Oh yeah even I've gotten that feeling listening to the Agneepath soundtrack...for some reason Hrithik's role in it seems to have a lot of shades of Dutta as well I'd say...plus that entire Marathi background probably makes it even more similar...So yes somewhere the music has this eerie quality to it that instantly reminds me of the universe that was LTL...ahh the epic days.

Yep, that I did! 😆
I haven't kept track of the film itself as much as I have been listening to the sountrack, but from whatever I've seen I do agree about the shades of Dutta being present in the role. The Marathi sound is definitely an instant connection, and that's what I love most about the soundtrack...The fact that it makes me think of the EPIC that LTL was! I can't even think of anything except for DN's relationship when I hear those two songs (and Deva Shree Ganesha has been on repeat for hours now for that very reason! 😆 Even though it seems to be a festive song, when I heard it I felt that it has a lot of strength and a dark undertone; it's like Dutta's struggles and Naku's faith in Bappa conveyed in a song. Or maybe I'm just missing LTL WAY too much.) Needless to say, I loved the music/songs in the show! Aah, the amount of heart and soul that this show had...Never again will we get something like this. A modern epic in every sense.

Modern epic it was indeed...in a league of it's own that way...listening to these songs really made me miss LTL a lot more too.

Ah, I have all three of those on repeat! 😆 Word about the songs and the way they fit Dutta and Naku perfectly...Your VMs nearly made me cry...I got all choked up during Abhi Mujh Mein and was half-smiling-half-trying-not-to-get-teary-eyed throughout both of them!
Here we go, proper feedback!
"Abhi mujh mein kahin baaki thodi si hai zindagi..."
Each and every line is perfection - it's like this IS Dutta, these are his thoughts being brought to the surface...
"Ab hai saamne, isse chhoo loon zara...Marr jaaoon ya jee loon zara...Khushiyaan choom loon ya ro loon zara...Marr jaaoon ya jee loon zara..." - This...Every scene you used...Speechless.
You know what, you've put in literally ALL of my favorite scenes from LTL's last few months. Of course the list is endless, but like I said in my YT comment, some of MR-MV's best moments are right there, and I'm going to watch the "Phir se bol" scene and the others right after I finish typing this up!
Honestly, this isn't a very articulate post since I basically felt like drowning in the beauty of the expressions (vocal and visual) in that VM! Thanks so much for making this, Anu!

Aww thank you so much, Borna🤗 I'm glad it touched you so much...the song is just sooo poignant...the lyrics...like the ones you pointed out...I think they have that quality of making a person choke up...I felt emotional listening to the song each time too. Yes, these are some of my fav. scenes too...especially in the last few days we got...some of MR/MV's best work without a doubt as you said.

Don't thank me, Anu! Honestly, I'm just happy to see such lovely LTL VMs from you and all the other talented vidders every once in a while - keeping the essence alive, although it can never really die 🤗 I was reading through some of the EDTs from last spring and felt (for the millionth time) how incredibly lucky I was to stumble upon this gem of a show purely by chance! And such a dedicated forum, too! The discussions were a major highlight for me, as was the uncanny ability for people to pick the most apt songs for VMs 😆 As for this particular song, yes, it is indeed very, very poignant...Mission accomplished for the creators, na? Very thoughtful and hopeful... "Tere aane se andhere raaston mein bhi ujaala ho jaayega, Naku..."

Oh, man. I'm kind of just bowled over by Abhi Mujh Mein...like Borna said, could it be annny more perfect for Dutta? It gave me goosebumps with the scenes you chose...where he looks so either contemplative or on the verge of stumbling on to contentment...that look on his face in the beginning scene where he walks into the house and looks around at the dinning table...how do you describe it? 😊 So extremely touching...what a fantastic VM, Anu...this couldn't have embodied that journey Dutta undertook from having nothing to live for to to regaining the zest for love, life, belief with Nakku in his life any more...

It's so odd...that on the other hand O Saiyaan fits Nakku so perfectly :speakles:...freakishly uncanny! "Tune gardishon ke leh badal di..." Ah, that just sums it all up! Loved these, Anu...you captured and made me revisit that depth and soul DN had in and between themselves :worship: Best characters to be written on Indian tv for years.

Aww thank you so much, Fatty 🤗...yeah it really was uncanny how the songs were such perfect fits for D and N...their journey with each other, what they meant to each other, how their lives changed with each other...that is why toh I felt the urge to make these...it's always hard to find songs for D and N...but these are possibly the most perfect songs ever for them...Agneepath could very well be their story in some ways.

I absolutely love the haunting tone to 'tune gardishon ki leh badal di'...one of my fav. lines in that song😍
