- I didn't mention this yesterday - blame it on my old age 🤣 - but I love what Baji's wearing! *sigh* 😍
- The fact that the editors chose to "cut out" Baji's dialogue about Dutta "shooting" him if he saw him there, tells me that it wasn't as "indicative" a dialogue as we thought it was. I'd assumed that it had been a generic statement - that Dutta would get upset to see Baji playing around when "work" needed to be done (family or business). To me it didn't look like it was a hint towards Baji-Roops relationship - and after today I've come to believe it a little more. But I'm going to wait and watch on that one.
- Why was it important to show Leela nudge Sudarshan when Supriya called out to Baji? This might be used in a further track, it seems - they really want us to notice that Leela and Sudarshan saw Baji and Supriya talking.. 🤔 But then again, it could just be me, being me. 😆
- When Baji goes towards the door, there is a shot of the mavali looking at Supriya - did anyone else feel that he had a "proud pimp" look going on? Like he was so happy with Supriya trying to be "fake concerned" for Dutta? How is this guy not even remote upset by it? Can a character be this dense? Aur soney pe suhaga - he does a little "perfect" hand gesture to her?! The more I see him the closer my brain gets to exploding - he makes no sense. I hope the creatives give a reason for his stupid behavior - maybe by showing he's an imbecile...? 😆
- Did anyone else think that Sudarshan's "smile" (when Aayi approaches Supriya and says "Dekhon toh!") was a little out of place?! It was like he was admiring her - which was beyond gross to me. 🤢
- B positive! B positive! - Bwaahahahahahaha! "No Entry" has ruined that dialogue for me FOREVER! 🤣🤣🤣
- The entire house was lit one moment and dark the next - didn't Dutta, who was outside at the time, find it odd that the entire house went eerily dark just minutes before his arrival?! 🤣
- OMG! Who else found it hilarious that no one even BOTHERED to hide before Dutta walked in? They were all just standing there in the dark - as if they expected Dutta to be blind and not make out their silhouette. 🤣
- When Dutta finally stopped walking and realized it was dark, did anyone else think he was getting a little creeped out by all these "life-size" statuesque figures standing in his home?! 🤣 He almost looked like he expected them all to start walking forward in zombie-like progressions! 😆
- I really liked the camera work in the shot of Dutta being showered with flower petals - I liked how it went around him in a circle. 😊
- When all the lights came back on and everyone began clapping for Dutta-Supriya, did anyone else feel that Nakku was lost in her dream? Like she was staring at Dutta and picture herself right beside him? And it was only after the sound of the people clapping that brought her "back" and then she clapped the most hesitant clap - because her heart wasn't into it and she wasn't REALLY happy. *sigh*
- They finally show a descent close-up shot of Kaala and I must say, I liked her with her hair tied today! *sigh* But then I think I like everything about her, so this is turning out to be a lost cause fairly quickly... 😆
- So I have a question - when Dutta pulled his hand out of Baji's (right before the slap) and Nakku walked forward, WHAT exactly was the guy behind her looking at? All the drama was happening to his right and he was staring straight ahead! I'm sorry, but random extras crack me up! 🤣
- When Baji gets slapped, everyone's genuinely upset - regardless of whether they are evil or nice, for that brief moment they were all experiencing the same concern for Baji. I like that! 😃
- Dutta thing #1: Dutta walks in his home totally unsuspecting of what might be going on. It wasn't until he gets to the main entrance to his home that he realizes something's "amiss". Even though they didn't show a close up of his reaction, I feel that his first instinctive thought was of his family being in danger. The way he stopped abruptly and his body language went into alert for just that brief moment sort of leads me to believe that he feared for his family's safety - I could be totally wrong though. After the first moment or so, when he notices the random people standing in his home (and I am sure he noticed them because there is just NO way he didn't!) he gets confused and calls out for people he knows and who might be able to explain what's going on - all of that was Dutta Patil, a regular guy who's being taken by "surprise" at his own home. But once he steps in the threshold and onto the flower petals, that's when he begins to realize that this might be something dreadful (at least for him). He takes one step in the threshold and stops - abruptly - until the spot light is