Ch7

After the TaSha wedding the days in PN are all passing in a flurry.Lots of preparations for the TaSha wedding.But all is not well between the lovey couple😕,no1 notices but nakku is getting tense with each passing day that is noticed by dutta. He tries to question her but each time he is interrupted by some or the other pagal niwasis😡. They are not allowed to spend time alone till wedding so its even difficult to get her alone.

Dutta is pondering this when baaji comes in singing 'Mere yaar ki shaadi hai'😆. Baaji-Bhao,apan na vahini ke liye ekdum jhakaas(awesome) sa surprise plan karte hai. Honey wala moon😆 ke liye,kya bolta hai? He sees dutta in deep thoughts and asked,'kya hua,bhao? Tu pareshaan kyu hai?' 😕

Dutta-Pata nahi baaji par aisa lag raha hai ki nakku mujhse kuch chuppa rahi hai.Main uski ankhen padh leta hu(I can read her eyes) Usme mujhe ek darr dikh raha hai..Wo ek pal haste haste chup se ho jati hai. Kya baat hai kahti bhi nahi?😕

Baaji thinks of the Secret and stutters,'Nahi, bhao.aisa kuch bhi nahi hai. Ho sakta shaadi ka itna tamjham(preparations) se thoda ghabra(nervous) gai hai. Phir wo ab sach me aapki patni banane wali hai. Ladki logo ko ye sab thoda sa tension deta hai.'🤔

Dutta thinks of his night with nakku and his date,😳 he doesn't feel that nakku is scared of him or staying with him, he is sure its something else. He looks up and sees baaji fidgeting,'Ab tujhe kya hua? Tu itna kyu ghabraya hai? Tu janta hai kya nakku ki problem ke baare me?'😲

Baaji- bhao,mujhe kya pata? Main aapko jaroor batata.Par mujhe nai maloom. Aise koi baat nahi hai. Koi baat rahi to nakku hi aapko batayegi. Main to shaddi ki tayari ke bare mein soch raha hu.

Dutta- baaji,agar tu janta hai to bol de yahi mukka hai. Main nakku ko pareshan nahi dekh sakta. Wo shayad jijhak(hesitation) se kuch nahi kah rahi. Par tu mera aur nakku dono ka dost hai, tu kah sakta hai.

Baaji- koi baat nahi hai bhao.Aap jayada maat socho.Shaam ko mehendi hai. Aap vahini ke haath me apna naam dundhne ka socho. Varna haar gai to aapni naak kat jayegi.😆

He goes away thinking,'Bhao is doubting things. Nakku and babi should tell him the truth. Its not my truth to tell so I can't say anything. God help me if he knows that I knew it.'

Its Tasha mahendi and sangeet function. Everyone is all decked up and a lot of ribbing and joking is suffered by Tasha. Roops dances to the tunes of 'Mehendi hai rachchne wali'(film zubaida).Baaji rao is watching her with a gobsmacked look on his face,open mouthed. 😳Dutta- baaji, muh bandh kar.😆

Baaji controls himself.😳 The dancers are draging everyone to the centre for dancing. In the end all PN wasis and Tasha are dancing in a crowded floor. Someone by accident drops a glass if juice on nakku. Dutta who is nearby sees it and tells her to clean it up. She says she'll go upstairs and will be back in a jiffy.

On her way up kala calls nakku 'arey nakku tumhari dress. Chalo mere room mein jaldi saaf karlo.'😈

She takes her up to her room and tells her to come down when she is done. Nakku goes into the bathroom and tries to clean up at basin,but its not working so she tries to work the taps but unfortunately she mistakenly switches on the shower and get wet.😲 By the time she can swich off the heavy flow of water she is totally wet and washed. She sees herself in the mirror and panicks. Oh God Everyone is waiting downstairs for her. How can she go out like this?😲

While downstairs AS asks for nakku. Kala tells her she is in her room cleaning up her dress.Dutta- itna samay kyu lag raha hai.Choti(roops) Ja dekh to? Kala smirks.😈

Roops goes up and calls for nakku and tries the door. Its locked from inside,she calls out 'Vahini come fast everyone is waiting. Bhao is supposed to find his name in ur mahendi.'. She knocks again.😕

Nakku Panicks and looks around ,what to do. She spots a small box of Kaajal near the dressing table. She picks it up.😲

Roops is calling out to her,when the door is opened by nakku(she has finished her makeup). Nakku- mujhe daag chutane (remove) mein time lag gaya. Roops-koi baat nahi chalo.😊

They leave the room. A curtain shifts and we can see that a camera has recorded the entire room and the dressing table.

Nakku and roop come downstairs. Nakku is told to sit and dutta is asked to find his name in the intricate design of the mehendi. Dutta looks at it,its a confusing mass of curves,like a maze.😕 He concentrates and traces the lines with his finger😳. Roop swats his hand saying'Bhao, smart mat bano. Naam dundne ke bahane vahini ko sabke samne touch kar rahe ho😳😛. Dur se dundo.😉'

Baaji- aye, bin badal barsaat(other way of saying kabab mein haddi.😆..look whos talking😛) Bhao dundh to raha hai na.disturb mat kar.😡

Roops makes a face😛.Dutta is very irritated as he can't find his name,he knows if he can't find it then he'll never hear the end of this. He looks up at nakku for a clue, he begs her with his eyes. 😳She smiles and quietly looks down at her hand. Dutta follows her gaze and there it is. Interwoven between all the flowers and curves is the letter 'S'.😃 Dutta understands why he couldn't find his name. He was looking for a 'D' but he is not Dutta for his sweet nakku, he is her Saab,always had been,always would be. For the first time he felt that word like a caress, a lover's name for the other- not a clinical form of formality.😳😳 He looks up triumphantly and shows it to all with pride. All the boys cheer him while the girls groan as they have lost. Dutta still gives them a wad of money as shagun(gift),this cheers them up.😃

