Yaar I don't know why but I've seen all the episodes with great scrutiny and I still do not see anything "romantic" or even remotely "in love" about Kala's behavior towards Dutta. To me, it always seemed to be about her power hold on him and subsequently the house. His approval and control over him makes her the most powerful person at her home - and Dutta's power on the people around him (the Aam Junta and all) would be transferred to her when she controls him. Everything she's done so far - from her attempts to sit next to him to her attempt and throwing Nakku out of his life is to ensure that she is the female counterpart to his power. That if he holds the position as the "man" of the house, then she gets to be the most powerful woman of the house. And that has nothing to do with her wanting to be "his" woman. At all. At least to me.. But this could just be one of those times where I'm wrong. And also one of those times when we see things differently.. 😆

Coming to Dutta pointing out Naku's lack of looks. I have had this feeling lately that though Dutta really really loves her...he somewhere finds security in her ugliness and also maybe in her lack of education, social status or world-wiseness. He was betrayed by people like that and a simple girl like Naku wouldnt have much choice but to stick to him since she blindly looks upto him. He will continue to drive the relationship.

I don't know if her lack of education is something that Dutta thinks will hold her to him - that will prevent her from leaving. I think to Dutta, anyone who's educated doesn't see past someone's exterior. Parhey likhey ho toh all you see is someone else's degrees and their job. All those so called educated women dismissed him and treated him like trash because they thought his lack of education made him expendable. I think Dutta feels that because Nakku doesn't have any set prejudices like education, money or need for social standing she's going to give him a fair chance. That if she cares for him, it will be for him and not for his money or power. He doesn't think Nakku will stick with him because she won't know any better. I feel he thinks it's because she will know the best of him and love him for it.. 🤔😆

The beauty factor is important as then he is assured like the previous 2 women this one will not have the choice offered by another man. Its not that he is chosing Naku as she is ugly...that choice is out of his hands...he would have fallen for her anyway. But he is chosing to commit to naku and trust her because she has not only proven she loves him, is trust-worthy but also because she is ugly. That in his mind is assuring him he isnt taking a wrong step this time.

I understand that he feels a sense of security due to her lack of looks. That if he likes her in spite of her looks, then she is less liable to be the wrong person. That he is less liable to be confusing his "attraction" towards her as love. But I wonder if that is fair of him. To judge Nakku on her LACK of beauty - just as it's unfair to fall for someone based on how they look, shouldn't it be unfair to expect everyone beautiful to be a b**ch in disguise? I don't think he feels that Nakku won't have a choice though - I mean he's said it before too that any guy who lets her go would be a gadha because kya kharabi hai Nakku mein? I feel this is more on him than on her - HE feel that her lack of beauty makes his decision valid in some way. He is trying to get away from every trait the previous two women had. Because to him, any one of those traits was the reason for their betrayal. I think he needs to understand that it was their character and their lack of sensibilities that hurt him. Not their beauty. Ugly people can be just as brutal and beautiful people can be very understanding too.

I mean I had such a mess of emotions going through me k I just wrote what I wrote without really formatting it much.. But I'm glad you decided to comment - I absolutely appreciate it! 😳😃

I think today's was actually one of the best & most emotive episodes of LTL. Today's episode showed us the real Dutta. One wonders how a man like Dutta who does not think even once before killing someone can actually be so fragile.. Mishal potrayed the two warring emotions of anger & hurt beautifully. (He is a brilliant actor & has proved it again in LTL after love story)There were no screaming words, no throwing of things around just simple questions.

There was no dramatics and I LOVED that! I hate it when people go the yelling/fuming/throwing tantrums way in a confrontation. I mean it's so fake and it makes them seem like such drama queens! 🤣

It was almost like he was talking to himself trying to understand the 2 facets of Nakku's truth.. one that she loves him and second her refusal to the marriage proposal.. but to him how was that even possible. To him Nakku is a person who could never hurt him even unknowingly.. To me it felt like in his questions to Nakku he was actually questioning himself.. He was wondering if he had done something wrong. He never once doubted Nakku's feelings for him or else he would not have challanged her to say she doen't love him.

