OMG! Today's episode had me giggling like a teenager. And that means I loved today's episode! *sigh* The things this show does to me... 😆 By the way, consider yourself warned because the first scene had me going a bit crazy for a while. I am not sure how much "sense" I make as far as the first scene is concerned - actually as far as this whole TIN is concerned. So really, read at your own risk! 😆
I was waiting for your TIN like crazy.
- Oooo they showed that shot of Dutta pouring himself some alcohol, again. Have I mentioned I love the camera work in this scene?! 😆
- Dutta's still "contemplating" but does anyone else feel that now he's a lot more "relaxed" while he does it? Before he'd get agitated every time he was lost in thoughts - he looked really irked and on the edge. But now, he's just so calm - like he has all the time in the world to figure whatever needs figuring out.
I too observed he kind of was wanting to enjoy the drink but cam after that was more enjoyable.
- So Dutta paused as he lifts the drink to his lips because he was reminded of Nakku, which automatically reminds him of how he'd poured his heart out to her this afternoon. I like how Nakku's replacing Supriya's thoughts in his mind. Totally and absolutely LOVE it! 😃
I wished they show the dream incident also and then she appear.
- Okay, they changed the "Nakku's entrance" scene! The little shake of the head with that subtle smile was missing! THAT is what made it look like a "dream". They tricked us!!! 😲 I like it! 😆
- Oooooohhh Myyyy Goddddd! *hyperventilating* OMG! *deep breaths* i.e. the effects of watching the Tasha scene. ☺️ I absolutely could not think straight as I watched that scene. You know I had to watch it 6 times before I could even BEGIN to comprehend what was actually happening on screen. I hate Tasha. I mean it. The things they do to my brain and my lucidity - I hate them! 😆
- When Nakku calls out to Dutta, he's surprised to hear her voice - especially since he was just thinking about her. But then she asks him if he's going to drink again and there's that little smile that plays on his lips - like that question had been so predictable, so much that it almost held a special place for him now. And then it was as if it had "unlocked" a mischievous side to him that hasn't surfaced ever before (at least in the present since his entry). In his "mischievous" spirit, he asks her if there was a "dry day or a vrat" that should be preventing him from enjoying his drink - but it wasn't a serious question. He wasn't REALLY upset at all nor did he really need her to answer that - in fact he was enjoying how he'd left the "preacher" Nakku a little speechless, albeit for a moment or two. But then as she begins "explaining" to him how her "Aayi says..." he sees another opportunity to "corner" her, so to speak. He asks her if she ever thinks for her self or does her Aayi do all the thinking for her, and Nakku quickly lets him know that she does! And when she said that, I almost felt as thought Dutta was "waiting" to hear what she "says". That's when she tells him what her "Aayi" says instead - because she wants to help him and ease his pain. As he listens to her speak, he isn't sure what to make of her - a girl he'd gotten upset at was back here trying to make him feel better? A girl who he was trying to "mess around" with was too naive to be offended - she didn't make sense to him! So he asks her yet another question which he assumed would be unanswerable by Nakku - What are you made of?! Every time he'd ask her a "rhetorical" question, he would expect Nakku to be baffled (which he was really enjoying, even though it only used to last for no longer than a moment or two) - but what would eventually amuse him even more is how she ALWAYS had an answer for him. It didn't have to be an answer he wanted to hear or the one he was looking for but it was an answer - one that eventually left HIM speechless. Because when he asks her what she was made of, she didn't think twice before announcing "Main... Kaali mitti ki!". That's when he admitted defeat in front of Nakku and smiled the "happiest" and most "heart-warming" smile I've ever seen anyone smile. It was like Nakku's presence had begun to resurrect that "buried" Dutta from inside him - one that was naive and mischievous, who loved to laugh and make others laugh. And I LOVED that. You have NO idea how much I loved that! 😃
She has taken him by surprise.
- He was genuinely happy - until he realizes that he's "happy" and then he ponders aloud about the reason of his happiness. Why had he told Nakku everything? And why had she listened to everything, silently? Whether she understood it or not - without judging? It all meant a lot to him - it made him "happy" but he wasn't sure WHY.
I agree totally
- "Sahib, glass aur dil aik jaise thori na hote hain... K aik baar toota toh phir kabhi nahi baney ga..." - THAT is all it took to stop Dutta from spiraling back into the abyss. As Dutta had started to get "enveloped" by "despair" again, all it took was Nakku's words of hope to bring him back to her. Like when she said that, he realized he had something to hold on to - that if he wanted he could hang on and he'd be fine. And a very subtle smile played out on his lips as a result of that realization. I LOVED IT!! *sigh*
Nakku sounds as an expert in recycling glass and binding the heart.