The party goes on.😃

The next morning is the Tasha haldi. The owner of a famous resort had asked that he would be honoured to host the event and the wedding at his resort. Dutta who wanted the wedding to be different and better then the earlier supriya faisco, had agreed. TaSha were made to sit separately for the evnt and AS and Babi they all apply haldi to the couple.😃

Nakku is then shown into the bridal suite to wash and bathe. She washes her face in the basin while doing it,kala barges in on pretext of telling something.😈

Nakku is startled and turns around while her haldi,dark color are all running down showing har fair skin . 😲

Kala acts surprised and horrified.'Ye sab kya hai,nakku? Itna bada dhoka? Kyu? Bhao ko pata chalega to? Aaj tumhari shaadi hai shaam ko. '😲

Nakku breaks down and tells her everything. 😭She tells her she had tried telling saab many times but had to stop because she got cold feet thinking of his hate for beautiful girls. She doesn't want to lose him. Babi had promised to tell dutta but she is also scared of his reaction. What should she do? Nakku says that if saab starts hating me again then I will simply die.i can't go through his hate and pain again.😭😭

Kala thinks for sometime,'Nakku, tu sahi kah rahi hai. Bhao, will be very angry if you tell him about this, but he would never say no to his kala tai.😡 Tu ghabbra mat(don't be scared) Bhao ko main sach bata dungi. Tu thodi der mein hotel ke pichche ke swimming pool ke pass aja. Main dutta ko waha lati hu.'😈

Kala turns and is abt to leave but stops and says,'Sun, tu apne kale chahre me aana fir hum ye rang uske samne hi nikalenge. Is tarah wo apni ankho se apni nakku ka asli khubsurat chehra dekh lega'😈

Nakku smiles and is relived. She goes to get ready.Kala smirks and says the bhala bura dialogue.😈

Dutta has just come out of the bath, he very happy and humming to himself. He open a drawer and takes out a box. In this box he had kept his gift for nakku. He knows how much nakku belives in maariage and that symbolises this tie😳. So he had bought for her a very pretty MS and a sindoor ka box. He takes some sindoor in his hand and looks in the mirror thinking of nakku putting it on her head and smiles.😳

A busboy comes in with a packet and gives it to dutta. It has a note and a cd. The note told him that if he wanted to get married today without any interruption he must watch the cd. Dutta is curious and incenced.😡😲 Afterall its a challenge for him. He watches the cd, its a footage of fair nakku with morey when he was forcing her to marry him. Dutta since he doesn't recognise her is puzzeled. Then the screen moves to the footage of fair nakku applying the makeup to become dutta's dark nakku. Dutta is shocked.😲 He then notices something else written on the note. 'If you want to know the truth about ur loving wife then come to the swimming pool. U might also get to know about her previous fiances. U are not the only in this marriage with a long string of exes involved.'

Flashbacks of previous wedding, seema,sups etc come to his mind. He blanches about being made a fool by a girl a third time. He thinks of his time with nakku and calms down some. Its a trick she will never do something this bizzare. She is to innocent to cook up schemes. He'll talk to her and she'll explain and he'll find the culprit and kill him...maybe he'll let baaji kill him its his wedding afterall.😡

He goes out and screams for nakku. Evryone is surprised seeing him so angry when he was so haapy minutes ago. Nakku kaha hai? Baaji- kya hua Bhao? 'Maine puchcha nakku kaha hai.'😡

AS- dutta kya o raha hai?'AS aap bech me mat pado nakku kaha hai.'

Leela 'wo swimming pool ki taraf gai hai.maine pucha to kaha thodi der mein aajayegi'😕

AS-tumne usey akele kyu jaane diya. Dulhan ko akele nahi chodte.😲

Dutta had already started going towards the pool. All PN wale follow.

Meanwhile nakku is waiting for dutta. She looks at her reflection in the pool, thinking all is going to be fine now. Just then somone gives her a push she get dis-balanced and topples in the pool with a scream. The person who pushed her runs away.Dutta and others hear nakku scream and he rushes to save her. Dutta sees nakku drowning and jumps in after her.😲 He saves her and brings her out. Her face is covered with her hair. He lays her on the pool chair and removes her hair. He gets the shock of his life. This is not his nakku its an imposter😕. Or maybe his nakku was a imposter.(the screen freezes on evryone face once😲😲😲😲😲. 360 degree camera close up of dutta😲😲)

Nakku opens her green eyes and looks up to see dutta,looking at her in shock. She realises what happened. S..saab?😭

AS-Nakku😲..Dutta gets up and moves away. He turns his back and remembers the cd and note. He is totally confused. Babi ushes in 'meri bachchi ,tu teek hai na.🤢' AS- babi ye sab kya hai?Dutta?😲

Kala- main batati hu ye sab kya hai.Ye ladki aur iska pura parivar choro ka aur dhokebaazo(cheaters) ka parivar hai. Baap,logo se paise churata hai. Bhao,ke bussiness se bhi. Maa beti loggo ko fastey hai.😈

Bhao, maine pehele hi kaha tha inpe bharosa mat kar.😈

Baaji- tai, ye aap kya kah rahi hai? Nakku aise nahi hai. 😡

Babi- aisa nahi hai. Ye sb meri galti hai. Maine hi meri beti ko aise rakha hai. Usse duniya se bachane. Us din bhi saab ne usse aise hi rakshas se bachaya tha. 🤢

SO Sorry for late up date..i'll try to complete the FR update before I leave for kolkata. I didn't want to leave the story in acliffhanger like they do on serials but.. lack of time has just made this so..
