Yeah lets provide feedback to colors even if its good feedback. For most shows we provide feedback after they turn crappy. Lets not wait for that.

Lets also try our best to get the star rankings up. The CM ranking of LTL is good...but lets not be complacent.

Awesome Shreya, I have added these items to my calendar as a reminder .....

guys, pls set reminders on your calendar....although, LTL has moved to 8:30pm, having lived in india for so long, I know that 8:30pm is a prime slot....that slot is also challenging and extremely competing......unfortunately TPRs are not in our hand, bcoz we do not know Who is chosen in the sample for TPRs, but what is in our hand is the PR for it.....

I have been constantly doing the PR for LTL since 22nd june.....and I am proud to say that I have included all my relatives, my aunts, their kitty party members, and traversed through the branches......bcoz most of the time these housewives are responsible for the TRPs.....

so, spread the word to anyone and everyone....make them watch some awesome scenes, tell them LTL stories in a way tht touches them to the core...speak ur heart out.....

If sitting in US, I can do it, so can u .....Dont take it lightly, dont think that what I, one person can do....You never know, the one person you inspire to watch LTL, might be part of the TRP sample!!!....so, lets spread the word....

LTL and LTLians...Hurray!!!

I agree with you DD...now two people whom I can certainly make to watch now are my mom and sis. I am embarrassed to say I havent been able to 'convert' them so far. But the 8.30pm slot is convenient for them so maybe I might finally succeed.

Shreya, my personal opinion is that shows that attract housewives take away the max TPRs!!....and these housewives usually sleep by 9:30-10pm.....atleast all the housewives I know (and I know 100s of them) have this schedule because they need to get up early in the morning for their daily chores....They usually cover up the evening soaps, in the afternoon slots....

hence, 8:30pm is much more busier slot than 9:30pm or 10pm...the reason 10pm slots gather huge TPRs is because quiet few ppl are left to watch at that time and the denominator (total no. of ppl) decreases, resulting in the increase of ratings...whereas the 8:30pm slot, the denominator is high which results in many soaps, eating some or the other chunk of the TPRs!....thats why u wuld see 8:30pm TPRs less than 10pm slots....That does not mean LTL is less viewed than other color serials ...but unfortunately, its the absolute number that speaks here....yeah yeah....I am giving lot of mathematics gyaan, but I really wanted to get to the root of TPRs and hence, I have studied it hard!!

Well KZK ruled the 8.30 pm slot with high trps for 7-8 years. After that Kis Des did well in the same slot. So I feel as long as LTL continues in the top 10...we are good. I really dont want it to be the top show like Uttaran/BV. The focus of the channel is more then resulting in crappy tracks. Being no. 2/3 for the channel keeps it below the radar. I agree that also results in less promos but I guess the current level of promos has been enuf to sustain the show till now so it shld be fine in the future too.

hmmm...v good point....Just tht when u r giving decent TRPs and if u slip (which every show does some or the other time, even if it is for few days), they go on an avg TPR and then the these serials get into channel radar.....as long as the desired TRPs are given, the channel will keep away from interfering....if they think that TPRs are slipping, they wuld initially interfere in the story track.....so, I wuld prefer concentrating on increasing TPRs at our own level.....Have high TPRs rather than be at borderline or just above it....anyways, lets just work on increasing TPRs.....I just hope channel doesnt interfere with LTL tracks...The CVs are very hatke but all channels think like Ekta!!
