I feel there is more abt Who we find is attractive/ beautiful or not.. its abt the character the same women plays with two faces. Its abt the feel which we get after seeing her with or without makeup, which should remain the same.. i feel every time she has removed her black color.. The feel was the same for me as a viewer i was still able to connect with her.. and with her pain .. The only time i was skeptical was when nakusha was talking to her shadow .. "the shadow" was the one i wasn't able to digest..
but then nakusha didnt give an ear to her..😊

initially i found nakuhsa to be ugly.. but i still loved her ...infact i was pissed when the go a bit lighter with tone.. but then i made my self understand that, there lies the basic concept of the show..

It's such a bizarre thing, because the difference will be so drastic in appearance. I think our Naku right now is more loved, we sympathize with her, her hardships in life, the humiliation heaped on her for her appearance, how her dark appearance made her feel like she had no chance at happiness, that she was not good enough for Dutta. I think that's what it is...we sympathized with Naku...we felt for her. Perhaps, we will feel the same way when the true face is revealed, though as you said, it may take a little bit of time.

i agree...i really loved the idea of nakku being dark skinned and after watching the show for a long time and seeing dutta and nakku together [with the dark colour nakku], i seriouslly feel that when the colour comes off, the main idea of falling in love with a person like her isn't exactly there. Even though dutta has fallen in love with her [dark-skinned], it may not be the same for the audience and the theme.
The audience connectS to her [pretended] physical appearance and the hardships she faces in life. I mean in real life, people can't exactly become so beautiful or have the chance which nakku has. it would have been really interesting to see nakku keeping her true colours and dutta loving her so greatly that it would not affect him what the people around him say about their relationship and shuts them up if they say anything against nakku. That kind of love that is unaffected and unwavering....it would have been great to see. i think if dutta was a real person he would be loving nakku more after the beauty...knowing she is so beautiful. [obviouslly i am not talking about the character in the serial...he actually would go the other way]
anywayz, i too would actually miss the true theme...and dark nakku. i mean all the build up of the story...love...all those scenes/moments....

I would have preferred it if Naku was dark ... it would have much better than having a fair Naku who is forced to put black soot on herself

The entire appeal of Nakusha is in her dark skin. The premise of the story is also based largely on the hardships faced by people who lack qualities that are considered a must by most people (wealth, beauty). I truly wonder if she'll have the same attraction for me once she is revealed be a beauty. During the lake scene the water image Nakusha really looked like a scheming maid out to entrap her straight employer. But the one sitting beside the lake had my heart melting for her. I don't mean she should keep applying black paint on her face and get called rude names all her life.Even Anna didn't miss opportunity to humiliate her, he made her a scarecrow!
But fact also remains that Dutta deserves the best of both worlds. After all the heartbreak at the wedding its fitting that he should get a wife much more prettier and with so much more substance than the other shallow muck headed woman. This may not be important for Dutta but to those who love him and also those who wish him harm this is truly poetic justice. So its only fair that once all this Anna business is over the true Nakusha should be revealed.

But if instead of giving us a super model, they show us a naku who is pretty but doesnt know how to dress as don's wife, n she is shown learning it step by step, then we might b able to feel for her....i mean it shudnt b like the moment her face color is revealed, she seem to know abt. everything ......i dont know how to express my feelings in words but i guess u got the drift

nice post
i wnt her tru face 2 b revealed..but thn wen i give a thought to the show's concept--her fair face goes against the original concept of the shw... wich it abt ugly naku n the problems her family face...
its hard 2 say whethr naku shud remain dark or fair... as long as the CV's hav a good storyline to keep the audience attached to the shw i dnt think her face color wil b a problem eventually we wil gt used 2 her fair face
