i think he might feel that he does not know how to buy a gift 4 a girl because even after doing so much 4 that seema character🤢,working day and night so he can buy gifts for her,😔a house 4 them after marriage she still betrayed him 4 that old fat man.😡

yes i suppose marie is right...datta is a lot for seema but that didnt help. plus lets not forget its been 10 years since then and in that duration he's only been involved in bhaigiri business. so maybe he's out of touch.

If you ask me, I think it is something he had totally forgotten. That he wanted to forget. He tried to let his old life behind him- the pain lasted anyway, of course. But if you watch the scene again, the one where Naku tells him what kind of presents girls like, he immediately looks up or something like this when she mentions the chudiyan. As if all of a sudden he remembers.

Plus, he was not *that* interested in getting a gift. He just had promised his mother that he will try to find something nice and didn't even bother to go out to get it. Just told the girl on the phone he needed a gift for a girl and agreed to whatever she said.