- Nakku goes on a "preaching" spree again - but this time Dutta isn't irritated by it. He isn't surprised by it either. It was like he'd been expecting it - that Nakku not trying to make him feel better with her "words of wisdom" was not an option. Even though, at one point when she tells him that not "everyone's alike" I saw a little hint of defensiveness in him - but he caught it and that was the end of it. This time he really listened to her as a friend - both the "pain" conversation and last night's (at least in the show) conversation had more of a "you don't know what I'm going through" i.e. defensive feel to it as far as Dutta was concerned. But tonight, he was listening to her, to everything she'd said and he was "seeing" the wisdom behind it with an open mind.
I hope he continues to listen to Nakku.
- So Nakku notices that she'd probably said to much? I like how now, she's getting more "aware" of Dutta's mood too (more than she was before) - she's understanding him better. 😃
- Can I say I LOVED how Dutta asked Nakku to take the drink away?! The movement of the eyes and the facial expressions were absolutely brilliant. I loved it!!! *sigh*
Me too.
- Awwww - Nakku's surprised and then ELATED at realizing that Dutta wasn't going to drink any more. She couldn't believe it and that gorgeously elated smile that crossed her face almost simultaneously spread over Dutta's face too. As though, just because she was happy, he was too. *sigh* Can I just live in Tasha's "Happy World" forever?! 😆
- When Nakku excitedly asks Dutta if he really wasn't going to drink, I loved the submissive shake of his head - like he was telling her, there is no way I can drink it now. You've asked me not too - I can't do something you've asked me not to do. I CAN'T. Nakku's having just as much of an effect on Dutta as Dutta's having on her. And I love it! *sigh*
- "Nahi main sooch raha hoon aaj vrat hi rakh loon!" - And with that, Dutta was back to being his casual self with Nakku. He didn't need to give her "politically correct" answers. He didn't need to tell her "exactly" what he wanted. He knew she'd understand what he wanted, so instead he'd just let loose and enjoy her company. 😃
- Dutta's amazed by Nakku - her wisdom, her ability to trust people and her ability to get herself another chance at life. He envies that - wishes he'd be able give himself another chance at living too. When he tried to live once, he was hurt so brutally that now he isn't sure he can make the "right" decision when it comes to "living" his life. And taking a chance seems too risky a choice for him considering his past - he isn't that "courageous" as he said. He'd rather live a safe but unhappy life than go search for happiness and get just at badly wounded again - at least that's how he'd learned to survive now. But thanks to Nakku, he's going to try to give himself and his happiness a chance! And that is what eventually put a smile on Nakku's face as she turned to leave - that glimmer of hope!
- Dutta tells Nakku that he enjoys her company - he speaks from the heart and lets her know what he really feels. But then right after that he jokes with her about how that's true ONLY when she "speaks less" - I LOVE how he's so comfortable around her that he can "joke" around and truly enjoy her presence. I love how relaxed he's gotten since he's confided in Nakku. He doesn't feel the need to guard his true feelings from her just as he doesn't feel the need to be cautious around her with his jokes - he is just being HIMSELF. I LOVE IT!! *sigh*
- Dutta stopped Nakku twice! First when she was getting ready to leave once she thought she'd offended him and then again when she's all set to leave after he assures her that he'd be willing to give "happiness" a shot. BOTH times he stops her with such authority and ease, as though it's his right (as it is) to demand more time from her - there is no sense of hesitation when he demands her to wait. He has authority over her just like she has over him - even though they both don't KNOW it yet. And I think I am falling in love for the 10 time in this scene. *sigh*😍
- Okay, now coming to Nakku! She walks in the room with authority and asks him quite precisely if he's going to drink again today?! - as though she expected this afternoon to change things for him (and even though she didn't know it then, it had!). And when he tries to dodge her question she just simply smiles and shakes her head - no frustration, no annoyance. She was just enjoying being in his presence. *sigh*
- The fact that Dutta was actually "playing around" didn't occur to Nakku until he asked her what she was made of - until then she was just enjoying his presence and answering each of his questions with simple answers. But when he asked her that, she realized how he was enjoying this and that's when she decided to give him a little laugh at her expense - "Kaali mitti" she says! She hadn't ever had a problem with laughing at her own expense as long as people enjoyed as a result of it (take the basti incidents as examples) - but this time it was different. This time she wasn't happy because Dutta was happy - this time SHE was happy AND Dutta was happy (in equal parts). She enjoyed being able to make Dutta laugh just as much as he enjoyed her company. And I loved how fnally the joke wasn't "at her expense" - this time it was different because Dutta wasn't laughing AT her, he was laughing WITH her. And I LOVED IT!
