Lovely VM Anu 😊 Coincidentally, it's Roopkumar Rathod for you again! Looks like he is back in business! Potential break in B'wood. Anyway, the song itself is so beautifully sung! I loved loved the overwhelming musical end to the VM actually -which is good because anything should have a good start, middle and end. For me, the ending with DN's hug just clinched it and made me SMILE! And what I really liked is the way in which you used scenes to convey that DN were thinking of those moments, building up to the hug. Really nice!

LOL yeah I guess it's Roopkumar Rathod for me again...I absolutely fell in love with the song when I heard it and it was again a case of a song that INSTANTLY made me feel like it was just MADE for DN...every line, the haunting melody...it was like Nakku narrating her story.

Glad you liked the ending :-) My personal fav. portion is the 'mere aasmaan se' portion in the end...it just felt so haunting each time I heard the song also that I couldn't help but make something on DN using it...it felt like it was literally Nakku's story.

Another classic song that, like you said, Anu, seems like it was made for DN! When I first heard it, the melody, lyrics, and texture of the song all fit with the sort of mood LTL evoked - it definitely feels like Naku's story being articulated! That's why I LOVE the fact that you made this VM on those particular scenes with this song. Such a beautiful composition. Very soulful!

On an aside, I just realized tonight that there's so much of Ajay-Atul's music in LTL. Well, not "so much" but their musical touch makes me think of LTL/DN instantly - at least the songs I've been listening to from Agneepath (Deva Shree Ganesha and O Saiyyan) seem like they're from that little universe. Then there's the infamous Chamm Chamm, which I had no idea they had composed! LOL! And their version of the Ganapati Atharvashirsha. Okay, I'm going to stop spamming :P

Oh yeah even I've gotten that feeling listening to the Agneepath soundtrack...for some reason Hrithik's role in it seems to have a lot of shades of Dutta as well I'd say...plus that entire Marathi background probably makes it even more similar...So yes somewhere the music has this eerie quality to it that instantly reminds me of the universe that was LTL...ahh the epic days.