on him and then he begins to walk forward as he "looks" for a familiar face, anyone who might be able to explain what ridiculousness is going on. He looks annoyed and barely upset with this (what he hopes is a) misunderstanding. As the petals are falling on him, he lowers his gaze - as if trying to wait "it" out until he could figure out what was going on. When Roops comes forth and sprinkles him with (what I hope is) water, he looks at her with an expression that says "Are you insane?" - he did not look comfortable being ambushed by something unexpected and with unknown people around. Then Baji steps forth and Dutta looks at him - hoping for him to provide some clarity to the situation. But what does Baji do? He pulls out his gun - and Dutta visibly leans away from Baji. It was as though he was actually taken aback by Baji's action - he had expected an explanation, but he had never imagined it would involve Baji pulling out his gun (to return or to shoot, regardless). And when he hears what Baji has to say, he pauses for a moment - he looks at the gun and then at Baji before giving totally into his confusion and finally speaking "Pagal ho gaya hai kya?". This could be the ONLY reason, according to him, why everything weird was happening around him. He looks intently at Baji as he confirms his decision and walks away - the entire time Dutta is silently and patiently monitoring the situation. There were no hasty movements and no quick decisions - he did not know what he was dealing with and until he knew better he was going to stay as controlled and alert as possible , in case his lucidity was called upon in a moment's notice. The lights turn on again and he looks at everyone ONE last time before his head falls back in recognition - he's seen the culprit (Supriya) and he knew what this was all about (not exactly but enough to know that he didn't like it).
- So, did anyone else find it weird that Baji just abruptly told Dutta that he was quitting the business? It took me a few watching to finally understand that he may have lied about quitting the business because he wanted Dutta to be "taken by surprise" when he saw Supriya sitting on the stage (however if you ask me, there are other ways to surprise someone). Although, seeing flowers strewn on the floor along with being showered with petals is NOT a good precursor to letting your boss/best friend know that you're quitting their business! 🤣🤣🤣
- Dutta thing #2: Once he realizes this is Supriya's doing, you actually see the "Dutta Bhao" take over "Dutta Patil" - he slowly turns towards Supriya and then looks at everyone to decide who all is to blame along with her. He looks "unhappy" at being ambushed - but until Baji comes along he's just upset. Once he sees Baji though, Dutta has now found someone he can "lash" out on (someone he's comfortable enough with to "lash" out on). He angrily asks Baji what this is all about?! And then he is visibly hesitant as Baji drags him to the stage - like he did not want to be there (in fact, like he wanted to be ANYWHERE but there). He keeps his gaze lowered because he does not want anyone or anything inflaming his anger as Baji drags him closer to Supriya - and once there, he is visibly irritated at being forced to sit with Supriya. He DID not want to be there - but all this time he was focusing his anger on Baji, at venting on Baji. When everyone starts clapping though, he realizes how his "display" is a public on and that makes him more uncomfortable - enough to finally stand up. This was a sign of his uneasiness at the situation but unfortunately for him, Baji doesn't let it register and forces him back (again and again and again). Dutta is restless through out - he does NOT want to be there, AT ALL. Dutta's bothered enough to walk over to his Aayi and question her about this. And then he fluctuates between being "irritated" enough to turn away from the source (in this case Baji and/or Supriya) or being "enraged" enough to spout abrupt warning (even his body language suggested that he was trying to keep his anger in check - with the neck rolls and the closed-eyes-deep-breaths). But he was STILL being pushed around - first being dragged to the stage again and then being forced back in the seat. He does NOT like being ambused, he does NOT like being pushed around, he does NOT like being made into a spectacle and he does NOT like exhibiting his "caring" side. Maybe because he has been "ambushed" by Seema and the pedophile Sethji in the garage, where he was emotionally "pushed around" by Seema and made into a "spectacle" - and ALL this while he was "exhibiting" to her how much her "cared". I could be wrong here, but to me his reaction today was in sync with the "Once bitten, twice shy" proverb.