- When Dutta starts thinking aloud about why he told her everything about his past, Nakku almost looks like she's trying to think of an answer - like she'd been wondering about the same thing ever since Baabi brought it up to her in the kitchen (about why he wouldn't tell his fiance but confide in her instead). When he mentions how she'd just listened to everything quietly, she smiles and shakes her head as if saying "You were speaking - there was nothing else I'd rather do than listen." And when he wonders aloud about whether she understood anything at all I really felt like she wanted to tell him she understood everything - but held herself back instead. And then when he begins getting despaired, she helps him come "back" with her light of hope. She tries to get him to believe in the "goodness" of this world again - because she really wants him to be happy, even if it means she'd have to lose him. *sigh*
- After Nakku had grabbed the alcohol, she reached forward for the gun - as if now that she'd removed the alcohol from Dutta's life she wanted to get rid of the other self-destructive aspect of his life too - his violent profession. But he asks her to let that one be for now and she realized that she'd have to take it one step at a time.
That day is not too far.
- When Dutta tells her that he couldn't give himself another chance like she had, Nakku instantly got worried for him. Even though she tried to hide it and give him his space by not forcing her opinions down his throat to much, I could almost feel her need to tell him that he couldn't give up on happiness - that he had to try because a world where Dutta's unhappy is not a world where Nakku'd want to live. *sigh*
- So, I don't know if anyone else noticed this but now that Dutta's confided in Nakku about his past, it's like a dam has been broken inside him. Now he says everything that comes in his heart to her - he doesn't keep himself in check anymore. The last two times he was this uninhibited in his speech was when he was drunk! But this time, he just wants to tell her everything - as if now that he's found her to talk to, he doesn't want to hold anything inside him anymore.
- When Dutta told Nakku that he liked what she had to say, Nakku almost looked like she'd gotten the most beautiful and unexpected gift. She almost had that mesmerized look on her face as though she couldn't believe for a moment that Dutta liked what SHE had to say. *sigh* He really made her night! She looked so happy! 😃
- Did anyone else notices how Nakku proudly showed Baji the glass of alcohol that she was taking away from Dutta as he walked in? And how pleasantly surprised Baji was as a result of it!? I LOVE Baji-Nakku relationship!
- The first think Dutta needs to tell Baji is that he'd apologized to Nakku - that's the first thing Baji indirectly asks of and the first thing Dutta has to clarify. I love how both men realize that Dutta's actions towards Nakku last night were despicable and before THAT is cleared out nothing else can be discussed.
- I also love how happy Baji gets when he hears that Dutta's apologized - maybe because he sees a trace of the old Dutta in that "apology" and maybe because his belief about Dutta being a "good" guy is confirmed by the fact that he admitted his mistake and apologized for it.
- When Baji asks Dutta why he'd gone to that "manhoos talab" Dutta dismissed it by saying that Baji won't understand. But does anyone else feel it was because after contemplating an answer for that question Dutta realized HE was in fact the one who didn't understand 'why"?! That he was the one who didn't have the answer to that question (yet!) and he was just getting out of it by laying the blame on Baji's inability to understand it. *sigh* Dutta, Dutta, Dutta - quit denying k "kuch kuch hota hai"! 😆
- Dutta and Baji talking business! You know, for some reason I think this "Arif" dude (I think that's what Dutta called him) is going to be involved in Nakku getting shot by More. Maybe it's at this "deal" sight that More tried to attack Dutta and Nakku comes in? Or maybe he sells Dutta out to More because after all Dutta did say that he wasn't what he seemed. So, this is just a thought. I'm going to wait and watch to see how wrong I am here. 😆
- Dutta giving a devious smile to Baji after hinting an "Or else, he knows...." - *sigh* I should quit before my brain melts down?! 😍
- Kaala! How I missed your smart conniving self! 😃
- So Kaala doesn't like to wait?! She doesn't like to change her schedule around for anyone even though she keeps asking both the sisters to move at her direction all the time. A true "alpha-dog", so to speak. 😃
- When Leela tells Kaala that she'd planned something to stop the wedding all on her own, Kaala looked genuinely shocked. Like she hadn't expected Leela to ever be able to come up with something at all on her own (not that I blame her, I don't have much faith in Leela's intelligence either! 😆).
