SCENE 1

Naku stands there horrified,wide eyed ,she cannot think of anything and she is at loss of words.She lowers her beautiful eyes as she feels Dutta's eyes fixed on her,penetrating her,asking her many questions.Dutta himself is shocked beyond words as her never expected Nakusha to be like the one standing in front of him.As he becomes aware of Naku's uncomfortableness,he shifts his gaze and says slowly,"Kya main jaan sakta hu Naku yeh sab kya hai...."A feeling of hurt in his voice.By now,Naku's cheeks have turned pink and she replies hesistantly,"Kya main pehle apne kapde pehen lu saab?/Phir main aapke sab swawaal ka jawab degi.."Dutta blushes and says.."Haan jaldi ja.."Naku quickly picks up her salwaar kameez from the bed and rushes in the bathroom.As she closes the door,Dutta looks up.A few minutes later,Naku comes out of he bathroom wearing a pretty purple chiffon salwar kameez with a simple golden lace around the dupatta,which she had selected for the trip.Dutta's eyes follow her as she combs her wet hair.After putting on her slippers,she finally comes up to Dutta and says,"Abb puchiye saab..kya sawaal hai apke mann mein..."Dutta lifts his chin up and says.."Bahut se swaala hai..Par unke jawaab tu yahan nahi..mere kamre mein degi.."Saying so,he orders Naku,"Chal mere saath"Naku nods her head in consent and follows him without any protests.

SCENE 2

The patil family,busy in chit-chatting about the plans for the picnic while having their breakfast on the table,as Babi serves them.Suddenly,Dutta bursts into the house with a pretty girl in purple following him fearfully.They ae surprised at the sight as Kala lifts her eyebrows and says,"Abb yeh kaunsi nayi musibat hai Bhau ki zindagi mein.."Seeing her gaze at someone behind Bhau,Babi looks in that direction,her eyes widen as she sees her beautiful daughter Naku without ash and she suddenly lets go off the Bowl in her hand which smashes into pieces.She sries out in surprise,"Naku!!".Everyone on the table looks up at her in shock.Kala says sternly,"Yeh kya bol rahi tu Babi...yeh Naku kaha se dikhti hai tujhe...ya toh tera dimaag kharab ho gaya hai..ya tujhe kaam karne mann nahi hai....aur tune yeh katori bhi neeche girra de..isse saaf kaun karega.."Irresepective of Kala's harsh words,Babi rushes upto Bhau and Naku and says,"Saab..main apko sab batati hai ki Naku ne aisa kyun kiya..."Dutta stops midway and says,"Nahi...aap nahi mujhe yeh sab khud Naku ke muh se sun na hai...."By now everyone has gathered at the scene and aayi Sata hib interrupts,"Yeh sab kya hai Dutta..Kaye zala..Aur kya sachmuch yeh ladki Naku hai??"Dutta nods his head in yes and says"Ji aayi sahib..yeh Naku hi hai..."He then looks at others and says"Ab agar aap log mujhe ijazat de toh main Naku se baat karna chahta tha.."Without waiting for reply,he climbs the stairs as Naku follows him,Everyone's eyes following them.

SCENE 3

Dutta enters his room in a jiffy and Naku follows him.As he hears Naku entering,He orders her to close the door.Naku obeys and he hears the creak of door.He sits on the bed and asks Naku to sit beside him.Naku protests saying,"Saab,yeh aap kya bol rahe hai..main niche baith jayegi...par yahan nahi.."Dutta glowers at her and says"Jo kehta hu woh kar..Kyuki aaj main tujhse tera dost bann kar baat karna chahta hu..na ki tera Saab "Naku obeys and sits beside Dutta.Her eyes lowered,she opens her lips to say something and Dutta interrupts,"Abb bata...aur sach kehna kyuki main tujhpe pura bharosa karta hu...aur kisi se darne ki zarurat nahi hai..bas sach bol.."Naku nods her head and starts off her story..

