Losing our Dark Naku means...

I thought about this the other day and only now got around to posting on it.

We're pretty much all attached to the only Naku we've known...the dark Naku. All the wonderful scenes with Dutta, her sacrifices, her innocence...all have been with our dark Naku. She is loving, innocent, and humble.

I wonder how we are going to feel when Naku's real face is shown. How will we react? Yes, on a conscious level, we know that it is the same Naku, heart and soul. But are we so already attached to her overall appearance and demeanor that what if that changes even slightly?

A lot has to do with how the CVs manage her character...eg no changes in script, no changes in mannerisms. But will it look different, and as a result, believable? This whole thing feels on par with a new actress coming in and playing Naku, in a strange sort of way.

I almost feel like we're going to lose Naku altogether, although that is definitely not true. I'm curious what your perspective is.

I agree with you 100%. I am going to miss the old Naku so bad. Not only have I gotten used to her but I never ever thought she was ugly (well i could have done without the unibrow though). When I see Tasha together, It comes to my mind that these two are made for eachother. I rarely ever remember that Naku has soot on her face.They look so good together. When we see fair Naku, it will be like there is some other actress playing the part. I am sure that it will take me some time to get used to them. I may be the only one on the forum who is dreading the day when Naku's true color is revealed. Not to mention, it always seemed to me that Mahi acts much better when she appears dark. LTL will never be same.

It's such a bizarre thing, because the difference will be so drastic in appearance. I think our Naku right now is more loved, we sympathize with her, her hardships in life, the humiliation heaped on her for her appearance, how her dark appearance made her feel like she had no chance at happiness, that she was not good enough for Dutta. I think that's what it is...we sympathized with Naku...we felt for her. Perhaps, we will feel the same way when the true face is revealed, though as you said, it may take a little bit of time.

The story could unveil as follows. Dutta somehow finds out about Nakku's innocence regarding the Supriya fiasco and also that someone from PN had framed her and also did not want his happiness. He conveys to Nakku that he is aware of her innocence but needs her help in finding out the real betrayer. At that time Nakku reveals to him her true avataar and lets him know about the reasons behind hiding her true face. She lets him know of Morey's true intention etc. It is at that time Dutta tells her to continue with her black makeup infront of the family till the true betrayer is found. This way Nakku will continue applying the black makeup when infront of the family but in the privacy of their bedroom she will be her trueself just for her husband's eyes only. This will give the viewers time to get used to her new look. 😆😆😆😆

Well I know its gonna be really very hard for us to except the fair Nakku as we are so much used to seeing our dear Nakku in black make-up.. But come on yaar its our Nakku and we want her with Dutta.. And the most important thing is we want pure love to prevail between them and pure love comes with trust and honesty.. So I think there should be no secrets between them.. I know it would take some time for us to get used to her real face but as the serial progresses we would surely get used to her.

WEll, thats how its supposed to be Gp, whether we like it or not.. but i feel makers had taken that under consideration, thats why they had shown nakusha with her true self many times so that When the time came, it wouldn't be hard for us viewers.

But there is one request, i also like whatever that has been shown in the form of fair nakusha, It wasnt that hard.. but they have to be VERY VERY Careful... so as the ACTRESS. the innocence should not be tempered with.. it should remain the way like it is ... I wont tolerate if i See even a single bit of Mahi in nakusha.

i agree with sara. i like the scenes (including the song/dream scenarios) with the fair naku too and 1 of my fave scenes is nakkku in the garden with babi and dutta on the balcony. the point is as long as the character of nakku is portrayed as well as it has been...then its not an issue for me.

I know its weird but somehow I find the dark Naku much more appealing and attractive than the fair one...so i'll miss the dark Naku...though somehow I feel it will be a very long time till they reveal her fair look.....atleast another month...so lets enjoy naku as is....
