On a serious note, coming back to the actual topic. I don't think the changed attire means Dutta has changed. So bring back the clothes is fine, but bring back the man??? Kuch samajh nahi aaya. His reaction to Baaji's outburst was exactly what he would have been in those kurtas and ear-rings intact! It is important to feel the character and no, clothes are not the only identity! If it were, then even the most intriguing scene of him tying Mangalsutra on his wrist was done without his "kurta" - but perhaps you were all swooning over his bare chest 😛 To be Dutta, he does not need to wear Kurtas, although i am not defending the atrocious choice of costume at all - but perhaps, as someone who has never been fashion conscious, he cannot just walk in silk-shirts or Armaani! Dutta is a character who has never really bothered about fashion and perhaps does not even know the best ways to dress - he just wants to feel this change in himself and experience some bliss in love that he is feeling from within. So changing into shirts does not mean he is not Dutta. May be, over a period, if he chooses to stay with this new wardrobe, he may add some decent looking shirts in there and take those odd looking blazers out - although i have a BIG BIG doubt whether the Kurtas have been discarded at all! I don't think that can happen! 😊