"Saab...main jiss din paida huye thi na...Aayi uss din se mujhe bahut lagan aur pyaar se pala hai...bapu ne kabhi apna pyaar nahi diya..bas iss gam mein ki beti ka bojh sar pada hai..woh nashe mein dooba rehta..Bachpann aayi ke aanchal mein beeta...Phir main badi huyi..Aayi ki kaam mein mada karne lagi..aur phir mera pyaara sethji aaya iss duniya mein..Bapu ka bartav wahi tha..par sethji ke aane se ghar mein nayi khushiyan aa gayi..Phir bachpann beeta aur main na jaane kab 12 saal ki ho gayi...aayi ne dekha ki mian jaise jaise badi hote jaa rahi hu,meri sundarta aur bhu ubhar rahi ha..Aayi ko darr tha,Kahi meri sundarta mere liye abhishaap na bann jaaye..Saab,ek gaarib ghar ki ladki ka sundar hona uske aur uske parivaar walon ke liye koi khushi ki baat nahi..chinta aur dukh ki baat hoti hai.Hum unn sundar aamir ladkiyon jaisi nahi hoti jinke liye ucche aur acche gharane se rishtey aaye ya koi unke taraf nazaar utha kar dekhe..humari kismet mein toh dukh hi dukh hota hai saab..Agar mein roop na chuppati toh na jaane gali ke kitne ki gunde mera aur mere parivaar ka jeena haram kar dete..Saab agar mere saath kuch bura ho jaata toh aayi pe kya betati....Mere aayi ne yeh faisla liya ki isi mein meri bhalai hai ki main apne iss roop ko chupai rakhu..warna hum sab ki zindagi mushkil ho jaati.Aayi ne mujhse bhi bada tyaag diya hai saab..ek Maa apne hi bacche ko duniya se bachane ke liye usse sabse badi khushi chinn li...Par isse mera bhavishya toh accha ho jata saab..mera haath wahi thamta jise mere dil mein aasliyat,acchai aur mere mann ki sundarta nazaar aati..balki uski nahi jo mere roop ki wajah se mujhe apnana chahe...Abb batao saab..kya galat kiya maine aur meri aayi ne.."

SCENE 4

She folds her hands and lowers her eyes.Dutta sees two big drops of tears in eyes.He himself is so emotional.He controls his tears and wipes off Naku's tears.Still Naku's eyes wont stop as tears roll down her pink cheeks.She cannot hold her emotions any longer and melts into Dutta's arms crying.She felt a sudden flow of emotions into her,a feeling of security and love in Dutta's strong arms.Dutta slowly pats Naku's head and whispers her to stop crying.Dutta is in two minds about holdin Naku.But he finally wraps his ahnds around her.He closes his eyes.Suddenly the moment of emotional outburst turns into a different feeling altogether as Dutta and Naku hug each other more tightly.With Dutta's hands moving towards Naku's waist and him feeling her close proximity to him.Naku forgets all her fears and lets Dutta melt into her..Suddenly,realisation dawns on Naku and she removes her arms from Dutta's back.Dutta's spell breaks and he leaves Naku's waist and they part.Naku brushes off stray hair framing her face as Dutta lowers his gaze.Both are uncomfortable after the sudden melting emotion.Finally Dutta tries to break the ice and says,"Chal Naku aaj se tujhe kisi darr mein jeene ki zarurat nahi hai...Ab jaise tujhe bhagwaan ne bana kar bheja hai..waise hi rahegi..samjhi"Naku nods her head shyly.As Naku gets up to leave,Dutta holds her hand.Naku's heart misses a beat and wind from the window blows her hair.She closes her eyes and turns around to face dutta.Dutta leaves her hand and speaks up shyly,"Dekh Naku,aaj woh jo huya..hamare beech mein..mera matlab hai...jo abhi hua...uska kuch galat matlab matt nikalna Naku,mera matlab hai..tujhe yhe toh nahi laga ki maine jaan mujh kar tujhe itne der tak..matlab hum gale mile.."Naku cuts him off in between"Nahi saab...yeh aap kya bol rahe hai..jitni galti aapki hai..utni hi meri bhi..aur phir bas gale hi mile hum..aap ne mujhe sahara diya..iss baat ka shukriya..."Dutta smiles at her and Naku smiles back.Just as Naku is about to open the door and leave,Dutta shouts from behind,"Naku....teri madad chahiye thi.."Naku turns back and looks at him questioningly..."Kya hua saab.."Dutta looks down and says in a shy voice,"Yeh..samaan bhikhra pada hai mera...zara packing karne mein meri madad kar de.."Naku smiles and looks at the mess around the room,"hey bhagwaan!!yeh sab kaise sametungi main.."She looks at Dutta and he smiles at her lamely,pleading her to help him.Naku smiles in agreement and sets to work as Dutta sits on his sofa,with his file.Naku ties her dupatta and ties her loose hair in bun with her hands.Dutta tries to concentrate on his file but now and then,he steals a glance at Naku,who is looking divine with beads of perspiration on her face and red colour on her cheeks.He turns back quickly to his file acting as if he is busy whenever Naku stares in his direction.

