I like Dutta beholden to noone...it's a bizarre concept, maybe. There is a fairness in his reactions, I guess. That he can love and get angry with everyone. AND It's actually very realistic. Our significant others or loved ones yell at us occasionally or get upset with us, with cause or not, as we do with them. It happens so why should Naku and Dutta be immune?

Me too. He yells at everyone...but particularly the people that he is close to and expects things from, and loves. That is steeped in reality, so I'm happy to see that.

I am very Dutta-centric for some reason. I like his complexity, his moods, his humanity, and his goodness. There's so much to him, and there is an honesty about him that I love. No pretense, no drama, no self-pity....he just IS, you know what I mean?

But you are so right...I like it when they keep him intact...love, anger, fear, control...everything at once.
