LTL in overall Top 10

GEC Watch: STAR Plus unmoved; Colors gains marginally

STAR Plus still reigns as the No. 1 Hindi general entertainment channel (GEC) in Week 20, retaining its share of 25 per cent. Its GRPs, too, have remained at 337. Colors is 49 GRPs behind STAR Plus, with a relative share of 21 per cent.

Zee is at No. 3 and has witnessed a slight decline in GRPs. It currently holds 18 per cent share, and its GRPs stand at 245. In Week 19, Zee garnered 267 GRPs.


Sony has seen a decline in share. At No. 4, the GEC has garnered 11 per cent share. Sony has recorded 153 GRPs in Week 20. Imagine TV has retained its 7 per cent share, followed by SAB and DD1, which have garnered 5 per cent share each.

STAR One is at No. 7, garnering 3 per cent share. Sahara One and STAR Utsav have garnered 2 per cent and 1 per cent shares respectively.

STAR Plus' Pratigya is the most watched programme on Hindi GECs, garnering a TVR of 5.7. Zee's Pavitra Rishta follows closely with a TVR of 5.6. Uttaran on Colors has recorded a TVR of 5.1. Bidayi and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai have recorded TVRs of 4.5 and 4.4 respectively.

The other shows in the Top 10 list are Laagi Tujhse Lagan and Na Aana Is Des Laado (Colors), Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo, Jhansi Ki Rani and Dance India Dance Little Masters (Zee).

PS: These TRPs are for last week. Yeh Rishta beat it by a whisker but LTL has beaten Agle Janam in the same slot. Plus its the No. 2 show on Colors. 🥳

Needless to say, I am still amazed at my ability to fall behind on the show as soon as it gets good. *shakes head*

I admire your ability not to see the show when most dramatic bits are going on. I salute ur self control Fivr. 😆

Self control?? LOL! More like my comatose state of being tired and exhausted at the end of the day. With nagging guests and a ton of chores. *sigh* I hate being a grown up. I cannot believe that LTL's in the over all top 10 and I have not watched the show for the past two weeks! TWO WEEKS!! GAH!!! It's it almost unbelievable! 😆

if the creatives increase the pace of the show the trps will improve further but one ques. there is a post related to daily trps of ltl and over there i have hardly seen pratigyas name why????

Those ratings are from amap and in towns with a population of 40 lakhs and above. LTL seems quiet popular in bigger cities. the ratings i have posted are of tam from hindi speaking markets ie of hindi speaking states. the channels really care for these ratings are these states are their target audience. the other overall rating posted nivedita has posted are also of tam but they are overall ie they include non-hindi speaking states too.