SCENE 5

Meanwhile,downstairs,Babi had no option but to tell the whole story about Nakusha to the patil family.Kala is shocked and annoyed.She is about to scold babi when Aayi sahib steps in and says,"Bas abb aur kuch nahi...babi rona band kar..aur abb se Naku ko apne asli roop mien rehne de..Main ek aayi ke darr ko samjhti hu..aur teri stithi samjhti hu.Par abb tu darr matt..Aur jahan tak Nakusha ke liye ladke dhundne ka sawaal hai..yeh tu mujh par chodd de..Ek se ek bhaad ke rishtey laungi teri Naku ke liye.."Babi folds her hands in front of aayi sahib and says"Aapka kaise shukriya karu aayi sahib.."Aai sahib lifts her up from ground and says,"Abb aasun pooch aur chal tayyari kar le..bahar jaana hai na...Aur tum sab bhi.."She says looking at others.."Abb tum sab bhi jao araam karo..shaam ko nikalna hai..."Everyone leaves for their respective rooms.

Naku comes down smiling and Babi rushes to hug hher daughter.She wipes her tears and says,"Naku,bhau ne tujhe koi haani toh nhai pahuchaiyi hai.."Naku looked at her aayi lovingly and said"Nahi aayi...Saab ne kuch nahi kaha...Aur abb tub hi chinta chodd..jo hota hai acche ke liye hota hai..Bappa hai na sab sambhalne ke liye.."Babi nods her head in approval and the mother daughter duo leave for their room.

SCENE 6

Meanwhile,Kalawati calls Roops and Leelawati in her room for a discussion.As they enter her room,Kala orders Roops,"Ja pehle jakar hamara amrit la.."Roops nods nad takes out some champaign and glasses and offers one to each.Kala smiles wickedly and says,"Hum ne jitna socha tha..Naku use bhi zyada chalak nikle..Pehle Bhau ka vishwaas jeeta aura bb apne roop se mohne ka poora plan hai uske paas..'Roops butts in and says..."Taayi..maine socha nahi tha ki woh bhootni itni sundar niklegi.."Shr smiles suddenly and adds"Arre waah tayyi!!Yeh toh bilkul ugly ducking waali kahani nikli..so cute na!!"Leela glowers her eyes and roopwati's smile freezes in between.Kala continues,"Toh abb yeh apsara hamare bhau ko rijhanyegi....Par main bhi dekhti hu...ki mere hote huye..woh Bhau ko kaise patati hai..."leela says,"Par taayi..yeh na sahi..toh koi aur ladki ayegi..tab kya??"Kala lifts her eyebrows and continues,"Kala sirf abhi pe dyaan deti hai...abhi isse nipat lu..aage ka bad mein dekhenge..abb dekhna yeh trip main inn dono ke liye kaise yaadgaar banati hu..."She turns back and gives an evil smile to her sisters.."Cheers!!"

PRECAP:Everyone set off for a funfilled weekend extravanganza at Dutta's dreamy farmhouse in Lonavla..The coming update will bring in lots of stuff to watch out for!!
