why Dutta gifted Nakku?

I have a serious problem with Dutta gifting Nakku? Why did he gift her a chain when he asked her out for shopping 😒? And when did this guy went out to get gifts 😕? I been thinking a lot on this for the weekend and could not come to a valid conclusion 😕. It's okay he wanted to repay back her favours but just gifting a chain 🤔?
Also why did not Baaji ask Dutta what was the need to especially gift Nakku? Why did he think about her among all? Okay, I understand that Dutta is Mr.Right, in the way that whatever he does is always right, but Baaji could have asked him this instead of saying that Nakku would misunderstand his gesture. I mean I don't understand this abrupt and sudden realisation of Baaji for Nakku's behaviour and not of Dutta's towards Nakku. I really want Baaji to point out to Dutta that even he has a soft corner for Nakku. Hope next week CV show this as well 👍🏼.

I think the gift he got for Naku was along with the rest of the gifts for his family. Apart from this gift he was planning to take Naku out for shopping which Naku was trying to avoid firstly to avoid him and also to stick to Supriya. So he anyway gave the gift he already got.
As for why Baji didnt think abt Dutta's gestures for Naku I feel he thinks Dutta loves Supriya. Dutta is generally nice to everyone so he being nice to Naku doesnt surprise Baji. Its not really extra ordinary for Dutta as far as Baji is concerned. He prolly thinks that Dutta is fond of Naku as he himself is. Infact Baji is always surprised when he sees Dutta's vicious side. But when Dutta is being nice Baji is always approving of him rather than surprised.

he has loads of money soooo i guess...

baaji dnt get surprised by dutta's behavior as he thinks dutta is in love with sups...............he knows dutta respects naku as she had saved his life.............also it was naku on whose advice dutta agreed for marrying sups.............he thinks dutta feels naku as his good friend and a faithful servant.