- Dutta thing #3: It was a drink that has unleashed the "rage" inside Dutta a few night ago - and today again, it was a drink that managed to break his last straw of patience. Then it was because someone tried to forcefully STOP him from drinking and today it was because someone tried to forcefully MAKE him drink. When Baji offers him the drink, Dutta turns away. But when Baji goes ahead and tries to forcefully make him drink that is when Dutta snaps. He pushes the glass aside and looks at Baji with such annoyed and questioning eyes - as if trying to ask "You KNOW how much I dislike this! YOU have NO reason to be acting this way!". And then he gets up and tells him "NO" one last time in a strained tone before he walks off. It was like walking off was his LAST attempt at keeping his anger at bay. His very last attempt at making sure no one else got hurt - he wanted to leave from there before his anger had a chance to surface and cause destruction. But once held onto his hand and physically tried to stop him - that is when it all went south. Dutta had tried enough, he'd held back enough - and eventually, that very last straw of patience and sanity snapped. In his defense, he REALLY REALLY REALLY tried. He hated being ambushed, he hated being forced into an uncomfortable situation and he hated being pushed around - he really tried to get out of it with minimum damage. But in the end, he just couldn't take it.
- Baji thing: When Supriya asked him about Dutta - whether he'd be there or not - Baji was worried about keeping his promise. They'd put in so much effort to organize the event and he did not want to disappoint Supriya (which I think is absolutely sweet). But once Dutta came in the picture and he saw how unhappy he looked, it was like Baji realized that Dutta wouldn't give this a chance. And after that, everything Baji did was for Dutta and no one else. He wanted Dutta to give this happiness a chance - FINALLY after 10 years Dutta had agreed to marraige but now it seemed as though he hadn't entirely accepted it (given as how Supriya told him that Dutta doesn't give her a chance at understanding him). He is honestly worried that his best friend is going to end up fortifying his heart - where no one's love could get in and the pain that's already there can't leave. And he wanted to prevent that from happening. Even when he say Dutta get upset, he kept deflecting his anger because he felt if Dutta only gave it a chance (if he only had that drink or sat a little closer to Supriya or just seemed to enjoy the even, just a little bit) he'd realize this wasn't that bad. And he would be able to have a shot at (a very well-deserved) happiness again. And for that I love Baji. I really do! Even when Dutta slapped him, even then, his shock/disappointment lasted for the moment or two as he looked at Dutta. But once Dutta told him that he'd had enough with his "jokes" I could SEE Baji begin his act again - he wouldn't let Dutta's anger hurt him OR distract him from his "mission" to help Dutta be happy again. So much so that he used his embarrassment and pain as an excuse to "pacify" and "entertain" Dutta. To him, Dutta's happiness really stood before his own humiliation - it was like Baji didn't have TIME to sit and think about the repercussions of Dutta's slap. He saw Dutta get upset and so the ONLY natural thing for him to do is make Dutta feel better so he'd give his happiness a chance. *sigh* This all could just be me seing random thing, but nonetheless I want a Baji... 😍
- Nakku thing: As Dutta enters, Nakku drifts off in her dreamland (and I am going to believe that that's true!) until the sound of people clapping bring her back to reality. Then, even though she's suffering from "hurt" with every step that Dutta takes towards Supriya, figuratively speaking, she's also happy for him. So while Baji tries to "entertain" Dutta, Nakku smiles with him - because she trusts Baji to figure this out. He's known Dutta longer and just like Baji handled Dutta during the teddy bear incident she's expecting him to know best here too. But it's only after Dutta finally gets up and walks away that she looks genuinely worried for him. She was already ready to follow Dutta - even if Baji had not called to her, she'd still have followed Dutta (maybe all the way up the stairs). And when Dutta slaps Baji, her hand almost reflexively rise up - gesturing a "NO!". She's worried for Dutta but hurt for Baji too. And you can almost see her dilemma as she looks at Dutta and then lowers her gaze, only to raise it and look at Baji followed by Dutta again. It's like she's trying to reconcile the conflicting emotions she feels with regards to two men in her life (one her friend and other.. *sigh* 😍). She understood how BOTH of them felt - and I could almost see her debating with herself about who's right and what both of their reasons were for acting as they did. *sigh* I know it isn't fun being the "observer" in a fight between two people you know..