Agree, agree, agree! He knew that what he knew about Nakku's feeling for him was true - he had no doubt about it. But he also know that she refused the proposal. And to him there was something that he had failed to understand in the situation or miscalculated. He didn't know what it was but he was trying so hard to understand. Was it the fact that he had misjudged her feeling for him? Or was he being unable to understand the reality of what was bothering her?! And when he finally understood that it was the later, he dared her to tell him otherwise. To tell him he's wrong, that she doesn't love him and that it isn't something else that's holding her back - while he simultaneously waited for her to confess her love and also what is bothering her. *sigh* Both of these guys are such hard heads with it comes to each other - and that's what I absolutely love about them! They'll fight anyone to make sure that the other doesn't get hurt - even each other!

Also loved the Chulbul Pandey - Nakku conversation not just for Sallu but the fact that this conversation hopefully will lead to Nakku telling the truth about her beauty. Egarly waiting for tommorrow's episode now.

I know! A lot of people feel Salman Khan's role could have been meatier but I feel it was perfect. We didn't need another character, we needed someone who could walk in, give Nakku advice and then be forgotten. And Nakku really could not talk to anyone else at home about this - even if someone else gave her the same advice, she would have always doubted their intention or the origin of that advice. Was it because they were biased towards her or that they were biased towards Dutta? Or that they just didn't understand!? But a man with no ties to her past, present or future giving her the same advice is much more objective to understand and believe. At least I feel so.. 😳

BTW Fivr, if you write so well when you r out of practice I wonder how good your post would be if u were in practice... & thts a complement.

Aww dude! You flatter me - really! 😳 Trust me, THIS is just ramblings. Lol, I used to do this before too - between February and May aur tab bhi kuch ziyada awesome nahi hoti theen. I think I am just prone to rambling on and nothing else.. 😆😆

if you look at it that way isnt it very poignant....someone so rich, powerful and good-looking...and yet he doesnt find the acceptance he demands. I am not saying a educated, moneyed and status conscious woman wont marry him but he knows that it will be purely for the money and power. Thats something not acceptable to him. To Dutta anything less than a soul-mate is a compromise he refuses to make.


Wohi toh! I've always liked this about Dutta - he's willing to give his all for those he cares about. But then he expects the same. If he loves someone for who they are and not what their pockets hold or their skin color is then he expects the same for himself. And anything less is unacceptable! Can I tell Dutta that I don't need money or beauty - that he will do just as he is..? 🤣 *innocent muh*

Oooo...now that you say it you might be right. You know since that inception like dream I have been confused by Dutta repeatedly talking abt her ugliness or dark skin. Thats very unlike Dutta. Now that you put it...u cud be right. This time he knows this is love but not infatuation/attraction towards a pretty face. This time a woman's pretty face isnt blinding him towards the character flaws he should have seen before they betrayed him.


You know I strongly feel so too - because anything else is way out of character for him and refuse to believe that the CVs who have the entire LTL's character sketch down to a T would make such a blunder! *determined muh*

Oh Fivr...cant say how much I enjoyed dissecting the epi with u today...just like the old times!

Yaar I really feel that it was a dam that broke within Nakku. She's been holding back for so long that when someone even remotely sincere asked her, she fell apart and said everything. She needed a stranger to talk to - someone who wouldn't know her past and wouldn't judge her for it, someone who she won't see again or have to worry about later. I honestly know how refreshing and liberating it is to talk to a stranger so I for one understand her need to say it all to him and open herself to his advice - no matter how mundane it may seem, coming from anyone else wouldn't have had the same effect for her. In my opinion, at least.. LMAO! Oye khaney ki baat na kar yaar! Abhi bhi thora time hai roza khulney mein.. 🤣🤣🤣 But he's Robinhood Pandey yaar! Thora toh tashan chalta hai! 🤣🤣🤣
