The opening paragraph was so great and perfectly written. That was exactly what went through my mind when I saw that shot of him walking towards her. He had to swallow hard as he approached her and his eyes betrayed him as they were showing his vulnerability. He was looking her up and down like he'd been craving for her to come to him and now she was there, he was apprehensive about what 'reason' she'd give for her actions. MR surpassed himself in that one moment so imagine my reaction to the rest of the scene when he actually starting speaking!

"She's made him question EVERYTHING he knows about her" ' exactly! That was why I was frustrated with her for not being honest in the first place.

Yeah, I know but can we really hold her frustration against her? I mean, being in an emotional turmoil WHILE being in love (which a strong influential emotion in it self!)?! What seems logical and easy to us, might not be the same for a person so deeply in love as Nakku - whose existence is primarily consisting of making sure that the one she loves doesn't feel any pain because of her. At least not intentionally. And since she isn't deriving any pleasure from refusing his proposal here (and is in more pain than him) then maybe it' something that she can live with? Sort of like the lesser of two evils..? Maybe..? 😳😆

For someone like Dutta was is self-deprecating, to keep getting knocked back in 'love' is driving him slowly insane. He is questioning whether he'll ever be able to read people properly or will they continue to make a fool of him.

Isn't that been a touchy subject for him always?! I mean, when he was telling Nakku about Seema, he claimed to know how to judge people now just by a look. And then when Supriya's deal went wrong he was all embarrassed/enraged at being unable to judge her. And now with Nakku - the fact that he feels like he doesn't know her just leaves him fumbling in the dark.

"If he is certain that there are other reasons that she isn't sharing with him, then she is certain that sharing everything with him will not be helpful to him - *sigh* HOW do you get out of this dead lock." ' I didn't see it from this perspective. Now I'm more willing to understand Naku's decision was not completely out of cowardice but in part that she presumed reiterating her love for him would not help him leave her.

Valid point Fivr. His comparison of Naku's good qualities were measured up by her lack of beauty, education and worldly understanding. It was a compliment but an odd one too as it only increased her inner dilemma over her truth. Again, the CVs are cleverly leaving these markers to justify Naku keeping her secret a little while longer. E.g. Baaji stating that Dutta trusts Naku implicitly and she shouldn't break his trust as that would be the end of him.

The 'Aur Tu' was the best part about the episode for me. He cares about her as much as she does him. These two are really so beautiful in their love for one another.

"She couldn't say "Yes" and negate her refusal but she couldn't say "No" and deny her existence too" ' Thankfully, Naku stayed true to this trait of hers. It was vital they kept her character in tact because this has been the soul of the character; her undying, unwavering, unconditional love and devotion to Dutta. She would die a thousand deaths but she cannot say she does not love him!

I'll leave you to dissect Kala. Her power-mad ways are beyond me at times. I'll take your word for it that her lack of humanity is part and parcel of her need for power and money. You are right about the slip of tongue with AS proving that her feelings are not some Greek tragedy. It all boils down to pure sibling rivalry.

Again, I don't know if the power struggle is caused by sibling rivalry or if the sibling rivalry is caused by the power struggle i.e. I can't say for sure if the fact that she wants all this power is because Dutta has it and she's always in a one-upmanship match with him. OR that she's in that constant fight with him BECAUSE he has this power which is something she wants.. *hopes this made sense* 😆😆

Baaji is adorable nah. He is like the younger brother who cannot handle seeing his family hurting. Baaji is all about the quick-fix so he wants her to tell him the problem so he knows there'll be a solution. This is Baaji's coping mechanism, he thinks practically.

Indeed. Robinhood Pandey brought that objectivity into the situation. He simplified the issue for her. Tell him and let him decide, she can give the man she loves that much and also be freed from her lies.

Now have we not be raving on about this since they came back from Anna's. Ah if only I were doing a cameo, I doubt I would have been as gentle with my advice as Pandey was...hehe.