- Ever since Leela told her that she's made a "plan" to stop the wedding Kaala was enjoying the "show". Even when Leela took verbal shots at her by saying that her plan did not involve any "poisoned saris" or "poisoned air conditioning", Kaala was still amused by her. It was like she was watching a kid get excited over their first "drawing" - as stupid as it was, she didn't consider it a threat. Even when Leela started being defensive by accusing Kaala of not appreciating anything that they came up with. But once Leela blamed her of getting "jealous" of her plan (an ABSURD thought!) Kaala was enraged - it was like Leela had stepped on the snake's tail, metaphorically speaking. After that, Kaala was subtle but vicious in her replies - commenting on Leela's inability to decipher Kaala's motives. And then she challenged her, to carry out her plan and almost dared her to be successful in it. Like she knew that it would be a major disaster but now that Leela had accused her of something as mediocre as jealousy, she wasn't going to think twice before enjoying her failure. *sigh* My favorite villain - I am way too demented. 😆
- Here's one face I did NOT miss - Sudarshan! Man, go away! Go find your mistress and blister her eyes instead! 🤢
- I LOVED how Kaala told him to his curiosity to himself! "Ainda apney matlab sey matlab rakhna!' - LOVE IT! I will definitely enjoy watching Kaala draft a personal vendetta against this guy! What? A girl can hope! 😆
- I hate Leela - she's the most despicable of the evil trio so far. At least Kaala "attacks" with principles and with brains. Leela on the other hand is just plain evil - someone who wishes ill on their own home as long as THEY are safe are just too evil in my books. 🤢
- Even Sudarshan knows what a "gentleman" our Dutta Bhao is! 😆
- Sudarshan trying to be romantic with Leela = *puke enducing emotions" 🤢
- SETHJI!!! Man I missed this kid! And look at him move! He knows more than I do! Yeah, that should be proof of how LITTLE I know! 😆
- Just when I was thinking that Baji became friends with Kaala's son (remember the first time they met things didn't go so well!) he shoves the kid! And then they start fighting! That was just the cutest thing I've ever seen. 🤣 And when Kishore plays referee by making them hug Sethji almost pushes the kid off as though he didn't want to be hugged by him. LOL! 🤣
- Dutta in (my favorite shade of) green colored sherwani - *sigh* 😍
- Did anyone else notice Dutta pause and pull in a small breath as if preparing himself, right outside his room ? Sort of like a "Let's do this!"...? Anyone...? Well, I did. 🤔
- When Sudarshan tells Dutta not to worry because he was "taking care" of everything, Dutta smiled as if trying to say "Ahan, sure you are!". I love how easily Dutta catches Sudarshan's "nonsense". 😆
- Baji notices Leela looking suspicious and he goes right to her. But what amuses him the most is when she tells him how this mandap reminded her of her own wedding.
And I LOVE Baji's reaction when she tells him how "good" Sudarshan was looking that day - Baji looked at him as though he was trying to figure out WHAT part of him could possibly look good! And I rolled off my chair laughing! 🤣
- That kid so hit that vase on purpose! I SAW it - it was not an accident! 😆
- When Baji was wondering where he was going to find 500 "kunwari larkiyan" for Bhao when he can't even find one, I totally screamed "How hard is that?!!!" at my laptop screen. Because seriously, finding 500 "kunwari larkiyan" for Dutta Bhao shouldn't be any work - I am sure we have atleast 20 right here! 😆
- I loved the irony in that scene - Baji looking for a "kunwari larki" for Dutta Bhao while the one and only "larki" meant for Dutta Bhao was right in front of him!
- I love it when Baji calls Nakku "koyal". It's such an endearing name! 😃
- OMG! Dude! It's a wedding - can someone please tell the "mavali" to stop wearing shirts two sizes too short. Please! And to BUTTON up his shirt. 🤢 Seriously, he looks like he's bursting out of his shirt (which contrary to what he might think) is NOT cool!
- Nakku looks at Dutta and Supriya with such longing as if she wants to be there instead of her (I say push the girl out and claim what's yours!). But what I love more is how Baabi notices Nakku's pain and comforts her by softly brushing her head with her hand. That was such a maternal action - it was absolutely heart-warming. Her daughter's pain really hurts her too - I love this mother-daughter relationship!
- So, umm, why exactly could Roops not be the fifth girl? I know why Kaala didn't WANT her to be the fifth girl - but I don't understand why Aayi just "understood" that Roops can't do the pooja "today". Am I missing out on something? 😕
- Chalo kisi ko toh akal ayi! And obviously it would be Kaala who'd realize this first - that Nakku was totally there to be the "fifth" girl for Dutta. I mean seriously?! Someone is looking for a "girl" for Dutta and totally ignores Nakku (the one girl for Dutta) - that makes no sense! 😆
- Precap thing: So the "mavali" saves Supriya? I hope that once he pulls her out from under the falling mandap, he just keeps running with her hand in his - without stopping. And I am sure all of us are going to scream "Good riddance!". *fingers crossed* 😆