- Kaala thing: So I know she's evil - but I've realized that she isn't vindictive. The entire time Baji was dragging/forcing Dutta next to Supriya she looked "irritated" for Dutta. Don't get me wrong - she did look happy at times but she's the groom's sister, she's supposed to look ecstatic. However at specific times, she looks like she knew what a farce this was - how Supriya sitting there like the blushing bride was a farce OR how Baji's desire to see Dutta happy was a totally anticlimactic given what he was pushing him towards. She doesn't want Dutta to get married, but she wasn't ENJOYING Dutta's misery. She was enjoying the "entire" turn of event because of the "drama" it came with - but not specifically Dutta's pain or future heartbreak. To me she looked bored - she knew how FAKE/POINTLESS this whole thing was and she was just there to keep up appearances. Or so I think... 🤔
- I really like Aayi Sahib. She's such a motherly figure - I loved how she was so genuinely happy for her son because her daughter-in-law to-be (NOT!!) was finally making an effort to understand him (or so she's been led to believe). And later when Baji gets slapped how she's so completely concerned for him. I love her mother-son relationship with both Dutta and Baji. 😃
- More than being shocked/upset at Baji getting slapped by Dutta, everyone was surprised at him FOLLOWING and STOPPING Dutta in his path. It was like they totally didn't expect him to do that - normally people who got hit by Dutta probably just whimper away. But not our Baji! No sire! 😆
- When Baji is reprimanding Dutta for having hit him, Dutta's gaze is lowered but this time his expression isn't an angry one. This time he looks remorseful - like he's embarrassed at having hit Baji (angry or not) and he feels too guilty to look AT him and too disgusted at himself.
- Baji serenading Dutta!! Bwaaaahahahahahha... 🤣🤣🤣 This was such a "couple's-rootna-manana" scene! Only there was a role reversal! Baji was no longer the "roothi hui biwi" - it was DUTTA! Bwaaahahahahha! I LOVED IT! 🤣
- Lol! Dutta looked so irritated with Baji! Not angry.. just annoyed - like he'd had enough! Almost like he was saying "Quit messing around man!!!" 🤣 I loved his expressions as Baji held his arm while he was walking away from the stairs and later when he shrugs Baji off! And I'm going to go ahead and believe that Dutta even smiled when he shrugged Baji off! *sigh* 😍
- Ganpat trying to get "fresh" with Baabi in public?! Bwaahahahahaha!! This has been the most hilarious episode ever! 🤣
- Baji's DANCE!?!?! Bwwaaaaaahahahahahhahahahaaaa!!! He's even better than Sethji! I LOVE the dance! I've seen it almost 20 times already! LOVE IT!! 🤣🤣🤣
- I like how Kaala came and took Dutta away "lovingly" - it was a very "elder sister" thing to do, even if it was to keep up appearances.
- When Dutta sits next to Supriya did anyone else notice how he gives her a sideways glance? It almost seemed like he was liking "As long as she stays on her side, we can do this..". 🤣
- Up until Leela was dancing, Dutta looked vaguely interested. But the minute Roops entered the picture pretending to be Nakku, Dutta looked OFFENDED. He did NOT look interested anymore - he just looked like he was waiting for this to be over. That is until he saw SOMEONE walk down the stairs - THAT caught onto his interest again. But a joke at Nakku's expense was not appreciated by Dutta and I love that! 😃
- Did anyoen else thing Dutta was trying to "figure" out what was going on when he say Sudarshan walk down the stairs?! 🤣
- "Aisi koi goli bani nahi jo Dutta ka seena paar kar sakey!" - Only a fake Dutta would say something like that! Sun rahi ho Jaz! 🤣
- Dutta was NOT able to "digest" the comment about "him" shooting people because he disliked something as trivial as an edible item. Did anyone else notice how repulsed he was by Leela's comment? So much that he physically turned his head away? He did NOT like it. And neither did I. But off course nothing less can be expected from Leela and Sudharshan.. *gag* 🤢
- When Sudarshan screamed "DUTTA... DUTTA SHRIRAM PATIL KO MAZAK PASAND NAHI!" who else noticed Baji's shake of head? Like he was thinking "Oh man, this is going to far... Put a leash on it!". Over acting kara lo bass fake-Dutta se! 🤣
- Did anyone else think that while Sudarshan was screaming, Dutta's starring daggers at him? He did not like his profession being made fun of - his reasons for joining the profession that he's in are fairly "painful" still. And to be laughed at because of who he's become now and what he does - it's like his pain, humiliation and heartbreak are being trivialized. At least I thought so... 🤔
