Hey Misses Universe, World, Outer Space and Milky Way. I'm just dropping in to say a short hello to the forum. I might be offline soon again- or not, who knows 😆I'm so exhausted. I do love summertime, but it's exhausting. And on top of that I had to save my almost four year old girl from almost drowning today and her twin brother just came down with a fever. Oh, well. What a day😳

See this is why I don't even go near the water! Well no, that's not why.. I don't go near the water becasue I don't know how to swim.. *realizes that's probably why she'll drown if she ever tries* 🤣

Soraya (that's her name) isfine. She wanted to go back into the water just seconds after I pulled her out of it 😲

I was watching her and her friend from the shore. They weren't too deep but kids at that age can even drown in a puddle. I didn't see though how she lost balance or whatever else happened, but suddenly she was fighting not to drown and panicking of course, what made it even worse. I ran into the water, my cell still in my pocket, grabbed her arm and pulled her out. I was dripping wet and lucky that I didn't wear white today 😳But, oh God, these seconds between seeing her going under and panicking and getting there 😕

I love the water. I'm from the sea, a small fishermen's village in Northern Spain and now I live at the harbour here (in Hamburg). The kids sure do love the water too. But today I decided to show them how to swim properly as soon as possible😕

I absolutely CANNOT imagine how that must have been like - but if it makes any sense at all, I have a younger sister who I literally raised from when she was a baby because my mom was busy at work. So if I ever see her in a situation like this, I think I might forget to breathe till I get her to safety.. 😳

Really? I'm from a coastal city too - but it was more metropolitan which is probably why I'm still not that attached to the water. Plus whenever we went to the beach, my uncles made it their personal vendetta to pick me up and throw me in knee deep water every chance they got. Needless to say I have a great fear of drowning.. 😆

My father used to throw me into the water like that and I absolutely loved it. Sadly, he died very young- when I was nine- and my mother always refused to come into the water. She can't swim, though her father was a fisherman 😆, and doesn't even want come near the water.

Yeah, just as I loved being thrown high up to the sky as a little child by my uncle. I don't remember but everybody says so. They say, once I hit my head somewhere because he had thrown me too high and I was laughing while the adults were worried 😆

I'll leave for now, my husband needs his daily injection (against thrombosis) and I'll have to check on Sahil (my son), eventually give him some ibuprofen for the rest of the night.

Wow, I just realized that it's almost like we're running our own little clinic here 😕
