room into the living area, her hands-free tucked in her ear, and she screamed at Naku rather sternly, "For the goodness of God, switch on your mobile phone if you have got it back. There is a constant incoming call from your dear Riki, it's disturbing me, I am speaking with Aman here" with eyes big and bulgy, trying to give suggestive signals.

"Does your guys has something for Leela?" asked Roops with a queer look at Naku.
"He keeps calling Leela up, whenever he cannot get through to you. Why can't he ever call me?"
Naku gave her usual matter of fact smile, pulled little Anupama up her lap and said, "Well, he knows that you keep pretty busy, most of the time with serious works, even when you are with Baji over the phone, he knows you are talking about the custody issues, with Leela he hardly has any such issues to associate"
"You better switch it on, it seems he is desperate."
"Yeah, you are right I will call him."
"You should."

Naku smiled took her phone out, when Roops' phone rang and both the girls looked at each other and together blurted out "Riki!" They both ran into Roop's room to receive the call, but the caller id displayed 'Baji'. Naku took her leave went back to the living room, switched on her phone and started punching the key pad.
