Aana is ruthless - he doesn't just kill. Even his own men - remember he made it painful for him by stabbing his fingers and what not. If that is what he does to torture one of his own men imagine the intensity of torture tenfold over when it comes to an enemy like Dutta. Dutta's soft spot is not being physically captured or personally hurt but his family and those under his protection. Aana knows the mind game all too well like Lovestruck mentioned.

I think Dutta will remain unconscious till he reaches PN...and Anna will take Naku both as a safeguard against Baji and BGs and as a bait for Dutta...As for Kala's stopping Dutta, I think it will take place face to face rather than over the phn....No ways is Dutta returning to PN w/o Naku if he's awake...

As for Anna's thinking , I think Anna is playing on the card that Naku is Dutta's wife...the kidnapping of his wife, right in his presence , and from him own ilaaka (remember Dutta saying agar hum ghar ke paas hain?) is a question of honor and prestige for Dutta...it will undermine his own status in the eyes of his own people if he lets Anna get away with it...and that is the premise of Anna's thinking...he has no knowledge of Dutta's realisation of love....so that aloneis his reason for kidnapping Naku . Realisation of his love will be the foremost motivation for Dutta....who will now go behind Anna with all guns blazing...Somehow i feel the knife that Dada gives Dutta will be used by him to kill Anna...a befitting way to avenge Dada...
